The view from our patio was gorgeous. We were able to watch a beautiful sunrise. The room was very comfortable and the colors and decor was pleasant and appropriate for Monument Valley.
Room was very dated and in need of renovation.
Friendly, clean and perfect location.
The only one restaurante around close at 9,30pm and there is no wine or beer available
Very comfortable beds and clean room. The view of monumental valley at sunrise and sunset is incredible because all rooms have a nice view with balcony to enjoy
The cinema was locked the 2 days we were there.
Rooms were affordable, clean and spacious. There was a fridge and coffee making facilities,so having a snack and afternoon tea was handy. It was 5 minutes drive into MV. There are a few walks around the Lodge but didn't know of them until the day we were leaving - there wasn't any signs but it was on one of the many pieces of paper given.
Difficult to find in the night as the private road name was not in our road navigator,.. In daylight time you can see the signboards easy.
Perfect sunrise view from the room!
Not a major issue. However, staff could smile a bit more.
Convenience of on site restaurant which was good value.
We booked one of their deluxe trips which was not cheap and were unhappy that they wanted to cram 20 people into a small tour bus. Eventually Gouldings provided another driver and we were able to see Monument Valley in comfort.
Comfortable accommodation. Good restaurant on site. Swimming pool.
Way too far from the skybridge and the Grand Canyon. 2.5 Hours away !!!! And the loud train going by all day and all night was awful. But they offer free ear buds. Are you kidding me!!
The view!! (Especially from the balcony) Lovely, helpful & efficient staff Wonderful room (I was upgraded to a suite with a HUGE balcony & a full kitchen) Wifi - fast and reliable.
The location was great. We had a wonderful view from our room. We enjoyed the patio.
No microwave or safe in room.
Staff was extremly friendly, we appreciate the fact that employees were American Natives.
For people with disabilities, an elevator or some sort of conveyance to the restaurant would be helpful.
Spectacular view with comfy accommodation.
Everyone very helpful & Friendly.
Pillows too thick and high and firm. Could not rest well. Had to remove them and sleep without a pillow.
Everything except the sleeping pillows.
The views, the room and museum explaining the history of the Gouldings. Very interesting if you love the West!
Good rooms with a view of Monument Valley and nice food. Also the tour guide, Larry, was excellent and even sang us a Navajo song.
Water temp in shower impossible to adjust.at least we had water. The Navajo have to jail water.
Clean rooms congenial staff and very nostalgic also the view at sunrise is also magnificent to say the least. If you stayed for a week the sunrise. Will be slightly different every every morning.
Wifi was sketchy and vending services were basically non-existent. We arrived late, but really needed a drink and a snack.
Arguably the best views in the country
Everything was perfect
Everything! The view from our room had to be seen to be believed! The hotel was steeped in history, all the staff very professional and courteous. We would have loved to have stayed another day and would therefore highly recommend it
Decent navajo based restaurant food, nice balcony views, short distance to Monument Valley, tours offered from 56$ pP departing from the lodge, free evening movies and gift shop
Good was ok but expensive for what it is. There isn't much option though as there is not much else around!
Beautiful view from the balcony and a very short distance from the Monument.
