Comfortable bed. 10$ Food credit per day (just remember if your meal costs 9 dollars at the buffet and you include a tip of say 1 dollar, when you check out that 1 dollar is billed to you not the casino (just remember that).
Black Jack is played cards faced down, different rules, kind of strange, didn't really enjoy gambling here. If the cards are faced up then it is coming from an electric shoe which gives you worse odds. Also, they don't give out table chips at the membership area, only for slots (which if you know anything about gambling is a complete waste of time).
I was able to get a good deal for our stay, the room was clean, the king bed was very comfortable, and when we needed something, the staff were very helpful. Also, the WiFi was free in our room.
It was a busy time, and we had to drive around for sometime to find a parking space.
When you give a spwcial offer for the dya, all staff should know all the details. I.E free beer, said 100 points, then 300 pts unless you had a flyer , ask if other conditions, went to get our beer and was told it had to be by 8 p.m. 3 different people know one told us the whole story
Loved the price of the room and the bingo!
Size of casino, Ping Pang Pong, and sportsbook. Shuttle service to Orleans.
No refrigerator and no adequate fitness center.
Comfy bed....great shower
No place to take pets out
Nothing bad to say
I like the house buffet with all day dining at a reasonable price. In addition, there are other food choices from great Chinese food to fine dining. This hotel is a great value place to stay in an excellent location in Las Vegas close to all of the venues by car.
I would gamble elsewhere, the casino is a little dingy and funky. Every thing else at this hotel is a fine value and clean.
Free shuttle to the strip. Price was decent considering the busy week.
Strong smoke smell throughout. Booked double non smoking, but none available so ended up on smoking floor and the desk clerk was rather rude about it. Lost something under the bed and it was filthy! Tons of dust - so glad I didn't see it before I slept in the bed!
Price of food. Ideal for local bus or a free shuttle from the hotel to the Orleans or to the strip .stayed years ago. But went back .opposie the palms and the Rio would book again they have wi-fi in the room also not told 3 hot spots about the hotel
Free wi-fi . Free pool. Free gym. But they charge about $15 a night compulsory as a resort fee but this is the norm now To bring in the money.. The sun in nov does not get to the heated pool but u can lounge until 3pm with the sun.
Short transport from parking to rooms - compared to other hotels.
everything in general
cleaning need to be better
Shuttle available for free to take you to the strip. Friendly staff at check-in. Room was clean, but carpet had about had it.
The first room had an unbearable smell of Clorox and we had to change rooms. The view in one of our rooms was a parking lot and apartments. The other room was an ugly roof top. Rude pit boss who said that their sports book loyalty card had nothing to do with their table games and I would need a new card to get comps
They say they are Queen beds but they are very small, like a full or double size bed. Everything else was excellent!
Good location just off the strip. Easy access to local stores and freeways. Smaller property with friendly staff.
Poor selection of dining choices, buffet is average at best. The two Asian resturants have almost the same menu and the service at TGI Fridays is very poor. Really needs a cafe or fast food type service. Rooms are clean spacious and staff is friendly
Room has gone an big upgrade to its facilities. Beds very comfy and room was pretty overall. If they ask you if you'd like to be near the elevator, take it or expect to walk the LONG>>>LONG hallway to your room!
Light is terrible in the room if you want to read. Water is set to mid-warm so don't expect to get a shower above baby bath temp. The alarm went off in the middle of the night and keep going for 2 hrs. UGH! I actually was startled so bad I fell out of bed! Go to the Palms...much nicer place.
The rooms were clean and comfortable. Nice Casino and pool area. The price is good (sometimes) and the rooms very nice for what you pay. Have stayed before, will stay again!
The "Resort Fee" is a ripoff. Sure would be nice if Boyd Gaming would get the courage to break away from the pack and ditch this hidden fee. I wish they had a Poker Room. The bathroom doors are kind of weird...
Location is central to the strip, and right next to the freeway.
The hotel always seems to smell like cigarettes.
Convenient location to the Strip, good restaurants in the Casino, nice and updated look of the Casino.
Easy to get away from motel, good access to doors.
Had to pay extra for everything, no noise buffer between rooms, sliding door to bathroom that did not shut all the way smoke from casino was in the hallway. No fridge even in upgraded room, we did not want to pay $16.00 for movies.
Location and buffet
I really liked the gift shop and restaurants available in the hotel. The flat screen TV and wall art in my room was nice.
I didn't like the bathroom shower design, and my bed wasn't comfortable. The staff treated me like I was a homeless person (not cool)! Staff was not professional at all.
The MNF promotion, the Cortez room, the buffet, the price of rooms, the low resort fee
The layout of the room - coast casino hotels (with the exception of the sun coast) have a poor room layout - especially the positioning of the bathroom
Easy access to the pool, good eating places ,other hotels are nearby to visit , frequent shuttle bus to the strip, always a sunbed available and the jacuzzi was nice. Good value for money.
Would have prefered a bath and safety deposit boxes in the room.
Quiet and well equipt rooms.
Rude and ignorant staff.
