Quiet at night, wonderful greeting when we arrived, helpful at desk , comfortable bed .
Even though we had the " do not disturb" sign up in the morning , house keeping still knocked at the door. Not a huge problem , just irritating.
This is the place we stay every time we travel to Erie. We love the friendliest of the staff, how clean the rooms are and how quiet it is. Glass House Inn is conveniently located to some of Erie's best attractions. We have stayed here multiple times and don't have any complaints. This is our go to place in Erie.
Staff at front desk was very nice, room was very comfortable
Didn't get a chance to enjoy breakfast d/t early departure. Maybe offer a breakfast to go like a muffin or piece of fruit since you already have coffee makers in room
the staff and the cleanliness
Staff very friendly. Very clean retro motel with plenty of room in our queen room. Definitely would stay here again. Great value!
Owner was very amiable when I telephoned with questions about location and my late arrival.
I was in Eire for a Church General Synod. After being in meetings all day each day, it was great to have a quiet place to come back to and kick off my shoes. It was an easy commute to where the meetings were being held. The price was more reasonable than the hotel where the Synod was being held. The room was comfortable, the staff was very helpful.
Very friendly owner that guve much information about what to do and restaurants.
The welcome upon entering, the size of the room, availability of parking, friendliness of other guests, lovely dining area, easy access to the sites of Erie.
We couldn't stay longer, time to go home.
Nice location, comfortable, friendly owners, fantastic breakfast
Like the fact that it is quaint. Staff went out of their way to find us additional booking for our weekend of shopping.
need stronger coffee in the morning!
We stayed at The Glass House Inn for three nights in September 2014. It was a perfect home base for travel to Presque Isle State Park, the wineries and locations in downtown Erie, PA. It was our bed at night and our breakfast in the morning, we pretty much were out and about during the day. We thought the Inn was clean and comfortable, we even used the heated pool every afternoon after we got back from sight seeing and caught the last sunshine of the day, very pleasant. The staff was friendly and we had a chance to speak with the owners daily during our stay. We've already talked about staying here again when we return to this area.
The location and price of this hotel was perfect. It's not flashy or spacious, but it was friendly, clean, and functional.
Morning traffic was enough to keep me from going back to sleep after along early.
Good job of refurbishing an older highway motel. Fresh paint & carpet. No old/musty smells. Flowers, pool well cared for. Staff was pleasant & answered questions about local restaurants. Bed & chairs comfortable. 2 windows that opened for evening breeze.
Couldn't figure out the window air conditioner controls. By the time I needed assistance, it was after 10:30 PM & the office was closed. If complimentary breakfast is going to offer bagels, please find something to offer besides Lender's. Fruit & muffins were OK.
The location was good, close to Presque Isle. It was located on a busy street but we never had a problem getting out on the highway. Within walking distance to a sandwich shop so we could pick up sandwiches for a day at the beaches. We liked the light continental breakfast. Cereal, bagels, fruit, danishes, juice and coffee. The pool looked nice but it was not hot enough to use it.
Traffic noise. Very small refrigerator. The rooms and furnishings were very outdated but everything was clean. We stayed 2 nights and they forgot to clean our room, apparently it was missed by accident. The bed was somewhat hard for my taste but we would stay again for the price.
Great location to Presque Isle and other attractions. Well kept, heated pool. Great check-in. I recommend this establishment.
My husband enjoyed the firm bed, but I found it quite hard.
Staff was attentive and helpful. Rooms very clean.
Bathroom fixtures worn.
Every thing was clean, everyone was friendly & the pool was clean.
I liked the cute little gifts they had displayed
The attitude of the girl on staff was horrible. There Christian prayer they had on the bed did not reflect at all the attitude of the one staff person. The bed might have just have been on the highway outside because that's how loud the noise was of the cars passing by all night long while I trying to sleep. Sorry but this is my honest opinion and I won't be back.
The location and the wifi. The lounger and the mini-kitchen was a nice touch.
Bed was rock-hard, bathroom is dated, with pink fixtures and no counter space.
Staff was very attentive. Facilities was like home away from home.
Convenient location Beautiful flowers
clean and comfortable, quiet, very welcoming, close to everything, friendly people
So called breakfast. Room was dark and dingy, small bed. Generally way overpriced.
Nicely decorated rooms, very cozy place.
The staff was was not friendly at all- not even good morning or good buy to us when we had breakfast & checked out. Exception is for the young lady at reception desk at the night of arrival- she was very nice to us. Very basic breakfast
