Branson, if you know your way around, it a nice place to...
Branson, if you know your way around, it a nice place to visit. We went to Branson Landing just to walk around, ate at Shogun's (and had a great chef there), and spent some time walking around Silver Dollar City (expensive, but we have season passes - it makes taking our grandchildren there during the summer and for Christmas a little cheaper and gets us into WhiteWater as well). However, I grew up around there, so I know many of the back roads and shortcuts around town so I don't have to deal with the traffic issues that most visitors have to deal with. If you drive the main drag it can take forever to get around. Familiarize yourself with the different routes (red, yellow, and blue) that will help you get around town easier. There are some good shows - again, it can be a bit expensive. We are planning a miniature golf trip to Branson in July with one of our granddaughters. Lots of different courses to play with some trips to the mountain coasters, WhiteWater, and Tanger Outlet Mall thrown in.

Branson has become a money trap.
Branson has become a money trap. The price has doubled in the last year and the quality is less than half of what it used to be. Don't eat at starving Marvin's buffet it's hands down the worst food in Branson and the most expensive.

The main street was full of carnivals rides, ticket booths.
The main street was full of carnivals rides, ticket booths. Theatre's, fast food, restaurants. The overall feel of an area that has past its prime. Also very congested. The old town had the regular souvenir stores. Did find a wonderful Romanian cafe called Translavania for great cappuccinos and caramel rolls. Branson seems like a blend of tacky main drag, old town and delightful river walk area. If I were to visit again, I would look for accommodations outside of Branson. We stayed at a hotel with a high rating and I would give it a poor rating. Most of the lodging choices were worse than where we stayed. Entertainment trying hard but loosing it's luster. We ate dinner both nights at Cheddars from scratch cooking. Very good and reasonable. Clean and new.
Unfriendly people.Avoid anyone offering TIMESHARES, CONDOS SALES PITCHES! They offer you free stays that are filled with small print FEEs like cleaning, resort fee, taxes on free, restrictions, cancellation fees, etc Avoid like a plague. You are NOT welcome to leave during their extended presentations followed by additional sales pitches hidden as surveys. Total scam

The quality of food in Branson is world class.
The quality of food in Branson is world class. You have to try Chedder's Scratch Kitchen on Hy 76. Also, Charlie's smoke house.
There is always something to do in Branson. Plus, a lot of shopping opportunities.
This property has fabulous views and is close to the activities of Branson, but without being in the middle of it. We had access to the condo via a key code on the door. The owners were the most helpful. We booked it on booking.com, but had direct contact with the owners. They were friendly and made sure everything was good for our stay. The price was great, for our family of 8. It was nice to have a quiet place to call home, after being busy the week prior and the long drive. The beds were soft and the bathrooms are roomy.
Excellent stay at Grand Oaks Hotel in Branson MO! We would recommend to others and will stay again if we visit Branson in the future. Friendly and knowledgable staff, Clean hotel, Clean room, great location, Excellent pools for young kids! Our only recommendations would have been a little more variety in the breakfast, and adding a hinge lock inside the room so our toddler couldn't open the door from the inside.
Breakfast was good especially for being included. Staff was so helpful. Hotel was updated and contemporary. Beds were comfortable and loved having extra pillows. My child loved indoor pool and arcade. It's not that the arcade had a ton of games, but after going non-stop on the strip in Branson it was a nice downtime area before bed.
It was in a good location. Close to all of the fun things that Branson has to offer. The hotel was nice. The room was pretty clean. The breakfast was spectacular. And they changed it up both days so we didn’t have to eat the same breakfast twice in a row! The view from the room was awesome. We could see the big Branson Ferris wheel!
I loved everything about this Hotel. The cleanliness, the location, the staff. It's exactly what we were looking for in a hotel.
We visit Branson every year, and many times the hotel we stay in is not as good quality as they advertised.
Seven Gables Inn was quality, and great service. Strongly recommend it.
Michelle is super nice, condo excellent cleanliness, beds etc…
Would definitely stay here again! So much better than a hotel.
Pool area very clean very nice!
I would give this place 5 star rating!!!!
Loved it beautiful home!
Thank you so much Michelle!!!
Close to everything!
The hotel is away from the heavy traffic and noise of Branson. But close enough to get to places in Branson under 30 min. The view was wonderful, paid a little more for it but was worth it. Liked having a balcony. The bed was very comfortable from the mattress to the sheets.
The staff was sooo helpful and friendly. Super clean and we LOVED our suite with the Spa tub! Best place we have stayed at Branson. Location is great- just outside of the hustle and bustle of the strip. Loved the extra touch of having the desert bar at night included.
The rooms were immaculate and well designed. The hotel is lovely in a great location with so much to do. We wished our stay was longer just so we could hang out and enjoy the lobby, fire pits, and hot tub by the creek.
It wasn't a large hotel so you didn't have to walk far. It was very clean, convenient (not on the strip) so it was easy to get around, nice pool, and very personable, professional staff. The reviews were accurate.
It was clean, which is a big deal to me and located close to everything on the strip. The pools were great and the breakfast was good. The man at the front desk is very nice and helpful.
Breakfast was typical of some other hotels. Did not like having to walk to another building then having to take elevator to another floor just to have instant breakfast foods
Branson was wonderful! Hotel was in a good location, nice staff, good size room with a nice spa. The unexpected snow was wonderful for our 25th anniversary!!!
