Location in town and town close to lakes. Period house with lots of character. Period furnishings in our room Excellent Breakfast Useful excursion suggestions
Can't say anything comes to mind.
Glynn pays attention to details. Provides great breakfast in the morning with diversified gluten free options, takes time to give personnalized recommendations to everyone (activities, restaurants, etc) and organizes a get together every evening from 5:30 to 6:30 with free wine and cheese. Rooms are great, house is beautiful, very private and staff is very nice.
Towels were clean but smelt humidity.
Great service and hospitality, central location for seeing NH foliage and lakes
It's very friendly, comfortable place! We loved be here
we loved the owners and how much knowledge they have of the area and their recommendations both the main house and carriage house are very beautiful and they accommodated our dog like royalty.
the bed was very very uncomfortable. the facilities (toilet) backed up on the first night and had to wait until seven a.m for a plunger. the gratuity innuendo. the room was warm and was supposed to be preset at 72 however our room stayed at 78 or so the whole time. couldnt use the jetted tub after 10 p.m. And the fireplace would hardly come on because of the high temperature in the room which was our main reason for staying in that particular ssuite hors d'oeuvres served between 5:30 and 6:30 we're cheese and crackers I would have expected something a little more for the price we paid and calling them hors d'oeuvres. Also the breakfast hours were set to 830 to 930 unless otherwise specified even though it was cooked to order it was a very short time to get to the main house and order it took time away from getting to other attractions for the day. Perhaps if it was served earlier, it would be more accommodating.
The fact that our beloved Irish Setter was made to feel as welcome as we were.
E ery thing was good breakfast was realy good. And glen was realy knew places to go and things to do in the area which was help full.
The shower right in the room with no privacy did not like that.
The host and the breakfast were wonderful, the room very nice.
The bed was a little creaky.
Staff was great- food was great- very clean - room was fantastic
the only issue was the bed moved every time you moved which led to my waking up alot as my partner turned during the night but otherwise would recommend
Location Comfort Relaxing
Can't think of anything
We loved the house. Beautiful woodwork and beautifully decorated. Our hosts were friendly and accommodating. Overall, a great stay . We will return !
It was very cold weather. The room was cool. That was the only issue during our stay.
The hotel is unfortunattly not 5 stars hotel. There is nice personal, but the room is very small for two person. The bed was also very uncomfortable. The bathroom is not separate. The shower was in the room. You do not need expect the typical 5 stars hotel with swimming pool or nice big rooms. It is like a 3 stars house and nothing more. The price should be 60-70% less. In this case would be OK. But for the price we paid we were very disappointment. The brackfast was for 5 stars hotel very poor. We received some fruits, one muffin and a little bit eggs with pancake in one plate. It is not a buffet what is typical for good hotels Important- do not think you book 5 stars hotel. It is not true!!! It a small house with nothing!!!
We found everything to our liking from the accommodation to the yummy breakfasts to the friendly innkeepers.
