The Hotel is a very good value and is located on Fremont Street and in the evening there live music and great little bars.
Because the Hotel is such a good value the coffee in the room cost $10 and there is no wifi.
Valet was excellent. Always courteous even though very busy.
Construction above us started early (5:00am). Sounded like tile cutting or something of that sort. Moved to another floor and much better.
Annoying voice recording blaring in the elevator each time we rode it. There's plenty of advertising in and around the elevators, but the added recording was too much and too loud.
Dollar value was excellent for room rates thanks to Booking.com. Room was missing comp robes on check-in but after a call, arrived within 20 minutes.
The room safe needed servicing (new battery??) and the problem was reported to front desk but never repaired.
The old Las Vegas is the way to go on expensive new Vegas weekend, we had a blast people on the street is very friendly with such party spirit there are a lot of street performers and at the end of the night there was a great rock band playing the hotel is great a lot of tables great pool and very nice staff
My wife and I had a very good time. We came there at the wrong time. It was a Rodeo convention. Not our style! But everything else was good.
Poor internet and paying for room coffee! No in room refrigerator.
I love the location. Fremont Street is always alive with entertainment and city buses run every 15 minutes to the strip if you want to go there. Golden Nugget staff are attentive and helpful. The restaurants and entertainment are great as well.
The bed was amazingly comfortable!
The bathtub didn't drain quickly when showering so consequently I was standing in a puddle of soaping water when I took a shower. Additionally there was a baby bottle on the floor under the bed from a previous guest as we have no young children and that bottle didn't belong to us!
The new Claim jumper restaurant in the hotel
The Starbucks in the hotel, out of everything. Also road construction on main very noisy.
I loved the atmosphere and the friendly service. I was able to rent a wheelchair and get around. The food in all of the restaurants was supberb. The beds were very comfortable and the ease of parking made it an effortless trip.
I liked everything
Loved the location of the hotel and that the pool was open when most other hotel pools were shut down. We went down the water slide at least five times. Very cool.
Our t.v. didn't work in the room but we were barely in there so that was fine enough. Also, $10 for four coffee pods is ridiculous. But at least there was a Starbucks in the lobbey - which you can get five coffees there for the price of four coffee pods in room.
Television did not work. Housekeeping said they would send someone up to fix but never did
The whole atmosphere of the interior facilities.
the charges for the use of WiFi. Also, my spouse have some disabilities and our room was too far from elevators.
The staff was excellent and more than accommodating. Spacious well appointed whistle-clean room.
I liked everything at this hotel and would definitely stay at the Golden Nugget again.
They gave us an upgrade for no extra cost to the new Rush Tower
Great experience and a welcomed surprise for our stay. This is a hotel we would come back to in the future.
The bathroom light could be seen through the bathroom 'iridescent' or plexi-like door which made the room unnecessarily bright in the middle of the night/early morning.
Very good attention
The wifi Internet is so expensive 14.99 per day
Price, comfortable bed, free and efficient valet parking.
Sleazy location, terrible food, weirdo delivered room service.
Great downtown location. Casino had lots of action all night. No wait for cabs. Right on the Fremont Experience.
Room had some nice new touches, but it was old. Carpet was way too old. Room smelled awful. When I got there, there was a use wash cloth hanging on the shower rod, an old bobby pin on the nightstand and the fire alarm was disconnected. If it was only one of those things I could let it slide, this was too much.
Walk to elevator
well appointed rooms, clean, comfortable, a bit dated, but overall a great experience.
Lack of a fridge in the room.
Nice rooms pleasent staff great hotel for the price, a great value
loud. lots of bass
overall is a nice hotel. probably the nicest hotel downtown las vegas. the staff was nice.
first room- a/c didn't work and very far from elevator (far walk). second room- no desk in room and outlet for computer too far to work on bed.
Fremont street is fun
Bartenders where bad
