Governors Inn Hotel Sacramento    

I was not told when arrived on train they had courtisy shuttle to pick me up I used a cab, when I I arrived was told hot tub had been broke for a week and had not Been fixed yet.

Close to downtown attractions.

Accessing hotel is complicated.

they had a lounge chair for my husband to sleep in. He has congestive heart failure and needs to sleep sitting up.

It was very clean and the staff were friendly and efficient.

The bed was pretty uncomfortable -too hard.

Very clean. Great decor. Friendly staff. Fantastic hotel especially for the price. Will definitely use the governors inn the next time I stay in Sacramento.

We had some insects in bad. Something so little dark, hardly moving. We had iching after sleep in your bad, on sholders and legs. I report to front dask after check out, nobady response what hapened even I left my call phone for answer.

I was impressed by the attendant who did everything she could to solve a problem for me. The photos do not convey the elegance of this hotel. Everything is spotless and looks/is new. The feel is amazingly upscale.

The hotel was excellent - very impressed. We attended a Youth Conference and the location was excellent. Whenever we need to attend something at the Arco, we will definitely consider staying at the Governor's Inn.

I liked how clean the rooms were. The little details like how toilet paper was folded. I like the fan/light, microwave and refridge in room.

Not enough resturants around the area, but nothing wrong with hotel.

It was value for money. Our stay was just one night so it was fine. The breakfast was fine.

The toilet exhaust did not work and despite repeated requests they did not repair it. The staff to that extent was impolite.The ac did not work properly.

Very happy staying here. Good price, comfortable bed, and friendly staff.

The only accessible rooms are about two blocks from the lobby and breakfast room. Almost impossible for a person walking with a cane or crunches. Additionally, they blocked off the handicapped parking at the far end of the motel. They would remove it for us if we called as we were driving in, but it was most inconvenient.

The cleanliness in the room very impressive, quality of furniture excellent...very comfortable...my 3 year old daughter was very impressed with the entire room

The staff will need be more friendly, they are kind of static, nothing wrong but the could be like good morning, afternoon how was your stay with us today, ...I check out at about 9:30 ...my daughter wants some milk, the guy there, rush to us saying we done at 9:am. I will say, I'm sorry we only serve up untill 9am but if I can help you with what I still have available let know...not just rush us to leave

Another wonderful stay at the Governor's Inn. Excellent staff, impeccably clean room. Comfortable bed and great linens. Large rooms. Great flat screens. Thanks to George, Heiner, Sarah, Gennetta, Hope, Toni, Pang, and everyone else I missed for a great stay.

I wish their breakfast would offer hot food, like eggs, hashbrowns, skillet potatoes - owner should put in a real kitchen so this stuff can be made. Owner needs to consider profit sharing and/or employee ownership to ensure he retains this staff and management. They are excellent.

The beds are good and the room is big enough. Staff is friendly and I especially liked the free coffee/tea in the lobby.

Even in the quiet rooms, still the noise of the freeway can be heard. Some rooms have very out-of-date heaters/airco-units that make a lot of noise. Hotel makes use of locks/card readers that seem to have been proven to be vulnerable to manipulation.

Wonderfully friendly staff....super clean rooms....great breakfasts, I'm actually trying the Hawthorne Suites just down the street for my week here in Sacramento, and so far, I'm wishing I was back at the Governors Inn....rooms here are dirty and have tons of damage.....stick with Governor's Inn if you plan to stay in this area.

wifi is pretty slow, mayor needs to stop encouraging the homeless to relocate to the area - its not safe to go out at night.....wish they'd have frequent stayer's bonus

Hiner, Hope, George, Genetta, Sarah, Michael, Pang.....excellent service....each really cares about their jobs and guests.....each appears to almost consider the hotel their own.....if your facility is employee owned, it shows, if it isn't, you should consider giving partial ownership and profit sharing to the staff to ensure their high morale, loyalty, and quality service to guests doesnt end...this is truely a unique place to stay

WiFi speeds could be much better....even in areas where the signal is excellent, the speeds are average at best.....

Very accessible from the freeway. Appears to be an older hotel, however, it looks like it was newly remodeled and is very nice. I was pleasantly surprised to find how nice this hotel was, especially for the budget friendly price that I paid for the room.

Excellent staff - Michael, George, Genetta, Hope, Pang, Sarah - all very friendly and really seem to care about their job....each appears to have a sense of ownership for the hotel....rooms are super clean....flat screens are wonderful.....Genetta does an excellent job with breakfast each morning.....dining area is also kept extremely clean and the food is always very fresh.....lastly, coffee they serve is superb!!!

It's nothing the hotel can help, but there are a ton of transients milling around outside the grounds of the hotel....avoid going out after dark.....wifi could be faster
