Clean quiet rooms.
The bed could have been a little more comfortable.
They should give you a redemption book for discounts on food and gambling in house.
Most staff courteous and helpful. Good room service.
Always a long queue at reception with few staff to help. You have to pay for water and coffee in cheaper rooms $4 for small bottle of water and $10 for 4 coffee pods.
Downtown location. Ease of check-in. Good-sized rooms.
No free wifi.
The shark tank was amazing!! Great location, close to a ton of fun things to do!
The golden nugget was clean and in a convenient location for a laid back Vegas vacation. Downtown was perfect for our vacation with three kids we still went to the main strip but it was too busy to stay on that side, downtown was more our pace and the golden nugget was(in my opinion) the nicest hotel in downtown. The pool was absolutely awesome and fun with the kids..loved it!
The hotel was very nice and clean. I loved the staff. Their friendly and professional. They took care of our every need.
I did not have a bad experience.
The resort Fees..WT
One employee by the name Chris calmed me down about the whole situation. He comped my room 50 dollars for food. When checking out he rembered me and asked how my stay was and was very apoligetic. He was the only staff there that was kinda and understanding.
They gave my room to someone else even though I called ahead to say I was going to be late. When I got there they up graded me to a suite for the same price as the room I reserved. When I got to my room and settled in I checked my bank account and they charged me 748 dollars to my account all my money. I went down and complained and had the worst expierence ever. Basically they told me theres nothing they could do but release the money that wouldn't come back till the weekdays. I had no money to do anything I couldn't eat or go have fun. I couldn't just pick up and go home because I carpooled with others and they weren't leaving till Sunday. Worst expierence ever safe to say I will not be going back.
We traveled 26 HOURS, from Chicago to get there, so you can imagine our exhaustion, check in time was suppose to be 3pm, our room WAS NOT ready till 11PM!! Toured exhausted, dying for a shower and our room WAS NOT ready, VERY disappointing!!!
Loved the pool area with slide thru shark aquarium. The other dining with large aquarium. Awesome buffet and best location. Nice spa for getting hair done up
Didn't win any money
There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom sink. The staff did get rid of it after a few attempts.
Liked our view of pool and mountains
smoke smell permeates the entire property
My dad is visiting first time United States He has asthma and I booked non smoking room with two beds. But then we got there the Front desk lady said the only one left for me is smoking room with two beds:( Also this is not the first time that happening for me with booking.com. What is the point of asking : do you want smoking or non-smoking room? If you will end up in whatever room is left. Not cool....
Convenient and off the strip!
Still waiting for my payment receipt to be sent. I have requested it three times. Staff is nice but rushed.
The staff was very accommodating!
Had trouble using Wi fi
Location to downtown experience, friendly help.
Rusty tub bottom, high smoke concentration even in buffet area.
Location. Fremont St is a lot fun.
It wasn't until we had checked in and went to the fitness center to workout that I learned that there is an extra "resort fee" for anyone that wants to use their fitness center. It was going to be $25/day to workout, which at 4 days is more than I pay for my monthly gym membership. Ridiculous. Just get a 45 minute workout in. Also, they have winter hours on their fantastic pool which means that they kick everyone out of the water at 4pm. This would make since if wasn't heated but it is. Why have a heated pool and then still have "winter hours"? Again, ridiculous. Bad decisions by hotel management all around... This is my first bad review for anything.
The location, Fremont is a fun place and there is a lot to do. The pool was great, a lot of food choices.
that they didn't have complimentary coffee or Wi-Fi and the ventilation isn't very good because the smoke gave me a bad headache. They could use some better pillows!!
the staff was friendly, informative and helpful. the public areas were very clean.
toilet didn't work right. The bathtub wouldn't drain when we arrived. No bathtub stopper. Too far from the casinos and fremont st.
The fish tanks are great.
The fact there was holes in the bed and the phone didnt work. And they never came to replace it after 3 days stay there. Not worth all the money we spent
The convenience of parking
Had to spend extra time at checkout getting prepaid amount deducted from the bill and the fees were more than quoted.
Nothing special !
2 times talking to staff about stopped washbasin we stay in 6 days and nothing to be done ! Internet you have to pay 20 dollars for (including resortfee at day) was down 2 times ! Safe in room was only for coins, not even space for anything else ! I always book on booking.com and have many bookings every year ! But over my last 5 years this was not value for money.
