Score from 240 reviews Wonderful
The parking due to construction was so out of sight that took us a long time to realize how we would get into the hotel
I loved the hospitality and the bed was very comfortable
I booked early and had a couple of EASY requests. Not only were they not met, they weren't even mentioned. Also, I stated I would be paying in cash and my card was debited the first night of my three day stay.
Loved the comfy bed and great downtown location.
Rooms too small. Parking is expensive (28$ - also here booking provided wrong information). The front desk receptionist was unpolite, but the supervisor amended that situation with her kindness willing to help.
Staff, especially the front desk supervisor, were very kind. booking didn't provide the right information about the additional beds, and they gave as a complimentary extra room for the child. The location is just perfect. Good breakfast, although it was not included (15$ per person, more or less). Rooms comfortable and clean. On check-in you are welcome with a fresh drink, which is nice.
Front desk staff could have been a little more cordial.
The location was great, the room was clean, and we loved the roof top bar.
I booked a king and got put in s double queen. I was expecting the room to be more luxurious for the price I paid
The staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I called to make reservations at the Glenn restaurant and was told I did not need them. When I arrived at 5:30 to eat, I was told that it was booked up with reservations.
It's small and comfy.
friendly registration, wonderful beds, love our bathroom and nice little touches: coffee, chocolates, water.
Rooms were very small and showing some wear around the edges. Ridiculous parking fees/rules but equal to comparable hotels I've stayed at in DC, Chicago, etc.
The staff was excellent, the decor modern and pleasant. Glenn's Kitchen was a nice surprise.
Not totally injury-accessible. To get to the elevators, you had to walk up stairs. Hmm.
It seems like 'friend' is their brand. You will see it on their materials, but you will also experience it with their staff. They communicate with you as if they were your best friend. Way to live out the brand!
Kind personel Early check-in Late check-out Free coffee and wather in the room
Everything with my stay was four star. Unbelievable two days at The Glenn!!!
The bed was unbelievably comfortable. The room and bathroom was recently remodeled and had nice finishing touches. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends when in the area.
Too much money for an old hotel and old room. No maid service unless I asked for it. Limited room service menu.
The staff was very helpful and kind. After moving to a larger room there were lots of outlets and surfaces for electronics.
For the expense of $320.00 a night the towels were not replaced, the beds were left unmade underneath the whole high end experience was not in appearance or staffing. This hotel should have a talk with staff. We moved to another hotel a half block away that was just as comfortable the staff just as accommidating and clean for half the price.
Clean and the beds were comfortable after we made them ourselves.
The building is showing its age. The price was at least a hundred bucks too high for what they're selling (New Years Eve, one night with breakfast for two $439.00). A little too laxidaisical with the security (ie. no one keeping a close eye on the door in a neighborhood with a scary-looking homeless population. People coming in off the street unchecked to go to the rooftop bar).
Located near most of Atlanta's main attractions, convenient valet parking, reasonably priced food in the restaurant, an excellent breakfast, the walk-in, roomy tiled shower, Starbucks Coffee in the room.
The showers were a little less than perfect but still good.
We love the hotel, restaurant and bar. The rooms were great with lots of room and very modern.
Everything...very comfortable, quiet, great staff, excellent location for exploring the downtown on foot and close to the subway.
We were looking for a good rate for a hotel and found this. However, we were surprised by the additional $28 parking fee when we checked out the following morning. It wasn't a huge deal but if you are looking for something based on a budget - the added $28 is a relatively big increase in price.
This hotel was exactly as described and what we expected. The facilities were nice and the beds were very comfortable.
I did not dislike anything. Good location for the event I was attending!
Cleaning services. Did not make up the bed.
The complimentary wine
We stayed here last year on our honeymoon and returned for our anniversary. It was just as wonderful as it was last year. We will be back next year!
Cost of parking too high $28 dollars a day.
Staff, room, restaurant, location, on site valet parking, size of hotel is perfect as it gives a quiet escape in a large city.
Better parking prices(weekly rate?) but it wont deter me from coming again. $26 or $28/night is really standard for hotels in that area and I didnt want to hunt for better during my short stay.
The Glenn Hotel was the perfect stay! Everything was perfect. I felt safe, comfy, and all of the staff I met were very nice!
Didn't like the valet parking - we brought quite a bit of stuff and didn't like the rushed feeling of the valet. We came and went sometimes a few times a day over 6 days - you had to line that up with the front desk...They guys never knew if we were just checking in or not...and expected a tip...we didn't as we were there for a few days & it was multiple guys...that should've been included and given/divided up for the different workers that attended to us. We bought the breakfast package (which is like $100+ extra) And every day, we had to pay more($10-30 MORE!)...you only get $12 per person per meal (so we had $24) The breakfasts start right at that and up..It wasn't continental...you had to Sit and order and tip...or order to your room + have $2.50 and %18 tip added to Each day for the room service - That was a rip! Another thing, this boutique hotel seems like it is a hot spot for business travelers - I(we) felt a little out of place (not fancy enough?) We're in our late 20's - and if you want a place to dress up to...this is it...we mostly had t-shirts and comfy sight-seeing attire....Our room wasn't attended to for 2 days (we even asked the front desk to make sure it was one day, and it was neglected...) No pool :( And those pictures on booking.com...they weren't the same for the roof top...we thought they would have more lounge benches...it was mostly chairs...and we just wanted to relax...felt more like you had to drink, so we went back downstairs....
The décor was modern and inviting. It was close to the sights we wanted to see (cnn, Coke, Aquarium - we bought the CityPASS...perfect!) Bed was comfy - wifi is nice. The staff for the most part was very friendly - and they accommodated a room service problem with a hotel credit....Somehow as a surprise, the valet parking was included in our price?? At $28 a day, that was nice...not sure how we got that.
The hotel staff was excellent. Our room was wonderful. It was not at all what we expected. We were on the 7th floor and could not hear any noise from the city. The bed and pillows were so comfortable. The rooms were very clean and decorated beautifully. The bar on top of the hotel provided an amazing view of the city. I would definitely recommend this hotel for the couples.
