I will stay here for now on. Loved the room - 1 king suite, very nice
Location, free parking, cleanliness of room, DuPars restaurant
Tiny size of bathroom.
The valet was nice, secure and helpful.
Check your bill, not given rate. Cancelled reservation without any notifications. Overcharged reservation fees, overcharged resort fee, overcharged room rate. No cleanliness, semen on curtains, yellow head stain on pillows when arrived and after asked to wash linens. Room is no bigger then the queen bed, cannot open bathroom door while on toliet.
Was a room with a clean bed... had a working toilet and tp
attitude at check in.... no one to ans phone when I called asking for free parking lot info.... Free parking cost me to exit !!! so NOT free... Valet pking claimed free, WHERE is that noted ?.... room clock still on summer time... Will not stay here again !
The friendly staff at the reception ( the korean and the filipino young lady)
Casino Bar & OMG Dance Girls....all happenings are on finger tip distence...good bus access till 6pm
Noice of concerts on fremon street....buses diverted away from fremon street for light festival...
Comfy bed, good tv, nice staff
My room was so small I could barely change my mind in it! Shower stall sized for a midget! Room faced loud noisy band stage that started playing at 5pm and didn't quit until 2 am on a week night! Had to use closed captioning to watch tv! Hell hotel!!!
What I like about the Golden Gate it's quite I haven't run into noisy neighbors in fact I never see anyone in the halls or elevator the diner there is great.
Well this last time that I was there the rug was wet they didn't suggest that they would move me to another room and covered the area with a towel.
A good location only if you plan to go to Fremont Street until the end of the shows late in the night.
We had the smallest room we ever have (from any location). It had a view on a backstreet and trashes but the worst was still the noise... The windows were so slim that we had fremont street ambiance and beat inside the room. Without exaggerating, we heard all the music so loud and felt the floor shaking. This is definitely not the place to sleep well (unless if you sleep at 3:00 AM for the silence). In the morning, it is up to garbage trucks to wake you up... The smell in the hallway was quite disgusting, like cat litter. Resort fee price was also a joke for what we got.
Location. The historic athmosphere. You can feel in the air that this was the first in Vegas, which is good and bad.
There was some construction works under our window on the street so it was dirty and really noisy at night. It wouldnt be a problem if the guy at check in would warn me of this - he just asked if a street room is ok for us but did not highlighted the works. The room is fairly new but the bathroom is outdated, worn out. In-room checkout on the tv set is not working. The open air self parking is one block away.
Nice hotel, clean and modern. Nice casino!
It was too loud at night time you couldn't really get some rest!!! Never again!
The "manager" couldnt have been more than 20 years of age. My reservation got lost and I waited around for a half an hour until their company could find it from my booking agent.
Staff was awesome...hotel room was clean...walking distance to festival
Room and bathroom extremely tiny
Direkt on the fremont street.
It's right on the Fremont Street Experience. I like that the windows in the room actually open.
The paint in the bathtub was coming off in HUGE sheets. There are not nearly enough electrical outlets throughout the room (bring a power strip & extension cord). There was one electrical outlet in the bathroom on the opposite wall from the bathroom mirror. Our view (and smell) was a long line of dumpsters. The sound of a huge box of glass bottes being dumped into a dumpester woke me from a dead sleep). I wanted a double bedroom...got a queen bed (one bed). Had to use valet parking. No one...NO ONE...helped with getting our luggage in (those big luggage carts are not easy to maneuver when you don't know what you're doing). I would probably not stay here again unless it was DIRT CHEAP. Take me back to the Plaza!
Old building, no ac, smoke blowing in from vent(non smoking room), small room, had to squeeze into bathroom because toilet is in way of door. Staff didn't tell me valet was free for guests...I paid 40 bucks to park in garage.
1. Noise from construction. 2. Unexpected service charge. ※ Hotel charged me another $50 for some service fee which was not mentioned on website.
Resort fee over 20$ for night, which I found out during check in. I hate this kind of tricks for getting customers.
Room and view of wall
No Fridge A/C didn't work and was dirty Limited TV Chanels
Good hotel and location
Stay on the second floor, first floor is the casino with loud music. Shaking the room
I like it because its just a walk away from all the good stuff. I can watch the good night life through my bedroom window. The show, concert, live music and people walking back and forth having a good time in their lives. I will definitely come back.
They did'nt care about my reservation and told me to change the hotel
We liked the hotel we were transferred to, (The D). It is a newer hotel and casino that still has access to the Freemont Street experience.
The beds were lumpy, not too comfortable
Front desk, young girls dancing on tables
Room dusty, average maid service, shoeer could not be regulated, either cold or near scalding!!
