* the neighbourhood is quite shady * pretty far away from the airport and from downtown San Jose * the building was smelling really badly and our room reeked of smoke * the room and bathroom were clean, but the equipment is old and not loved. I slept in a sleeping bag in the bed just in case. * very very noisy fans in the hallways * people coming in and out at very weird hours in the night.
security system....good.maid was prompt in cleaning of rooms. owner should pay her more money.
noise level from upper floors.
Staff was extremely helpful. Good value. Location was good for my purpose of business. Restaurants and eateries nearby.
Facilities were a bit dated, but everything was in working condition and kept very clean. I got unlucky and had loud guests in the room across the hall. Constantly hearing doors being slammed shut.
Good location ,friendly helpful staff , older place but very clean and quiet, would definitely stay here again
This is a real find! It provided me a great base for attending a conference and traveling to businesses in the area. The hotel is small, older generation owned by a family. This is for you if you want to be free of the atmosphere of the large hotels. I happily stayed here for seven days and would have been pleased to be longer. Room was comfortable and good sized with kitchenette, nice bed, windows that open, friendly staff (the family owners are on site daytime) that very attentive to your comfort. The staff are vigilant about security while encouraging an informal, relaxed, open doors vibe. Strategic location, near Santa Clara convention center, Intel, tech. And last but not least it is a REAL bargain.
The location was close enough to Stanford Hospital. The room was older but clean & fresh smelling. The staff were very helpful with questions and curtious. Just a
Just a older hotel BUT nothing wrong.
Complimentary breakfast area was satisfactory, clean, and pleasant enough. Location is safe and convenient dining nearby within driving distance. Easy parking close.
This place is overpriced in my opinion for what it is: a small motel. The air conditioning unit bothered our sinuses so we turned it off making room hot. Bathroom small, and room was dark. Carpets outdated.
Location is probably the only thing for this place - and this after scratching my head hard! It's on El Camino Real - which is an arterial road, and a few miles away from major highways like 101 and 280/880; .
The room stank of a weird disinfectant that they use as part of the cleaning procedure. The shower stall is good enough if you are a midget. The breakfast is a sugar blast, and consists of some danish pastries, coffee, juice and bananas. Staff helpfulness just about adequate. I scooted from this place as soon as I found something else!
Older Motel, well maintained, good sized rooms, OK bed, good location with many restaurants within walking distance, friendly staff, OK WiFi. Hotel prices in silicon valley are insane, so this one, while not exactly cheap, is at a little over a hundred/night, not bad.
Minimal breakfast-no cereal or milk--only toast, rolls & donuts.
The breakfast is good and free. The fruit is fresh and very nice. The front desk is nice.
This is a family run business. There is someone at the front desk at all hours to help.Pay for room at check in .FreeWifi ,breakfast, extra towels. Able to cook in room, micro, fridge. Hot water in the moning. Parking free too.
Bed spreads needed to be laundered, and carpet cleaned. Motel is older but needs to smell fresh all the time.
Service was good
Can be better in all aspects
Staff were courteous, friendly and helpful
Kitchenette is convenient.
We had the most wonderful experience. Harry and his staff were more than helpful and happy to accommodate all our needs. We will be sure to stay with them again when we are able to go back to the Bay Area. Please convey our thanks and good wishes to all at the Granada Inn.
The style of the hotel and room, the nice tv, the double padded office chairs at the corner L-desk in the room, the mini kitchenette...all these things were great, useful and convenient.
Continental breakfast and the not-great parking were my only slight issues.
employees are polite. close to the mall or restaurants.
Liked the location
Bad Paint smell in the hotel. Not worth paying so much for a small room with tiny kitchenette. Breakfast is also not that great, everyday varieties.
The room is plenty of space.
Everything looks very old. It looks like 40 year old apartment without remodel.
The place was old and dirty. There was no DVD player in the room as they described.
The room was not made.
The location is convenient with friendly staffs and they just replaced their carpets and some new windows.
We were given a room with broken window and screens and the staff was "not generous" or was't aware to offer a more appropriate room for their customers.
The price sold the place also I liked having a refrigerator and stove
Staff the room service was not good and was very out dated drug dealers everywhere didn't like
