Close to the strip, nice pool area, comfortable bed
We would have enjoyed a later check out, 10AM is really early!
Good Swimming pool for the family, Free use of Xbox and WII. Free DVD rental from a large list If you need to get to Luxor, Mandalay Bay, Excalibur end of the strip its only a short walk
Very expensive on site food at the shop.
Great location for a family (not on the Strip but close enough) The facilities were beautiful 2 Bedroom suite had ample space (nice when you are travelling) Clean, modern spacious rooms Loved the large ensuite Fantastic place for children
Did not like the attempt to sell a time share - we were travelling from overseas so really not potential customers.
The accommodation was lovely and spacious. Plenty of room for 5 of us. The adult only pool was a bonus.
The pressure from the timeshare sales staff
The Staff Was Fun and Very Accommodating! The staffs' personalities were fun and as if they were on vacation as well. The pool was very nicely keep and the adult pool bar was spectacular, great tasting specialty drinks. It is nice that the room has so many accommodations!
The room needed a few minor repairs, the front door was difficult to open upon exiting and the closet door dragged when using. Check out time at 10 am, $35 for the first hour over and $100 for each consecutive hour... seriously, the check in time was 4pm?!? While on the "didn't like" section what's with the "(200 character minimum)"? A simple opinion should be just as valid as a more expressive one.
Everything! From the time we dropped our luggage off early, to the time we checked out, everything was great. The staff were friendly - and I was only approached once about the whole time-share sale, and that was at the very beginning. I would definitely stay here again!
Gosh, it seems like nitpicking, because we really liked everything. I guess if I had to pick, I would suggest they include more hangers in the closets, and more towels for each bathroom.
24 hour pool access Very Comfortable stay. This is my second stay at this facility and I know its not my last especially with a group trip of leisure time.
Although buildings on the strip appear close, it is not a short walk, especially in the heat of Las Vegas. But they do offer tranportation, but stops pick ups at 10pm.
Very nice place to stay. No outside noise heard, price was good. bed was comfortable.
Check out time was an hour too early
The location. The 3brm villa. The staff. The condition of property. 5 star all the way.
Pool area was great. Pool staff and other staff were excellent. Very convenient to have a washer ad dryer and kitchen.
Vacation ownership sales pitch.
the family suite is wonderful, gels everyone together in many wonderful ways. cooking & eating together is one!
one of my family member was looking for the disposable hotel-styled slippers but was disappointed there were none!
Two pools -family & adult well maintained. Two bedroom suites. Mini movie theatre. Aquasize! Friendly people. Great blender in kitchen. Helpful concierge.
Smoking area as you walk into pool areas that polluted half of the adult pool area and all of the sitting area. Smoking should be outside of the core courtyard and not near the entrance. Over inflated Starbucks prices.
The apartment was fabulous . It was so well equipped with every kitchen utensil . It was great to have a whirlpool bath and the washing machine and dryer was a bonus .
It was a bit to far to walk to the strip at night.
Size of rooms and facilities/kitchen were excellent. Convenient location.
swimming pools were not best. our children are 13 and 16 and could not use the adult pool so were limited.
A mile from the strip. Very good value. Size of the apartment.
The accommodation excellent
No maid service
Rooms are spacious,clean and comfortable
They hound u about buying time share :/
We really enjoyed our stay at Grand Desert. Good location close to the strip, we sometimes used the shuttle bus, but the strip is within walking distace. Familyfriendly hotel compared to hotels located at the strip. Free wi-fi. We stayed in a three bedroom apartment and it was really spacy.
Pool, we'll stocked kitchen
Long walk to strip, uncomfortable Bed,
The accommodation and resort was within a short walk of the Las Vegas strip very clean and comfortable
The aggressive timeshare sales pitch before they will give you your parking permit for the complex and the free bus passes. So here's a tip don't go to the entertainment desk after you get your room key for the free pass for the courtesy bus as its always fool anyway just walk to the strip its only 10 minutes walk or you can get a cab for 7 dollars and you don't get the sales pitch or the supposed free breakfast and show tickets which can be purchased on the strip for a smaller fee than you expect and no hassle.
It was close to the main strip. I got a king room with a kitchnette which allowed me to cook when I felt like it. It also had a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Pool facilities were awesome with great pools.
No continental breakfast or free coffee.
Our family had a two bedroom facility with two bedrooms, living room and kitchen. It was really full equiped. Three TV sets Micorwave, stove, washer and dryer and so on. Two showers. The Jacuzzy was nice. Beds were big and perfect. Everything was very clean. We felt welcome from the first moment on. No complaints whatsoever. We didn't use all the services the hotel offerde but the value for your money was excellent. Some day we will return. Three thumbs up.
We liked everything.
Pool area was excellent and the resort was so clean and well kept.
I would have liked more shuttles to the strip since it is such a long walk and not easy to get to the strip.
I wish the adult pool was deeper.
we loved our three bedroom suite. we had 10 people for my daughters 21st birthday. they had a blast!!!!!! They enjoyed the pools and the shuttle to the strip and the location was perfect so they were able to walk back @ 4a.m. after clubing. we will absolutely stay the next time we come to Vegas
The whole time share thing. I'm not interested. After I told them the second time ,we never heard about it again so that's cool. The fact that you can't take your luggage to the room yourself was kind of nerve racking because we had so many people. we're on vacaction and I hate that feeling of being so rushed. one last thing.... 10 a.m. checkout is early considering the clubs don't close till 5 a.m. just a thought. Our maid got to our room at 9:45 and just stood outside the door staring at us for the remaining 15 minutes. Staggering the checkout times would also help the bellmen and the cluster **** in the lobby and the driveway. Even with these few things you have a very beautiful hotel and we will be excited to stay with you again soon.
