the bathroom looks worst than the ones in Istanbul.
Cable TV was out. Never restored during my stay.
Old style Vegas at its best.. 1freemont st. If that doesn't say it all!
Access to the Fremont Street experiences. Com parking,
I was stuck for an extra night for business and for the money was great
Parking no self parking and the rooms very outdated
The retro schtick is what attracted us to the hotel and it has some retro flavor but not really enough to overcome its shortcomings given that Vegas has such an abundance of cheap lodging.
Room and bed were tiny and not very clean.
Sleazy people around
had to get a fan from maid to help me sleep....thought for the money I would have a more modern room....paid almost 90 dollars!
Location was in downtown Las Vegas. The room was just right for my stay. Room was renovated w/modern furniture upgrades.
Bathroom still had old tiles, which may have been retained to keep that classic look. Hotel doesn't offer shuttle service.
the room was just as it was described on booking. Com very clean and very quiet very close to the everything that I needed I will definitely stay at this hotel again next time I go to Vegas
the only close parking is valet
Location adjacent to Freemont St.
Tiny bathroom, stubbing my toe on bathroom entrance step, long walk to elevator.
Free valet parking.
Everything was bad, the hall way was stinking, the room was nasty, and I could not wait for the night to be over, so I can run from there. The floors were shaky like the building was going to collapse one day. The so called free wifi will not allow me to connect to my servers and work. If you don't care about comfort then go there, but if you care about your comfort and clean air, run from this hotel. It's simply horrible, their Internet picture are deceitful. My son went into the bathroom to bath and the doors would not open I had to muster some energy to help him pull the door while he pushed it open, the water fussets would not work, hot/cold water everything was hot and would not mix for shower, I thought I would be burnt, I had to shut the water off. I have never written a single bad review for any hotel in my life but I feel like i need to speak out in this one maybe it will help someone. I'm sorry I have to be true to myself and maybe save someone a bad day.
Location and proximity to fremont and some of the historic casinos, parking ease/free valet, room was modern and had a cool view over main street...
For an old downtown hotel there was nothing to dislike really...
Staff was very friendly and helpful. Casino was nice.
We had no TV from 8:30 PM on and it was the smallest room we ever stayed in, in our lives. We had one electrical outlet available for the whole room and NONE in the Bathroom. Stayed at the D the prior weekend and loved it and they are Sister Properties?
it is an historical hotel with a relatively embarrassing presence. It is easy to access, near to the Las Vegas premium outlets. With only one bus, it can go to anywhere. Besides, the price is unbelievably cheap and a good choice for youngs.
bed was very comfortable, for me alone the size of the room was good, very helpful staff, pretty organized
View, all smoking area in the casino, loudy at night (not unaspected), hot at the valet while you are waiting for your car
Close proximity to Fremont street.
Televisions did not work.
The couldn't find my reservation so I had to wait in the lobby o while
Loved the old school feel with the modern upgrades.
Great Location on the doorstep of Freemont St (Old Las Vegas). Very good value even with the extras.
Bookings.com showed two beds - the room only had one so we had to pay a supplement.
Staff were exceptional
Bathroom shower needs to be redone. Still has tile from the 70's or earlier and grout had mold/mildew in spots.
I love the casino and dupars.
Our room was on Fremont street. I expected the noise but we couldn't open the curtains to our room because the male employees for the zip line were about 20 ft away at eye level. Also, the water the first morning was scalding hot or freezing cold. We couldn't regulate it. The second day it was ok.
Customer service was excellent!
Mainly the bathroom: The shower stall. No bathtub. The bathroom is quite small.
Location...staff...casino...the music track that played, etc...
A pool would have been nice
They charge a resort fee 22.50 that covers phone calls and WiFi ..I already have that with cell phone. It also covers 10 dollars off shows and I don't need that. Its a manitory fee so why not add with price of room.
