pool and spa close to highway, easy to find free wifi and parking
noise from people upstairs and on their balcony mattress a bit too soft
away from crowds, peaceful and very pleasant surroundings..great restaurant next door! Would definitely stay there again.
The place was attractive and quiet.
There was a musty smell in the bathroom, somewhat like mold. It bothered me during the night. Also I was sorry the view had also the view of the parking spaces
View out back of our room 221 and fireplace, All in all very good and close to a wonderful restaurant with back patio dining.
Duvet covers made sleeping difficult. Too hot with and chilly when removed.
No breakfast either included or available. Breakfast at nearby Geyserville Inn had no cereal/toast cheap options. Pity.
Location, quiet rooms, kids loved the pool,
Room had a few issues they fixed.
The Geyserville Inn is in the Geysersville Area of Sonoma Valley wine country. When we arrived we were greeted by Mary Ellen who was working the front desk at the Inn. Mary Ellen is truly an asset for the Inn, she is very personable and was very helpful during our two night stay at this Inn. The accommodations were first class. The bed was comfortable, and the rooms come with refrigerator, microwave and a coffee maker (we had to request the microwave and they brought one our room immediately). They had wine-glasses in our room which I thought was pretty neat. They had an outdoor hot pool which me and my wife both used after a day of checking out wineries in the Geyserville area. The first night there we had dinner at an Italian Food restaurant in Geyserville called Diavola. The food was pretty good. The next day we checked out the following Wineries in the Geyserville area: Pedroncelli Winery, Dry Creek Vineyard, Ferrari-Carano Vineyards Sbragia Vineyard and Francis Ford Coppola Winery. Of course The Coppola Winery was a must. There were a lot of things to check out there other than just there wines. I would also encourage you to visit the other wineries they all were real treats and the staff at the wineries were very informative about the histories of their vineyards and their wines. The wine people in the Sonoma Valley are very proud of their vineyards and wines. Before you start your wine country exploration ask the front desk if they have any discount coupons for the wineries in the area. The younger staff at the Inn didn't seem as knowledgeable or as helpful as Mary Ellen was so if possible direct your questions to Mary Ellen.
I wish they had a laundry at this Inn. Also I found that the younger staff that worked the front desk at the Inn were not as knowledgeable or helpful as they should of have been. As an example I ask for advice on the local wineries in the Geyserville area and they did not mention or recommend the Francis Ford Coppola Winery which by far was the most interesting Winery that we visited.
Nice walk to the restaurant serving Sunday Brunch Really easy location to all the places we visited- wineries, lake sonoma, river rock casino, healdsburg restaurants.
The air conditioning was loud and kept us up at night. If we turned it off, it got hot fast and the freeway noise was loud. Problem for light sleepers only.
Nice room, lovely pool area, decent location (we had a bike to get into town, but it may be a bit long for some to walk)
It was a bit expensive, but, I suppose that's wine country...
Accommodations very good for the price. Close to wineries and great restaurants. Pleasant and helpful staff.
Hotel is situated near the freeway. It is best to get a room facing the mountain. Upgraded room with king size bed and more quiet and space is the way to go.
Another couple has the same access entry key to our room. Our card access key was a hit and miss working.
a basic motel fixed up but nothingmore
Our room was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. We went for a wine tasting visit and there were many wineries within a 20 minute drive. The pool was delightful as well. We will definitely return and recommend to others.
Thought the breakfast at the restaurant was overpriced for the quality.
Location was great. Comfortable, lovely room with a balcony. Enjoyed the pool.
We liked both the friendly and well trained staff and the quality of the furnishing and bedding.
We were upgraded to a king room with balcony. It had a wonderful view, bed was very soft and not overflowing with pillows and thick bedspreads which are hard to find a good place for when you want to go to bed. Night light in the bathroom. Nice tea, Peet's and coffee. Geyserville grill next door serves breakfast and has a nice outdoor patio.
With such nice large room and bathroom but they could have done better job decorating.
This place is a find. Great staff and wonderful location. The value for the money cannot be beat.
Best bang for the buck I will most definitely be back Geyserville is awesome.
Great value for the price. Very nice room, lobby and staff. Wonderful outdoor dinning for our well prepared breakfast. We enjoyed our server, who took the time to show us around the historic two story establishment.
Clean, quiet, comfortable Inn. Excellent beds. Front desk staff extremely helpful in suggesting restaurants.
The owners and staff were extremely accommodating to our every need and wish. The town of Geyserville is small and rural. Very charming and a nice get away from big city life. The adjoining restaurant is under remodeling so the owners provided plenty of good coffee and a light continental breakfast which was an unexpected bonus. The property is lovely. The staff made excellent recommendations and appears to be very well thought of within the local restaurant and wine industry.
This Inn is an excellent value for the price! Great location quiet and peaceful, but very close to the highway. Extremely comfortable beds and pillows and very stylish rooms. Very helpful staff always willing to help. Highly recommend!!
Super hot hallways (minor complaint).
Our hosts made us feel like old friends, rather than first time visitors. Everything about this inn is charming, comfortable convenient, and friendly. We look forward to returning, very soon.
Clean and comfy.
Way to expensive for what they called a "junior suite". Anywhere else it would just be a regular room,
Fantastic location in the middle of the countryside. Very peaceful, surrounded by vineyards. Small town with nice restaurants and lovely winerys and tasting rooms.
Town is small and nothing stays open late so make sure to go shopping for food and drink before you arrive. Safeway is 24hours
