Excellent location. Close to restaurants, beach and everything. Front desk staff was very polite and friendly. Room is decent inside.
Carpet looked a little nasty. No microwave in the property.
Excellent customer service...great room
Thought there was free breakfast but only coffee and tea...thought wifi was free but in tiny letters it said "fees may apply"
I liked the price and the staff was helpful
No free WIFI
Priced very well for accommodations
My WiFi that I paid for did not work
After driving 7hrs from Phoenix. I was denied my reservation. That's policy the very rude manager informed me. Booking. com is not at fault.
we love the location, close to sea world, old town, mission bay and also has I-5 and I-8 entrances nearby.
Easy to check in.
The fact that we over slept and seemed like a huge problem to give us time to gather our things and get out!
Personnel was great
Unable for my kids and husband to sleep a lit if partiers in this hote. Management only said sorry.
The only thing I liked was the location.
I had a bad experience in this motel. They have rude and unwelcoming staff. A receptionist called me a liar because the room key didn't work! I talked to the general manager and he seemed fine with it. He didn't care.
Parking space is too narrow
The staff was very friendly and professional. He was very helpful by printing directions for to the places we needed to go for the wedding.
There was an event going on in town and some of the guests were loud outside of our room as they returned from the event in the wee hours of the morning. I know there is nothing you can do about that. That really is my only complaint.
The rooms are furnished very nicely for what it looks like from the outside.
Front Desk guy (didnt get his name) was a complete @$$hole. He automatically assumed i was going to be a bad customer before i opened my mouth. Weird...i didnt make any noise, i just wanted to sleep.
Facility wise they can do a lot better. Sheeting, beds, etc. Relative to the 4 other 2-stars I stayed in, they seem like a 1-star.
The room is clean and equiped. Good value for the money.
The location is not good for familiy trips, too close from night clubs and storage buildings
Booked on line. Very good value. Convenient location.
Weak wifi. Could not connect this visit and the visit before.
rooms quite large and comfortable
Room was ready on arrival. Friendly staff. Room was clean...NO bedbugs..a little worn but fine for an overnight stay. Quiet. 24 hr Dennys next door.
No coffee maker. Poor water pressure..would recommend a new showerhead..oxygenics makes a good one.
It was nice and warm.
awesome staff comfortable bed for the price
only thing that bothered me was that I left an item at the inn. when i called regarding the item, the front desk told me that a manager would get back to me in 3 days about it, and i never heard back.
staff and locality is good, very near to all the tourist places
waste of paying 5$ for wifi, unable to open the even email
The price The location
The bed Some of the staff was a bit rude when I asked to check in early (45 minutes early)
Not warm enough, not informed of wifi code
The set up was good for the money.
The sink was partially clogged. There was a mini fridge but no microwave. The bed still had the shipping plastics on it. The sheets were like sand paper. Most likely 100 to 150 thread count. They charge you a $25 dollar deposit fee. Still waiting to get that back. Not going to be happy if I have to call about it.
Decent price and location.
This motel is a disappointment on many levels: 1) Many of the staff are badly trained and apathetic; 2) The furniture, rugs, TVs, and mini refrigerators (which freeze everything regardless of the setting) are cheap and worn out; 3) The wi-fi connections are terrible; and 4) The manager (apparently recently hired) is a disaster. On each of our last two stays he has shown up at our room to insist on an explanation for a simple room or reservation change. The first time he did not bother to check the information left by the night staff, and on the second occasion he arrived with the wrong information and proceeded to engage in various erroneous accusations, coupled with abrupt demands for clarification. There was nothing subtle, respectful, or refined about his approach, and it took nearly fifteen minutes (of a heated and very unpleasant exchange) for him to finally understand and accept the fact that he had the wrong information and that our room and reservation were perfectly valid. One might expect such crude behavior from the manager of a trailer park but not a large corporate motel, and the entire episode was wholly unnecessary and unprofessional. Never again will I stay at this increasingly diminished establishment, a decision that apparently many others have arrived at as well, judging from the many other recent negative reviews.....
