Liked everything about it; room was large and very comfortable. Location was great right on lake for swimming and fishing. Staff friendly and very helpful.
booking.com shows kitchenette for motel units this is not the case get the one bedroom for $20 more it includes a full kitchen
even though they close pool and hot tub down early sunday thru wednesday during the winter months they left open for us to use until eight during our stay. had the whole pool to ourselves during this time
The only drawback I can see some having a problem with is the lack of WiFi in individual rooms. However, we didn't miss it all!
Stayed one night with my two teenagers. Convenient to Gunstock, restaurants, shopping. Comfortable, clean 2 bedroom unit.
The pillows were not comfy. The door had a slight gap which brought in cold air. The door needs a secure locking system.
The room was a good size. It was cold both nights of our stay but the heater worked great. The pool was spotless. One of the nicer pools we've stayed at.
Front door didnt lock!!
Location was great for skiing
The bed was not a queen size bed it was squeaky
The complex apparently contains a mix of rental units and condo units. The unit we rented for the weekend was directly below a condo unit where new flooring was being installed. The work took place on the Saturday of our stay. After returning to our room at 7:00 Pm, we encountered consistent hammering and construction noises coming from the workers directly above us. We called the front desk to ask them to request the work cease, as we wanted to get our two young children to bed. We were told that the resort did not have " control'" of the unit above us, and that 7:00 was not too late for construction activities. We were also told there were no other available units to relocate us to. After another hour of banging noises from above, I walked to the front desk and demanded a refund. After a brief phone conversation with the general manager the front desk attendant informed us that a room had become available, but by this time my wife and children were dressed for bed and I didn't feel that we should be inconvenienced at that hour which was now around 8:30. The unit is also directl accessed from the outdoors, where the January New Hampshire temperature has dropped into the low teens. Not wanting to "go off" on the teenager behind the front desk, I asked for the GM's number. Back in the room again, we were paid a visit from one of the workers up stairs. They said that they had a deadline to meet and asked if they could continue working for another hour. I told them we had tired kids that needed sleep and to please stop immediately. They finally did at 9:30 and after a visit from the local police who we called in frustration after a last futile attempt at getting satisfaction from the resorts GM, who essentially told us tough luck. The resort might thrive in the summer due to it's location on lake Winnipasakee, but read the reviews on other travel related sites and beware....Bookings rates this a 7.
Reasonable rate, good location near Gunstock Mountain.
The people in the room directly above ours were exceedingly loud. There was no game room which disappointed my son. Refrigerator froze our beers and waters.
Nice location on lake, close to Gunstock Ski Resort. Nice pool/hot tub facility. Quiet town in winter. Courteous, knowledgeable staff. Discount ($10 off) ski lift tix at front desk.
Location was very good and near to a shops and restaurants. The complex is well maintained and the staff very friendly. We would definitely stay here again...might pay more and have an apartment nearer the water although our place was just as described and very pleasant and comfortable.
Had to buy our ice--$1.00/bag. Had to ask for coffee for the next morning and there was no sugar or creamer.
Nice suite, quiet, nice location.
Minor issues, the sauna appeared not to be working correctly. It was not putting out enough heat. For the kitchen, potholders were needed. Unable to connect to WiFi beyond the first day.
The view from the room was fantastic! After a day of shopping and touring the Lake Region, it was lovely to return to a nice room, make supper, and dine looking out at the water. As for the staff, Haily, was a gem, she knew I was interested in bringing my daughter antique shopping, and she included that information in my packet. Haily showed a keen interest in looking at the photographs I captured of the harbor. Thank-you for your hospitality.
This was our last stay in N.H. before heading back to Wisconsin. We booked a hotel room. Arrived early but room was ready. Hailey at desk very nice. Good location. Could walk across road to lake. Room was very large. Had everything we needed for a one night stay.
No Kleenex, hair dryer,no info on resort or map, microwave wouldn't work, no staff after 9. Had to prop the uncomfortable wooden chair under the doorknob on the ground floor room! No color in the room at all, and only blinds which didn't shut out all the lights outside. No place within 15 minutes to eat. Beach was a 5 minute drive away, and I had no clue where.
Good for families who need room for cots, and plan on cooking meals, who boat!
No coffee. No TV facing bed. Front desk initially mis-directed me to the wrong building. Non-carpeted flooring upstairs - could hear them walking around.
Location Size of room
the manager was awful when i told her about the water issue
The hotel was nice and clean and comfortable. But a hot shower before my brother's wedding was important
Bed and furniture not comfortable and air conditioner was dirty. The room above us was very noisey after 11:pm. Thin walls and ceiling.
I thought it was a bit overpriced.
Proximity to venue. Very comfortable.
I felt it was overpriced for what it is. One bed was a Murphy bed that folded down from the wall and the other was an uncomfortable fold out bed from the couch. I also felt the three night minimum was excessive.
The Kitchenette was a nice feature and their location was very convenient.
Pillow to hard
Within 10 minutes drive from the Timberman 70.3 event (triathlon), the place was clean and very pleasant
Wi Fi only in the lobby. Room seemed a bit small.
Beautiful beach access. Quiet even with people in rooms next to us. I love having a kitchen! Close to stores and other major venues.
We had no complaints
Location of rental, kindness of staff and management.
I liked everything.
Proximity to function and overall comfort of the room.
The pool need to be clean every day...
It was the first time and we love it the best place to be in peace with the love ones I recommend it to anyone is fabulous
