Providing ski-in, ski-out access to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, this boutique hotel, just 50 yards from the Jackson Hole Tram, features an outdoor pool and hot tub. Free Wi-Fi is included.
Score from 76 reviews Very good
An over-sized hot tub is available for guest relaxation at the Teton Valley Cabins, just 10 miles from The Grand Targhee Ski and Summer Resort, and the cottages have mountain views.
Score from 68 reviews Excellent
No complimentary breakfast
Beautiful setting, very comfortable temperatures while there in September, everything you would want or need is on site.
WiFi signal and phone strength fairly weak.
The beds were clean and since no one was there and it's in the middle of no where it was very quite.
This is very far away from Jackson. A GPS does not work so it's very hard to find. So before you book know where it is and how to get there. It took us a 100 miles out of our way. (50 miles over and 50 miles back) The avg speed limit is 35 miles an hour. We have Verizon and our cell phones still did not work.
The scenery was beautiful and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.
The bathroom door was difficult to close completely and the bath tub didn't drain properly. Also buffet breakfast was mediocre. Partly because the food was not very hot and there was not much variety. It definitely wasn't worth the price.
We liked the privacy and quiet of the location along with the view of the Tetons. The restaurant was very good and we enjoyed the hot tub and pool too. The room was very comfortable.
The resort was quite far from the Teton National Park.
We had a family emergency had to leave a day early thought they would refund one night stay, but did nothing for us.
Location was beautiful Staff was helpful Restaurant food was very good
No phone service for Verizon phones Received a lot of bites like spider bites while sleeping
A good value in a nice remote location. For our first day in the Yellowstone area we selected the Grand Targhee. It is about an hour from Jackson Hole airport. It is a nice scenic drive. The food is reasonable considering the remote location. Nice views
Our room seemed a bit older, no mini fridge.
very nice, friendly staff, good value. I am sure if you are skier it is a great location with wonderful amenities and activities and if you plan on just staying on their property it is probably a great place. Also seemed very clean.
when I booked it I was looking for something in Jackson Hole, WY. Grand Targhee is an hours drive from Jackson Hole and 44 mi. You also have to drive up and down a 8700 ft. mountain pass with a 10% grade. We were looking for a place to commute to the Tetons. Definitely wrong choice. Had small car barely even made it up without blowing the engine. Had to cancel second night because of location. Don't know how that will work out as far as the cacellation fee.
The views from the top of the chairlift were absolutely beautiful. The ride on the chairlift was fun and relaxing. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was a great place to stay if you were involved in all the events going on at the resort and not traveling to other sight-seeing destinations.
The room we stayed in was not air-conditioned and that was not mentioned when booking the room. The only restaurant open was very expensive. The distance to Yellowstone was really too far to go and sight-see and then come back to the resort all in one day.
I liked the views of the mountains
Restsurant was limited and expensive, seems like the resort is more for the activities it offers vs a leisure traveler, hallway was dark
Clean and cosy. Not bad at all
The Inn is farther than the map would leave you to think. The price was good compared to the rest of the area but over an hour to jackson and teton park. The town is also 20 minutes away and there is nothing else close.
The location is wonderful. We took the chairlift for incredible views, lunch on the summit and a great nature hike with naturalist Collins. Branding Iron was only eatery and good but pricey.
We could hear every movement from the guests in the second floor above us. Very thin floors/ceilings. Outfitter store ridiculously expensive. Bathroom quite small.
Staff was so friendly and helpful - every one we had contact with. Prices for kids activities were much more reasonable than in Jackson Hole. Unbelievable setting! Horse trail ride was spectacular and hiking/biking as well. Nice to be away from the crowds - very low-key feeling.
Restaurant prices were high and limited in summer months - a room with a small kitchen would have been great but ours didn't even have a microwave or fridge.
The setting was beautiful.
The beds were uncomfortable. It was a very warm night without air conditioning and sleeping with the windows open was very loud with people arriving to the lodge all night.
Restaurant was sub par, over priced, and full of it self. It needs reinventing, an at home feeling that caters to everyone. Not a stuck 30 miles in the mountains and you'll eat whatever is put in front of you . Bring your own food and cook it in the microwave
Great location, off the beaten path (at least in the summer). This side of the Tetons is just as beautiful as the east side, but with a lot less traffic. The Grand Targhee Lodge is close to Driggs, ID, where you can get anything you might need.
Limited opening hours for many of the shops in the summer.
locates at the other side of the Grand Teton, spectacular views. It also has a lift up the mountain for $15. really worth it.
Excellent value for the money especially considering the area. Excellent staff. Incredible location in front of Grand Teton National. Excellent setting for active people.
Restaurant is expensive for what it is. Off season ski resort so they have limited hours for service. The rooms are great for the winter ski conditions but only good as an all season design. Not a complaint really but people should understand that the place is designed to be comfortable at temps below zero. Still a great value off season.
It was quite a ways away from other points of interest that we visited such as Jackson Hole and Yellowstone. I wish we had chosen accommodations more conveniently located.
Beautiful area, great check in, very helpful! Beds extremely comfortable. A plus!
Can't complain about anything!
I loved the location and surroundings. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
The room itself was less desirable than expected.
Big rooms, but the best part was the lift to the top of the mountain and the 2-hour hike down.
The ride up the chair lift was so beautiful. Giving the most spectacular view of the Tetons
It is a place that you could stay and play. They have everything there for a Great Vacation.
