Haven Inn was very clean, the owners were awesome! The camp host Don was very helpful and so nice. You can tell the owners work very hard. Randy was a wealth of ideas and knowledge on what to do and see on your trip.

We didn't like train tracks right beside the site. Constant noise and rumbling in our cabin. The train made numerous trips by, even at night.

The proprietors are very friendly and welcoming. Not only do they bend over backwards to ensure their guests are comfortable, they're also forthcoming with tips about attractions in the area and throughout Montana. The facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. You can tell this family takes pride in their business.

The wireless Internet didn't really work.

Owners were nice, helpful on maps and visiting Glacier Park. The reservation was prepaid, but were we weren't told until after we paid that we couldn't drink the water and they weren't serving dinner!

Couldn't drink the water! They told us it was unsafe east of the divide, but right down the road, at Izaak it was fine. No a/c, bad pillows. We checked in on a Monday, the night she didn't cook, but she told us to stop in Browning or somewhere along the way to eat. I wish she had recommended Izaak Walton Lodge.

    Not much.

Too much train noise & didn't live up to our expectations and how it was described to us. it certainly wasn't worth the money, but realize they have to make hay while the sunshines. The owners were very nice though. The location was too out of the way and hard to find.

My boyfriend and I were unfamiliar with Glacier Park. The staff provided us with numerous good tips on trails, travel routes, and safety. The facilities were immaculately clean. The greatest surprise was that Glacier Haven also has a diner where they serve the most incredible omelets and huckleberry pie!

    Room clean and nicely decorated.

Most expensive and least enjoyed accommodation for our 12 day vacation. Location is between a very busy freeway and a train that runs frequently, so be prepared for little sleep. Room is small with low ceilings. Internet barely accessible.

I have stayed at luxury hotels that did not have the attention to detail that Glacier Haven Inn does. The motel is run by a family that manages to make you feel as if you stepped into their home, had dinner in their dining room, and a good night's sleep in the best guest room at the motel. No joke, these people are a cut above. Clean, comfortable beds, quilts that are spotless and that look handmade. Micro and fridge are in the room so after a nice home-cooked meal, don't forget to bring back a piece of real homemade Huckleberry pie. Randy or Julie will tell you how to heat it up for that unique midnight snack. The railroad runs behind the motel, but you'll find you can hear that wherever you stay.

    Not one thing.

I have never seen a staff work harder to please. The rooms, grounds, and office/restaurant/gift shop were exceptionally clean. This is an older roadside motel that has been completely refurbished.

The Inn is quite a distance from the GNP entrance and from any alternative dining options. The room face the main highway into GNP and only set off the road about 50 feet. There is a mainline railroad track with 24 hour traffic approx. 100 feet behind the rooms. It is tough to get a quiet night. There is no Wi-Fi and not cell signal. We also were not given any access to ice. The restaurant is only open 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the evening which is ok considering the quality and price of the meals.

Great Family atmosphere. Great food. Small . Comfortable rooms The woners were fabulous providing tips and guidance for our trip in Glacier National Park. We definitely recommend. We were made to feel like part of the family.

A little bit on the pricey side (but maybe not, considering the area (Glacier National Park) and competitive prices.

The facility was clean and the owners and their children were very friendly. Thought it wasn't too far from the park either.

We did not know that the motel sat between a train that ran as much as 4 times in an hour overnight and a busy highway. There was no AC and so had to sleep with the windows open on both sides of the cabin so we heard every train and car that went by throughout the night. Did not get any rest for our big day in the park. Also worried about bears with the open windows as well. We had booked 2 nights but did not return for the second night.
