The owners are super nice and very helpful. The trains are loud at night but there's not much you can do about that.
I wouldn't come back during the off season, a lot of places were closed.
Bear room was very nice and clean.
The inn is near the BNSF railroad so you will hear trains regularly. Just consider it part of the parks history and the whole glacier experience. :-)
Very clean-nice owner
felt like I was sleeping in the median-so much traffic noise-from highway and train-would not stay there again
The home cooked breakfast each morning was great! The rooms were kept exceptionally clean and very well maintained.
Location . . . almost halfway from West and East Glacier entrances. Superb, very accommodating, helpful staff who were knowledgeable of the area. Very clean rooms.
Arrived to late in season . . . adjacent restaurant had just closed. Nearness to mainline railroad tracks.
It was a nice area, friendly people and good accomodation
Easy to get to.In the mountains.
Train and traffic noise.
The Glacier Haven Inn is located on Hwy. 2 nearly equidistant between East and West Glacier. Very Handy. Friendly owners. A clean room and comfortable bed to come back to after a day of exploring and hiking. Lovely location.
Only a slight down side, the RR tracks run very near the Inn and the cars on the highway whoosh by at 70 mph. On the other hand, the trains moved slowly with no horns and seemed more to put us to sleep than wake us. The vehicle noise was tolerable.
Staff are super friendly, facilities are very very clean. Would definitely recommend to other travelers!
Very nice welcome. Great location.
Haven Inn was very clean, the owners were awesome! The camp host Don was very helpful and so nice. You can tell the owners work very hard. Randy was a wealth of ideas and knowledge on what to do and see on your trip.
We didn't like train tracks right beside the site. Constant noise and rumbling in our cabin. The train made numerous trips by, even at night.
We liked the staff, location and it was great for the kids.
the dozen or so trains flying by 50 feet from the bed all night long!
Beautiful cabin like accommodation. Easy to find.
WiFi weak and very limited. A little way from food places, shop, etc...
nosiness privacy very small room toilet was not working
Family owned, rather close to the Park entrance (around 20 miles). Fantastic breakfast (not included in the room rate though)
Wi-fi practically not working. Located between highway and railway: rather noisy during night and early morning
The proprietors are very friendly and welcoming. Not only do they bend over backwards to ensure their guests are comfortable, they're also forthcoming with tips about attractions in the area and throughout Montana. The facilities are extremely clean and well maintained. You can tell this family takes pride in their business.
The wireless Internet didn't really work.
Family owned and operated , down home quality and service
The people who owned and operated.
Air conditioning was not on.
Community shower/bathhouse, noisy trains immediately adjacent so heard noise all through the night
Friendly staff and nice dinner.
Didn't know it was set between the busy highway and train tracks. No sleep.
Great breakfast !
No smoking allowed anywhere on the property.
too noisy, it's close to the railway
Owners were nice, helpful on maps and visiting Glacier Park. The reservation was prepaid, but were we weren't told until after we paid that we couldn't drink the water and they weren't serving dinner!
Couldn't drink the water! They told us it was unsafe east of the divide, but right down the road, at Izaak it was fine. No a/c, bad pillows. We checked in on a Monday, the night she didn't cook, but she told us to stop in Browning or somewhere along the way to eat. I wish she had recommended Izaak Walton Lodge.
