Nice room great location
We were running late for a function- We were put in the wrong room then had to be moved which made us later. were only there for the night they should have just left us
Outstandoing driendly wrgice great new decor and delicious food
Great re-do of rooms! Super quiet.
Staff were friendly and room decor is funky. Bed comfortable and bathroom adequate.
Was not informed that place under renovation. Reno noises, no access to pool, scaffolding ruined what could be an excellent view, room had no bedside tables or alarm clock, vending machine out of order, woken by smoke alarm (presume due to work going on). No coffee facilities in room. Would be worth the money if all Reno's complete
Front desk and bellman
Room-smell - room - service - carpets - linen all poor.
I liked the style of the hotel, the staff, the pool and the location
I didn't like the value charged for parking.
The pool and size of the room
The lobby bar and restaurent were excellent and completely the opposite of the hotel rooms altogether
The room was small low cielings poorly decorated and smelled very bad. They also put us next to a contstruction site and was very noisy .
Fire alerm rang at 3:00 am to all entire hotel because of fail of device. I was not pleased at all. I stayed 3 nights and always upstairs or downstairs room is loud at night.
Very good location. Hop on hop off bus is opposite the hotel. The restaurant is very good.
The bar was nice
The water leaking into the room from the kitchen
Air conditioner in room made loud rattling noises all night. It would shut off and turn on with a loud bang waking me up every 10 minutes. Wifi was so slow it was useless. Room had a strange bad odor.
What was there to like, how disappointing our stay at the Grafton was, after holidaying for a month staying at a total of eight hotels we finished our holiday at the Grafton and were made to feel like an inconvenience, during our six night stay our room was serviced on our request, resulting in our having to ask for toilet paper as there was none, the bathroom was not touched and only two fresh towels were provided for a party of four (face washers not included). On one of our last night's at the Grafton drinks beside the pool had to be cancelled as a private pool party was on, which would have been fine if guests were notified. The morning after the pool party I had my morning coffee poolside surrounded by cigarette butts and dirty glasses. I have never ever stayed in a hotel where I was made to feel like a second class citizen till the Grafton. We left the hotel a night early as my family and I wanted to leave LA on a good note and our time to valuable to waste on a service provider that clearly didn't believe that we were entitled to it.
This hotel does not live up to its reputation as a stellar "botique hotel"-- it smelled of smoke, had dirty floors, and zero expertise and friendliness at the reception staff desk. It should have been a third the price for the quality.
I liked the fact the hotel was very central and in the evenings is easy to walk and find nice places to go to
I did not like the fact that I had to pay a lot for telephone calls from the hotel: it is better to purchase a telephone card (I find out later) which gives 100 minutes of calls for as little as $10 The hotel staff did not inform us of such a thing
Some facilities may need a bit of an upgrade.
The look, feel and smell of the rooms and hallway on level one
Pool Wifi Supplied Coffee in morning Ice machine Upgraded us to Poolside room Taxi rank directly out front
Staff charged my credit card incorrectly Staff directed us to room in which people were still staying in Staff did not take us to next room
Location, interior design, restaurant, attentive staff and nice pool.
Ceiling and walls a little thin.
Staff, location, pool. Nice new restaurant and bar.
Lack of sunbeds (6 in total). Bar prices.
Great location, the room was clean and nice, each floor has frit water and coffee during the day, a nice touch.
A/C was a bit old and noisy, valet car parking at $32 a night is something you should be aware of.
Great stay, friendly staff, all was well. The pool got crowed at times but nothing to really complain about. Excavations next door were a let down as there was so much noise coming through the room.
The bathroom was quite small and had a few insects from next doors excavations. Otherwise nothing else was wrong.
Bed was comfortable. Location was good. Service was pleasant.
It was a messy construction site. All of the hallway rugs looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months. The ac unit in my room was noisy and dirty. Bathroom was also not really clean. Everything felt tired and old. It was fine. I was there one night. But it was just ok overall.
very dirty, old, smelly. requested change from booking.com but no time to do. we changed room which was better but still dirty and very low end.
Great stay here, staff were very helpful!! Having been to LA before and not really liking it, I now realised I stayed in the wrong place in the wrong area!!!! This hotel was perfect for us!!!
