Modern, updated feel. Good gym.
I ordered room service and that was a big mistake. I was expecting fresh, organic, delicious food. What I got was something akin to what one purchases at Costco.
room was excellent..... did not like the 11 dollar mandatory resort fee for the spa that wasn't open on sunday
the hidden charges for the so called resort fee... and they messed up our room service order and didn't deliver it till the 21 pizza was cold and soggy
Loved the kid friendly amenities and staff friendly
Pillowtop bed was not comfortable...old.
We liked the colors of the casino and the 'lighter' atmosphere and brightness of the amenities.
There seemed to be too much of a wait in the restaurants and the wait staff was not that friendly or helpful.
When I check in they don't give a king bed room
Loved the suites! Staff was excellent! The resort was clean and nice.
had to wait forever for car valet and then in line to check in. 20 counters to check people in and two checkers. then wait again to get car back....waiting, waiting.
In General everything was good. Staff tries really hard, they are pleasant, some maintenance assistance need attention
My room was to far from the entrance, considering i had a working handicap, the service need to be shorter and faster.
Peaceful, spacious, lots to see, great location, lots of parking.
No pool/jacuzzi, no bathtub, no fan in bathroom. Most everything closes by 11pm.
Lots of activities, didn't have to leave the resort. Bowling, golf, gambling and good restaurants!
The cost of alcohol at the bars is way to much!
Everything! The layout .of your casino is great. A few more signs in the halls would have been welcome. We seemed to get lost easily.
The meal we had was served cold.
Every thing was okay
Main doors to far to a front desk
Other than the initial check in, this was by far the best service I have had in this hotel. Everyone was friendly and professional, the guest services staff were a pleasure to interact with, the restaurant staff were top notch, and the valet staff were absolutely wonderful!
The front desk clerk could not locate my reservation because it showed up under my traveling companion's name even though I had cancelled one of the rooms. Her reaction was such that it implied that there was no reservation for me at their hotel. She took the information back to her supervisor and they were able to locate it and get me checked in. The other minor issue was that they began their remodeling project of their main entryway during our stay which resulted in a few detours in order to get back to our vehicle. On the cleanliness level, I noticed that housekeeping missed underneath the vanity in the bathroom as there were part of a paper wrapper and another piece of paper underneath.
The new carpet and wall coverings are very nice over what they were even five years ago. Johnny Rocket still makes the best malt in town.
The HVAC hasn't been upgraded and was still noisy in our room.
The ventilation system actually worked to keep the smoke out of our rooms. We traveled with a baby so this was important to us. Even the restaurant and walking past the slots was better than other places we have stayed at in Sparks.
Long walk if you self park. Valet is free but does fill on weekends.
Everything was contained within the resort, I.e. Restaurants, theatre, etc.
It would have been nice if there was easier access to malls for shopping, but it's location to the airport was very convenient.
I like that they had different things for family to do at the facility.
The rooms were like a Motel 6. The onsite staff weren't that great. The room, was nothing like the pictures.
Room was very nice, the fridge and microwave were very helpful. Great bed and TV, very relaxing place to stay after a long travel day. Room service was prompt, food was very good. Easy check in/out process
Room was just a little on the dark side, could have had better lighting in the entry area/kitchen area but not too bad.
There is so much to do...eat...drink...entertainment. .bowling. .movie theater. .casino..spa..outdoor activities. ..You never have to leave GSR to go anywhere else!
Very comfortable & nice room (Concierge suite); beautiful decor in the casino; the spa was fabulous & very friendly staff.
Just a bit too far from the strip - taxi was pricey to go back & forth.
the service was good but I took one bit bad meat not one manager should have comp our bill worst food ever that was our first night. The manager said she would comp our bill but didn't
The hotel and suites are sparkling and shiny. Everything is new and the staff is very courteous.
the neighboring room partied all night long I did not sleep it was very disappointing because I work 50-55 hours a week and hardly ever get away.
We booked two rooms. We arrived a bit early. One of the rooms was not ready. The clerk took our cell number and texted us as soon as it was rather than us waiting around waiting and wondering. Nice touch. Room, food, staff all wonderful and the slots even cooperated! Will definitely stay there again when in the area.
Nothing to dislike. Its a great hotel casino!
