The Georgian Resort    

The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower had fantastic pressure.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The staff was wonderfully accommodating. We came to the lobby at 11pm for a corkscrew and there was no problem. Our room was beautiful and very clean, and we had a lovely lake view from our honeymoon suite.

The exterior was undergoing a roof replacement at the time we stayed there, and while that was unsightly it didn't bother us tremendously. I'm sure the renovation will be finished by summer.

Wall are thin. later arrivers were very noisy and I was unable to contact anyone during the night.

Location was great. Staff was wonderful but the hotel itself was alittle dated. I expected more but your staff were great.it could stand upgrading a bit

Beds were a bit uncomfortable

The sheets weren't clean and were clearly slept in. Found hair on the pillows and pubic hair in the tub from the previous guest. Other than that, quite clean. You get what you pay for.

The staff was friendly and helpfull also like the location room was clean and was a very nice place to stay we enjoyed our trip to Lake George

comfortable beds, white bedding, warm comforters. ok bathroom with nice mirror. neutral colored walls and clean carpet. outdoor swimming pool is heated and open until perhaps late October. view of the lake from the restaurant and swimming pool dock is amazing.

The price at this time of the season. Very central in the town. The bed was ok.

It was the best visit I have ever had The room was very clean, comfortable,luxurious, the staff were super friendly and courteous, beautiful view of the lake, great food at the Giovanna restaurant, first class

the rooms were nice and updated, compared to the other hotels we have stayed at in the past in Lake George. Would stay there again and recommend to others.

The room was great in size & very comfortable.

The parking was crazy, we had a room on the lower level with a space right outfront, however we had trouble even finding a spot in the parking lot at all. We had to wait for another vehicle to leave.

Charged higher rate at Check-in than when reservation made. Reservation made for a room with Courtyard view. Placed in a room at far end of property, back of building, with view of other doors within 20ft of our room(pics) Within 3 hours of Check-in a Pre-auth hold was placed on credit card for almost double what was owed for balance of stay. Questioned 2 employees @ front desk, neither could explain why so much. Next morning workers right outside our room, placing sheets of plywood on ground & removing chairs placed by rooms in order to make room for some type of units they were installing. No possibility of sitting outside and reading newspaper. When we went to leave we had to literally climb around their work truck/trailer because of how closely they backed it into the area where our room was(pic). Went for Breakfast @ hotel restaurant, Giovanna's. Waitress' first stop at table-indicated may be a delay with service since she was the only wait staff and she had a table of 6 ahead of us. Left 45 minutes after being seated, still hungry. 1 order, French toast, not cooked thoroughly / other order incomplete, asked for & never received what was missing. Hostess who sat us was sitting at a table, not the least bit aware of what was/wasn't going on. Only 3 tables occupied. When returned to room that evening, both key cards deactivated. When checking out asked for, and was told there was no, Manager on duty. As I was leaving a note on check-out statement, asked when a Manager may see it, was told by Connie (who had already told me there was no Manager on duty) that her boss had gone into labor and she was covering for her(??). A total nightmare stay!

Good location for access to the lake. Lot of nearby food choices.

Bit old and rundown. Beds were very wobbly - slightest movement causes it to bounce around.

One of the rooms was in very bad condition my family refused to stay in that room. I requested for room change but it didn't work. I wouldn't have booked that room even for an hour if I knew the condition of that room

Heated pool, cabana & grill, private beach, small boat rentals. The location is perfect!

Although the hotel is a classic style, 2 story motel, the buildings are very well maintained. The rooms are updated and very clean. A/C is new and quiet. Excellent location on the lake, beautiful views.

beds were soft, rugs were soiled very badly, and the door was damaged you could see outside light.

It was wonderful. Better then the online pictures. Did not realize Lake George was our backyard!!!

Parking was a bit tough but it's summer on the lake!
