No pool, jacuzzi, sauna or steam room. Shame.
Scaffolding on exterior of building so couldn't see the park.
Room drinks are extortionate.
But that's it - overall it's an awesome hotel.
Gramercy Park Hotel was perfect for our anniversary trip to NYC. It's in Midtown so you have easy access to Soho, Meatpacking etc... and also a nice walk up to Grand Central and Central Pk.
The hotel is very coolly decorated; amazing artwork (Hirst, Colen, Salle, Warhol...) great rooftop terrace & bar, low lit, bedrooms are stunning and a good size with ornate furniture, have good amenities, nice tv, good shower and super comfy beds.
Staff are really friendly and eager to give you the lowdown on local hotspots. Also, you get access to Gramercy Park (the only private park in New York) - a bit special.
Would definitely recommend.
