Great location. Great staff. Great price.
Bathroom needs update - tub takes 30 min to drain and toilet is flushing about 6 gal. Of water but you have to hold the flusher for 15 sec. Sink is all shipped and poorly repaired.
The view from the 8th floor balcony
The continental breakfast was very good. We stayed at four other places on this trip, and it was by far the best. A nice trail by the lake just two blocks away was a definite plus.
The Morning front desk agent needs to go through customer training again. We had trouble with pricing and information not being delivered to the governors system.
Hotel was clean and close to everything downtown. Night front desk agent was very helpful.
My room had not been properly cleaned. When I started to settle in, I realized the bathroom was filthy. I liked the view of the park, but the street noise was a bit much.
Walking distance to the places I wanted to eat, drink, shop, and visit. The hotel manager was awesome! He was funny and friendly and took great care of us, upgrading is immediately whrn there was a problem with our room.
Breakfast was included, but nothing but bread/waffles to eat for a vegetarian. Only egg choice had ham.
Quiet rooms despite the school athletes who were also staying there.
Had to change rooms due to toilet running non stop in first rim. One of the elevators didn't work, but the maintenance was working on it, even at 10 at night.
Check in was quick and courteous. The room was immaculate from what we could see. Breakfast was tasty. Staff was extremely helpful and accommodating.
There was a mix-up on the booking of my room, and I didn't get the room I requested. But the manager upgraded me to a nicer suite, which was nice. The facility is rough around the edges. The fridge was warm. The tub didn't drain properly. It was a big noisy on the street side of the hotel. TV reception was snowy. Elevators were painfully slow. This building needs renovation soon!
The king size bed was very comfortable. And the views of the old and new capitol buildings (and surrounding area) were nice. The complimentary breakfast was tasty. For those of you who want to be close to shops, restaurants, bars and the government buildings nearby will like this location.
Mold on tub walls. Pool and excercise room not available. No notice given at time of reservation.
Central to Capitol Lake Park, Capitol Bldgs, and downtown.
The only real downside was that there was no way to turn on a fan in the room without it blowing hot air. Even when moved over to cool on the thermostat it still blew hot air. Front desk did not have an answer as to why it was doing that.
The location is both good and bad. Close to OSPI building and nice shops. Bad because there are a lot of homeless in the area and I did not feel safe being out after dark which meant I was confined to my room.
Beautiful view from our room on the 5th floor!
Staff, internet, location, breakfast
Excellent location good value
no newspaper at breakfast. wifi was insufficient in the dining area to catch up on news during breakfast. breakfast was unimpressive--mixed ham in with eggs, unable to eat them. tea water was cold.
location, room size, attentive staff
This hotel is in need of a good day(s) of repairs. After check in, the first thing you see when you enter the elevator on the back wall the floor trim trim had several cracks and a big hole. Mid wall where the hand rail is, some sort of filth that needs to be whipped off. We stayed in room 809, with many issues in the bathroom, the tub faucet had a constant drip, the tiolet was not mounted to the floor properly, the shower wall had a tear in the surround and many scuffs in the paint on the walls. The floors Ice maker was not working, when calling the front desk the room phone did not work, so I called from a cell phone, of which the front desk knew the ice machine wasn't working. It would have been nice for them to mention this at check in and let you know they are prepared to make other arrangements, such as bringing it to your room. It seems as if they may be a little understaffed and in need of check lists for the house keeping and maintenance staff.
The loctaion is great. The staff, what little there seem to be was freindly and made attemps to be accomidating.
Remodeling the breakfast zone... No real issue waffles were still good
Comfortable bed in a good location for my needs
Where the fridge was located...very unstable. The bed & TV layout was not a good "feel"
Advertising a capitol view was a stretch...could barely see the dome through the trees.
Location to Washington center was good.lake view nice A bit disappointed with breakfast and room was extremely cold
Booked suite for daughters engagement celebration. King suite was not a suite and a bit creepy- we felt embarrassed No HD TV and channel selection was bad When we checked out we got a grunt not how was your stay? Although night check in was ok
Clean with great location . We heard it had just been sold and upgrades were coming.
Our view was great!
We loved the view of the Sound and of the Capital building from our window. We were in close walking distance for browsing and eating.
bathtub was chipping which meant no bath hole in desk chair very noisy
