Grand Plaza Hotel Branson  

The receptionist that checked us in was more than a bit arrogant, and very short with her comments, she was the older gray hair lady that worked the day shift. Never offered a kind or helpful hint, on the other hand a young man, who I believe his name was Scott, was extremely helpful, it a pleasure for us to talk with him.

I loved everything about the hotel. Josh and Todd were on duty when we checked in and they both were very friendly. Josh also helped us the next day to get into an adjoining room so we could all be together. We will stay here when we come back.

parking, hotel is worn (needs remodel). pool area smelled bad. slow elevators. room was not cleaned everyday and when it was done, it was poor quality. beds were not comfortable. size of room was on small side especially bathroom.

Pillows were too soft... The free wifi only worked in the bathroom ( we were in a corner room). Kids were jumping in the hot tub and not being kept out of it.

The room was nice size, with a hot tub. We used it every night. We stayed on the 2nd floor and rarely heard anyone. The staff helped us arrange for a couple of shows which turned out to be great and the seats were excellant.

The parking if you did not get a space by the back door. But, i realize there is nothing which can be done.

Everything about the facility fit into our wants, and needs. Facility was extremely clean and well kept. Staff was very knowledgeable and courteous.

The room was very clean.

Not enough handicap parking, I'm handicapped and could not find a place to park, I had to park on the farthest back row and had to walk several yards and climb 4 long steps to get to the lobby, which was very dangerous for me. The room did not have enough lighting, it had just 2 small lamps for the roon and 1 entry light. Room was too dark at night with lights on. I requested early book in at 10am, we got our room at 3:10pm. They did however "upgrade" our room which was a farce.

Good Location for Branson attractions. Good value using Booking.com.Staff very friendly and helpful. They were excellent in all respects.

Poor food quality in restaurant and mediocre breakfast buffet. Sound from restaurant one floor above bled through to room waking me up earlier than wanted. Poor lighting in sitting room of mini suite.

Parking is horrible unless you are a mountain goat or disabled. Very limited parking if you don't have disabled sticker or license tag. The room had an offensive odor. The bed was comfortable.

Our adult daughter and family also stayed at the hotel, and it was a great place for kids. The breakfast buffet was excellent! The little ones also enjoyed the pool, and the adults liked the hot tub.

This is a minor incident, but when we checked in, our son-in-law was also checking in with another employee at the next station. I asked to be near their room, and the woman who was checking us in said, "Well, I can't really do that since I don't know what their room number is" in a snarky tone. She then asked the other employee for the room number and gave us rooms on the same floor, so I don't know what the problem was. I was just taken aback by her attitude over such a simple request! Other than that, the staff was very congenial and helpful.

Entertainment at breakfast and dinner with Kenny Parrot - singer. The breakfast brunch was very good. Dinner menu was lacking. Service in the restaurant at both meals was very good.

Lack of enough handicap parking availability. The upper level parking allowed easy access to the hotel while the lower level parking required many steps to reach the hotel which was hard for those of us who have medical difficulties with steps.

The maintenance staff was very friendly and efficient.

It's falling apart, the first nite the shower head was broken, the A/C noise was terrible and the toilet was hard to flush. The beds were uncomfortable and made noises when you moved. I stepped in dog poop in the hallway. After three nights of no sleep we asked to be moved to another room. Maintenance checked 3 rooms before they could find one that didn't have A/C noise. This room had lights burned out and the blow dryer blew up. The outlet in the bath had only one functioning outlet, the sink dripped and the toilet worked but was a smaller than normal toilet. The complimentary breakfast- waffles were terrible and the biscuit were hard as a rock.

The "complimentary" breakfast is awful. The staff serving it are surly, lazy and have no interest in serving their customers.

Bathroom was not clean. Booking.com does not have a concept of customer service
