Loved the beach access. Clerk at check in was especially helpful & polite.
Multiple flat sheets used to substitute for a king sized fitted sheet. Clerk at check out was irritated that I asked for a receipt.
Location Friendly staff Will stay again
LOCATION GOT WHAT WE PAID FOR.
OLD NOT UP TO DATE LOOKED TIRED NEEDS SOME REMODELING
Small ,dark , and not updated.
Location right on the ocean, decent cleanliness,
when looking for a place to stay, booking.com showed that all the hotels were booked but when we arrived, the majority of hotels were not booked and had vacancy signs. We ended up with a non refundable room at a low end, dated, poor quality hotel. If we just drove down and took our chances we probably would have had a quality hotel with a good price. Never again will I book from here !
Proximity to the ocean.
Room always had a faint odor of cigarettes, but at times it was unbearable. Room 202 was what the front desk attendant called the "booking.com" room. Stay away from it. The full size beds were uncomfortable.
Location, it was on the beach.
We couldn't lock our door. We had to have it fixed before we could leave the hotel. Parking is poor with almost none available and what was available was very tight.
No wifi no coffee poor television
We wrote you recently about our bad experience at the Granada resort hotel in Wildwood crest. You were trying to get in touch with the manager at the hotel and you were going to get back to us. We have not heard from you. Please respond Arlene and Mel Berger
location fair price
there was no coffee cups there was no water in the soda machine would have like hot water in the hot tub and the line to dry cloths in the tub did not work
Location, ocean view, pool
Dirty room, bathroom door is not closing, no Wi-Fi signal, t-mobile signal is not available in room 214 for some reason, no light in the corridor, blinds are broken, dirty blankets and towels.
The view and the proximity to the beach was awesome. Staff very freindly and helpful.
Run down condition of the rooms, of the pool and hot tub ..... if you want to call it a hot tub ???
right on a beautiful beach, quiet, other guests were well-behaved families and older folks, very affordable for the location, nice pool
It was clean enough but not very well-maintained. Could use some paint, repairs. Stained carpet. Room needs attention to feel a bit nicer. wifi didn't work in our room. It did NOT ruin our vacation though!!
You will either stay up all night from the noise of the a/c unit in your bedroom wall --if you choose to have it on -- or from the noise generated by 30+ wall units on all night from the neighboring motel 3' away from the bedroom you are in. Had to check out after one night without refund.
On the ocean
pool not so nice old furnishings only one of the tvs worked well parking was way to tight
Great quiet location next to beach
Climb stairs to third floor
Right on the beach. Staff was friendly. Bed comfy. AC worked. Cute touches to try to make up for the run down condition. For the most part clean. We stayed beachfront w/semi private balcony, but others from the hotel felt it was ok for them to come on it to enjoy the view. It's an extra $100 a night to have have this privacy. There was a chain but people moved it. Might be helpful it a "Do not enter" sign was attached to the chain.
No blankets on beds, expected to use bedspread as blanket. Luckily my daughter brings hers and I had a new beach blanket I was able to use. My mother used the blanket that we found on the shelf. Tile floor in bathroom was coming apart. The exhaust fan was very dusty so we didn't use it. Couch was stained so we covered it with a bedspread. Pool on the small side. The first day too hot to enjoy. Hot tub jets weak and same temp as pool. Second day water temp was fine, but again, hot tub same temp - not hot. Also, I feel little kids shouldn't be allowed in the hot tub and they were always in it, jumping and playing. Kitchen had 1 fork, 4 spoons and 2 knives. I suggest you bring your own utensils, including can opener, which I went down to office to get. They did find one for me although old and rusty.
The only thing that my family and I liked about the Granada was the proximity to the beach.
We booked a two room suite that cost us over $1,000 for 4 nights. The furniture was old, uncomfortable as was the bed. The TV did not work, nor did the hair dryer. There was no iron in the room. The shower had extremely low water pressure. There was never anyone in the main office to speak to when you had a question. The housekeeping staff haunted us to leave the room prior to 11:00 am. I think they forget that the guests are on vacation and sleepy teens don't allow for a 9:00 am departure. Very displeased and will never go back.
I like the proximity to the beach, the pool and the family friendly environment.
Location is perfect right on the beach in the nicer quieter part of the crest. Staff was helpful and friendly.
Room could have been a bit cleaner and more updated (newer carpet, appliances, etc. But most of the old hotels in the crest could use a bit of updating so if you ate used to this you will be happy with this hotel.
The location can't be beat! You can see the ocean while at the pool. We were early and enjoyed the beach until our room was ready. The manager was accomodating and we enjoyed our stay. The property was old but clean.
Lights were not working and the pool was dirty on the first day. It was cleaned in the morning. The hot tub is not warm.
Location! Great outdoor pool but the way the pics look it looked like a hot tub. Loved that there was a kitchen!
The odor in the room was overwhelming (and not pleasant) the air conditioner new right on you while you slept
the pool was not clean, the bedroom window was broken and we had to listen to outside hotel air-condition units all night which was very load. The kitchen pots were limited and not very clean. Overall this place is not value for money and is tired and needs an update.
The proximity to the beach was the only good quality of this hotel but let's face it, there are plenty of other hotels on the beach.
Room claims to have 900 sq ft but is crowded with oversized furniture making space non existent. Parking spaces are so close together that you need to decide which side you're going to come out of before parking. Really far from the boardwalk and restaurants.
