It is close to the downtown part of San Francisco and the Moscone Center for conventions. The cost was competitive with other hotels and motels in the area. The windows are difficult to open and close and the room was steam heated and the temperature was hard to adjust. |

Clean and very affordable. Very cool staff. I'd stay again. You have to request a room with a view twice. Oh and the location is just a tad on the other side of the tracks, but other that the occasional inquiry for a dollar, no one really bothers you. |

Convenient location in SoMa area. Clean, well-appointed room. Reasonable price for this area. The internet connection was not functional, due to high demand and extremely low bandwidth. This appeared to be the normal state of affairs for the hotel. I hope they correct this problem, because otherwise it is a very nice hotel for the money. |

it was unique with quality furnature and a brilliant ethos. rooms were very well decorated and very innotive the location although being ideal for me, would be extremely off putting for most guests, and as a result i probably would book somewhere else in the city next time. the area is very run down and fells unsafe both in the day and especially at night. |

Socially aware aspect of the hotel. Free wireless internet. Near public transport. Room was quite small. There was a strange smell in the hallway. There was a noisy air con outside our window and the area that the hotel was located in was not very nice. There were a lot of homeless people hanging around the area and it did not feel very safe at night. |

Eco-conscious, friendly, hip, clean the heater did not work. It was loud outside esp. in the morning when staff would yell to each other. They could seal the doors and windows better to prevent noise and heat loss. Also there was only one way out, the door. |

I like the "young feeling" of this hotel. It is located quite near to the city center, with respect to the cost of the room. A friend of mine had problem because of the phone charges. He knew the cost of calling Ireland from USA and he knew that usually hotel add a % to that cost, but at the end of the week the phone charge was absolutely huge, to huge. |

only location. 1.Room was not clean. There were some hairs in the bathtub, which was disgusting. 2.Towels were not supplied one day, so I called the front desk. He said that he would bring them to our room, but he never showed up. 3.Although the check-in time was 3:00pm, we had to wait for 30 min until the room was ready. 4. Most staff was not efficient and professional. Especially the mexican girl working in the reception was rude. She didn't seem to know the words "Thank you" and "Sorry". |

The room appears very nice and spacious on the website but it is actually quite small. The pillow is a killer, i have very bad neckache the next day. The surrounding area of the hotel is filled with drug peddlers and beggars. Very filthy streets around as well, definitely not recommeded for young and single travellers. |

we liked the "green" aspect of the hotel and the cleanliness. Although it was not in a great area of town, it was close to public transit which allowed us to park our vehicle and not drive for the duration of our visit. |
