I like the customer service.
The refrigerator didn't work.
Location and staff attention.
People smoke and drink alcoholic beverage at pool when children are present. cockroach in the AC and carpet need be washed!
Great location. Easy access to trolley, inexpensive restaurants and gas stations. Very quiet at night. Pool is clean and a nice size. Excellent for the price.
Room was small and showed its age. All bedding, including mattress needs to be replaced,
Not a bad location, the view from my balcony was great.Staff was great with early check in loved that.
The only problem that I seen were ROACHES. Not good
The cost and proximity to the beaches were amazing. Right next door to a strip club! Next time I'll leave my kids at home lol.
Cockroaches in my room. Luckily the kids didn't see them until the day we left. You get what you pay for and this place is cheap.
Parking and the staff was very nice.d
People was hunting out their room drinking and smoking marijuana so I had to check out the next day and find another hotel
Shower pressure & location
BUGS! Nasty sheets & towels. Tons of stains on the floor & furniture.
Staff was nice, room was located in front of pool area making it comfortable for big kids to go back to the room while hanging out in the pool. price was cheaper then most other places in san diego. It didnt feel like an unsafe place to be. parking was not a problem.
The room had a musty odor. muggy not fresh. then when you turned on the big old dinosaur vent/cooler it smelled like an a/c in your car when it hasnt been used very much. we came home with rash around our necks and face. im not sure what caused that. maybe it was the soap who knows.
The location close to just about everything.
The first room had bed bugs ..The second room had mold..my granddaughter is irritated from the bites and rash she has now..they only reimbursed me :$22.00 I called and asked if the manager could call me back. .But I'm still waiting. ...Would not recommend this spot to no one. I have been there before and had no problems..usually it's a clean place..just had this first real bad experience this time..Thank you.
the hotel room had roaches and worms and the cleaning staff were very nasty towards us customers the cable tv was wack no channels at all overall we had a poor stay their
hassle free booking, afforable room rate, check-in process was quick and easy; Room as advertised.
The hotel sign was on the wrong parking lot;
Location: next to freeways & not too far from downtown. The rate.
Location: next to "Eye Candy" strip joint. Anthony's restaurant closed & so did El Torrito.
Location, Staff, Comfort.
The WI FI connection was extremely slow to the point of being unusable. Certainly not worth the $5.00 per day access fee the hotel charges. Your better off driving to a Starbucks, and that's free.
Excellent value for money. Reasonably close to amenities & beaches. Friendly staff. Good pool.
Very noisy air conditioning and fridge.
room was roach infested and shower was sloooooww to drain.
There is everything around entertainment there is a night club .restaurants.stores .the hotel its in a really good site.
They had a pool. It was cheap enough and not far from SeaWorld.
Our family in the adjacent room caught roaches and their toilet clog. They didn't have a pleasant experience. Also, you have to ask for a fridge. Really?
good location, room was clean but a bit outdated, but good for the low end dollar...
They advertise free wifi then you get there and they want $4.95, no a big charge, but why advertise something for free?
far away from everything, but a trolley stop is right across the highway, gets you downtown in 20 minutes. immediate highway access gives you a cab fare of ~30$ to downtown. very friendly, professional and helpful front desk staff competitive price
chula vista is a streetcar suburb, with nothing much there thin walls, you hear neighbors or kids by the pool, and traffic right next to train tracks and highway no free wifi, no breakfast (not even in the immediate vicinity), no water boiler
Location is near by all the shopping and museum parks
Hotel/motel is very old, moles on the walls. The spring on the bed got worn out, everytime, when my husband turn or move, the bed "shook" me up.
It is right next to a strip club - not appealing. I am familiar with this area of San Diego & understand it's makeup but it was upsetting to pull into the parking space near my room & see a nudie bar within shouting distance - I would not stay here again nor will I recommend it to anyone, even though it was a great value
Room is spacious and clean. There is a pool that we enjoyed a lot. Location was good but not great.
No internet in the room. Had to pay for it.
- it's near the trolley
- carpet beetles in the room
Your location is excellent; a 5-minute walk to the MTS trolley station making easy access to the San Diego area. That alone makes the locale very desirable for out-of-towners. First time service at the desk was great - desk was attentive, but slightly slow during busy times. Having a working fridge is also a wonderful thing to have during the summer; kudos to you guys.
As a traveler, I expect my room to be tidy and ready before I arrive. Walking in, there were not enough towels in the room for my party. Also, my party found a half-eaten roll of bread and an empty cereal box under the beds. We also found what appeared to be roaches as well as carpet beatles. Large stains were present on the bedsheets. While I did write positively about being close to a station, this place must remember that it is also NEXT to a STRIP CLUB. After changing rooms, similar conditions were found in the other room. Inquiring again for reduced pricing or another room, we were turned away with the words, "perhaps this place is not for you." With an attitude like that, good luck trying to get returning patrons. I personally will not be returning and recommend other patrons DO NOT BOOK this location; I haven't written a report to the health inspector, but that may or may not be my next course of action.
