Our room (ocean view king suite) was stunning; large with gorgeous sitting area, 2 bathrooms, all amenities you could want. We ate in the hotel the first night and have to say that we were pleasantly surprised - the choice and quality was quite good.

The 2nd pool (7th floor) didn't seem to be open and was quite unkempt which was a surprise.

The room was fabulous with an excellent view. It was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were very impressed with the staff. They were outgoing, friendly and helpful at every level. It was also very nice to see the owners on site and the staff were proud to point them out.

The drinks were very expensive.

The rooms were nice. The main bed was very comfortable. The view was beautiful. Nice beach.

The drinks were ridiculously expensive. Chairs and umbrellas for the beach had to be purchased every day. The beach wasn't kept clean of debris. Often when phoning the front desk or concierge, no one would pick up. Not many lounge chairs by the pool so people were constantly scrounging for a place to lay out.

Great ambiance, loved layout and lobby, great coffee shop and valet service, not too far from SoBe but far enough from the craziness for a good family vacation

Food at restaurant was just ok; front desk could be more responsive, should have microwaves in rooms and vending machines for soda and water

Location food and beach

1St room offered on the 13th floor had a bad smell and was dirty... 2Nd room offered had very dirty carpet and fabric. Towels the were in the room on the 2nd day were dirty. Room service took forever.

Large room, two bathrooms! Nice beach right outside.

Valet parking too slow; had to wait up until 20 minutes to get the car. Quite long (30-40 min), however nice, walk to downtown (South Beach), making you car dependent.

the room is very comfortable and clean. there are three warm water pools and four hot spring pools in this hotel. and this fatilities run all day for there customers. By the way, the breakfast buffet is pretty good!

Pools are ok. Food is ok. Beaches superb.

Good location. Rooms were OK. Staff generally friendly. Nice atmosphere.

Did not deal with problem issues quickly. Room beside mine had young travelers with loud music and foul language. Hotel did not deal with this immediately.

Room decor and comfort

Upon arrival the room carpet had been washed and was soaking wet. Housekeeper said it would dry in 3035 minutes. It took almost 2 days (no bare feet here!) Robes, towels had holes in them. No dining choices except Chez Gaston (no big deal).

I liked the room and the view, and the beach was lovely. The bed was very comfortable.

I didn't like the fact that the room attendant didn't wash the wine glasses, or we couldn't be sure she did, as they just looked rinsed. I also didn't like the fact that when I slept on the pull-out couch the first night I found the remote for the second TV that we hadn't been able to find actually under the sheets - i.e., against my skin. Hard to imagine how a maid could miss this if the sheets were actually changed before we got there. The hotel sort of grudgingly said "sorry" but when I suggested they could make it up to me by allowing me a late check-out because my airport ride didn't come until 4 - they only gave me until 1 pm and didn't offer any other compensation. There was no turn-down service either which is unusual for a luxury type hotel. Thanks, Jennifer

Hotel is ok for the price.

The restaurant was not at the hotel level. They charge you usd 4 for receiving packages. I uderstand that for big bulky packages, but not for little boexes or envelopes.

This is our 3rd stay at Grand Beach. We just love it! we love everything!
