“Great service, some of the friendliest and most sincerely gracious staff I've ever encountered at a hotel. Excellent location, especially if you want easy access to Chelsea, Union, Meatpacking and Soho districts. Very easy to get uptown to the East Side as well.”

The staff at the hotel were fantastic. The location is one of the best in NYC- loved being so close to the Flatiron District. Also, the free coffee and breakfast buffet in the morning and the wine and cheese in the evening were a wonderful perk. I would definitely stay at this hotel again nothing- great value for the money

I had an excellent stay at Hotel Giraffe! It was my anniversary, and the staff went out of its way to make sure we were happy with our stay. The breakfast was fantastic, and we loved the afternoon wine and cheese in the lobby. A really top-notch hotel that I will definitely stay in again.

The staff was very attentive and friendly. The rooms well appointed and clean. Roof top garden was a added treat, as was breakfast and evening wine and cheese that were at no additional cost. Room even had an umbrella that was very necessary on the one day, We will be back.

I found the staff very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities required. The perks of a glass of wine and snacks early evening was much appreciated as was the coffee and snacks during the day. Breakfast included in the stay and readily available allowed us to make the best use of our time to see the wonderful sites that New York has to offer. The hotel had a comfortable atmosphere and I especially want to comment on the friendliness of the staff. I would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was in a good location, Times Sq/Greenwich Village both walkable from there. The breakfast, drinks/snacks available during the day and evening wine and cheese were all very enjoyable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Unlike some of the reviewers we did not find a problem with noise or with seating for breakfast. Would stay there again. Its not a negative more a suggestion, unfortunately because there was a convention using the rooftop terrace for the full week we were there, we were not able to use it and as the weather was warm during our stay it was a disapointment. I would suggest when you book, if you would want to use the terrace, contact the hotel to confirm that its not being used during your stay.

Loved the hotel for many reasons. Modern and spacious. Small and quiet. Extremely friendly. Tea and coffee free and available all day in foyer as well as bowl of fruit. Excellent and again free, cheese and wine reception in foyer for hotel guests every evening and included all sorts of healthy and well presented food inc baby carrots, celery sticks tomatoes nuts crackers wine cheese selection etc. very impressed one pm when friend was meeting us and when I asked hotel if I could pay for her to join us, was told she was very welcome to join us free of charge. Beautiful roof terrace with lifesize metal giraffe and pretty flowers with benches to enjoy sunny weather and relax, and view of some interesting rooftops. Had not one complaint. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and would highly recommend Giraffe Hotel to anyone going to New York. Loved everything and disliked nothing!!

The friendliness and general service. The room was well appointed and the extras, like turndown, evening wine and nibblies and permanent coffee etc, was appreciated. The adjacent restaurant, 20% discount, Bread and Tulips, was both excellent quality and value. Staying over a weekend of variable weather, the provision of a couple of hours late checkout was very nice - enabling us to walk over to Chelsea and also visit the "Highline". We also then fell into one of the 2 most popular Sunday Brunch venues in NYC. We felt ultra trendy (but the price was fair). The physical breakfast arrangement, in the Lobby, coped in the weekend, but must be rather chaotic if everybody decided to arrive at once. When we visit NYC again, because we use every possible opportunity to visit a Broadway show and a musuem, we will probably stay Midtown rather than near the Flatiron. The weather was very cold and often raining and we found ourselves getting taxis up (and back) to Midtown over and over - NYC taxis are not too expensive - so the cost was not relevant - just the convenience.

Having stayed at this hotel previously we had no hesitation in returning. Excellent customer orientated staff always friendly and helpful. Great location for walking to all areas of interest to us. Room service great and we really enjoyed the wine/cheese evenings with the piano playing! Nothing to be negative about the hotel facilities/services. Slightly expensive per night but it does include breakfast plus evening services.

very individualized service, no hustle bustle very eruopean , not too bitg , a respit from frenzy of New York. very trendy and classy , european style breakfast , restaruatnt attached. Lobby manager very friendly, very individuallized. none of the mini bars apparently were plugged in so all of the drinks were warm, that was a bit of a turn off.

The faculty was amazing and attentive. We will definitely stay there again! The hotel is central to everything and it was so easy...the parking, the doors that I never even touched!! It was fabulous. There was no bar available, as it was being utilized for some private party at the time, and I would have liked to have had that as an option. Also, not able to order anything from room service. It was new years in nyc and I we didnt necessarily feel like leaving at certain points and would have liked to have ordered in.

Outstandi service from hotel staff. They were very professional and assisted us with many issues regarding, shows, restaurants etc. Best hotel staff I ever saw in a NY hotel Breakfast facilities were poor. There was not enough witting space and a couple of days we had to eat standing up. This was ridicoulous given the category of the hotel. rooms are rather small.

A very welcoming hotel, centrally located as a base for all types of travel (plus is only 50 meters from a Metro stop) but sufficiently far from the roads to be chaotic and convulsive also quiet and relaxing. Staff very kind and discreet, comfortable and large rooms. Breakfast is included which, by the standards of the Hotel Manhattan, is an important detail. Very nice idea to offer every afternoon from 17.00 to 20.00, with a cocktail piano bar.
