Score from 43 reviews Excellent
Easy access as our activities were at the Jamestown civic Center.
The room smelled very bad.. like urine. There was a beer can left in the console under the tv. Was too tired upon arrival to ask for housekeeping but.. did mention it upon checkout.
Helpful staff, spacious room, central location
Wi-fi awful slow, ice machines didn't work, ominous newspaper articles about when hotel burned down
My door to my room was hard to open n to get shut.
Good atmosphere good first impression
The wifi did not work good at all and too far from all the sit down restaurants
Wife really enjoyed the themed room. Within easy walking distance of nice places to eat and scenic downtown.
It was close to all the events I had to attend: churches on Sabbath and wedding on Sunday. Convenient
People in the pool early in morning and late at night. I could hear child crying very distinctly early morning or late night. I was charged $10 for some bad tasting scrambled egg, a medium cup of coffe, a small peanut butter tub, and 2 pieces of bread for breakfast.
Very clean and comfortable.
Poor wi fi
The staff was friendly and helpful.
First night people were being loud in the halls and pool till after 2:30 am. When I talked to the front desk the noise stopped within 10 minutes. The second night was peaceful. The service in the restaurant was terrible. I didn't bother going there the second morning. There was a wedding reception Saturday night that took up the entire lobby area. I had to work my way through the crowd to get to the front desk.
The hotel was in a central location, near where there was a street concert going on. We arrived late and headed out early so can't really comment except to say the room met our needs.
The room was great, very clean and comfortable
Room was very dated and looked like something out of the 70's. Would have been fine for $59 a night but for $100 it was a joke.
Having to get equipment to use wifi
Comfortable bed, clean room.
Mold on shower curtain, lots of sand in the hot tub.
Pool and hot tub were nice features and we had a room that opened to them. The hours of operation were nice/appropriate. Unfortunately, the hot tub was closed for repair so we didn't get to use it.
Pillows were feather (I'm allergic). I had to ask multiple times before they were replaced. The first time I requested it, he said he'd bring them to the room. The 2nd time I requested it (about an hour later), he looked at me like he didn't recognize me or the request... he said he'd do it "when he had time, if it didn't get too busy". I ended up standing at the front desk until he made it happen. Once I had the replacement pillows, they were OLD and poor and I ended up using my sister's travel pillow instead. The hallways had obviously been wet as each one had multiple fans drying them. I took allergy meds because I assumed I'd have problems (I'm also allergic to mold). I didn't seem to have problems but I'm not sure if that was the medications or not. I found the wifi good enough but my sister had significant issues with the speed.
The room was decorated in a sports theme my grandkids thought it was the most awesome room ever!
Couldn't eat and have a beverage near the pool.
We stayed in the Stadium Room. It was wonderful--large enough for our big family, even included a futon! The online price was very reasonable and the unique rooms made it a special treat for our kids.
The whirlpool was broken. That was very disappointing!
Suite themed rooms
No breakfast included.
First time stay took a chance very nice for the money
Love the theme rooms. Had a 7 year old along and he loved everything about the Gladstone Inn. We've stayed here four times and had a great experience each time.
The mattresses need to be upgraded.
I liked the novelty of the princess room and the pool was nice size but that was it.
It was very damp. The beds were only full sized. No continental breakfast. Bathroom was very small and lacking in accessibility of condiments and room. It was overrated for the price. Your pictorials and client testimonials were not true to form which leads me to think that the Gladstone Inn was the one who posted them. I would not stay with them again. Very uncomfortable situation sleeping because the sheets always felt damp and wet in the room even with the air conditioning on continually. Noisy during the evening hours past 2200 hours. The pool area was always messy with litter, garbage and people leaving wet towels lying around. No one in the employ of the Gladstone Inn went around to check on this and pick up everything.
Not much-restaurant very poor; whole place needs updating; young inexperienced staff
Anything - would not book here again
Probably the coolest room I've stayed in before. Great value for the room and great staff :)
I found it a bit odd they didn't serve some sort of breakfast but we understand with the lounge on property that does lunch and dinner.
Really helpful staff and clean rooms.
Uninformed staff in lounge.
Character room was awesome!!!
