We really enjoyed our stay. It was awesome to come out the door and see the ocean. Grand Hotel was an excellent choice for our weekend getaway.
Parking was a bit of an issue, but we managed.
The location was great! The restaurant was EXCELLENT and we loved the DJ around the bar! We are residents now of cape may and will be eating and dancing at your restaurant !!

The rooms were beautiful, the staff was kind and friendly, the hot tub was amazing and the beds were just perfect, add to that the beach being 10 steps away and you get a perfect trip, 10/10
Desk staff ( cannot remember her name but it started with an S ) went well above expectations when pipe broke making original room unavailable. Very good restaurant.

First time we stayed in an outside room. The room was nice but..........
We were in room 186 and the exit door in the hallway was never shut properly. This means all the heat was going outside in the sub zero weather. Even though our heat was on in our room, the draft from the hallway came in the bottom of the door. My wife put towels at the bottom of doors to keep draft outside.
I just want to thank the young lady o forget her name but she worked in the evening around 5pm and manager James for making my stay 110% better after they solved my issue within ten minutes and went above and beyond
Front desk staff is always welcoming. Indoor pool and hot tub area are awesome. Rooms are always comfortable.
It was really clean and very comfortable. Nice view, room.
Wifi didn't work in the room, it was no spot for the parking.
Clean rooms and comfortable beds
They were having a lot of kids staying on our floor for a wrestling convention. The desk clerk asked if we wanted to move away to a quieter part of the complex. We didn't even have to ask to be moved.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Older building but clean and quiet.
Hotel had no record of our online booking. Room very cold upon arrival. TV limited with fair picture quality.

None of my outlets in my room worked. When I notified front desk they could careless. I needed outlets to charge my hearing aides. Also the hair dryer was not working along with no wifi. The front desk lady was miserable!!
Food was decent at Hemmingway's restaurant in hotel. Nice breakfast buffet for the money.
Tv is local cable no hd and wifi was extremely slow. Room smelled of mold as if it had been closed up for months. Couch had an awful smell and needed to be deep cleaned. Carpet was old which contributed to foul room smell. The sinks were dirty and the tub had a ring around it like it had never been properly cleaned. I had an issue with booking.com overcharging me $30.00 for the room and I am still waiting on the refund under their best price guarantee. The hotel was unwilling to help me with the overcharge. I had to scan with my phone a copy of the room plus the price list to start the refund process. Booking.com then wanted the hotel's website address (2nd email) to verify charges. (What year is this?) After three days I finally heard from booking.com and they said they would honor their "best price guarantee". I am still waiting on my refund. This now has become my project. A prompt refund after jumping thru hoops should be a best business practice. If you decide to stay at the Grande be aware that the main hotel rooms do not face the ocean. They have a parking lot view with the air conditioning systems with a view of the ocean barely to the left of the room. Make sure you ask this question as I heard the front desk clerk tell someone on the phone that all the rooms have a ocean view. This is not true.
