They seem to be trying to make upgrades to the property but they have a long way to go.
An older property. Old furniture in the room. A pervasive smell throughout the hotel and your room until you get the A/C going.
Floor felt wet and shower head was to low. No jets in the hot tub.
The rooms were updated and very clean! It was quiet and very comfortable! We come to Grand Junction every few weeks to visit our son and his family. Previously we had been staying at La Quinta Inns. Your Hotel was much more reasonable and much cleaner! We will be staying with you from now on! Thank You!
Nice place. Friendly staff. Great value.
Shower head was mounted very low.
Liked the room & the bar
Pool was cold. The breakfast wasn't very good for the price & the service wasn't very good.
Not enough electronic plugs
I was looking for a good but inexpensive and pet friendly hotel while driving from Denver to Las Vegas. For the price, this establishment far exceeded my expectations. Outstanding staff at the front desk and dining areas.
Location for what we were in Grand Junction for was good. The furniture was way too big and the staff changed them right away. This staff is doing a great job with a dying hotel. The owner needs to spend some money. The price was good for what we got. Go to Dream Cafe downtown for breakfast.
Top two floors had no ice. Machines were broken for a week. Elevators sounded like they were on their last legs. Entry way was old and cracked. In Vegas this place would have been torn down a long time ago.
The staff was very accommodating. They were friendly and kind. We had a very comfortable bed and sleep well during our stay.
We ate in the hotel restaurant only once. The service was good but the food was under cooked and over priced.
Everything except the very slow elevators
Staff was great, treated us kindly. The room was very clean. Good location
1st...the restaurant wasn't open, had to go in the bar to eat. Not what I expected when choosing the hotel before we came, wouldn't have chosen this hotel if this was the case. 2nd....the pillows on the king size bed were like small. smaller than a normal pillow, little square things, made for a very uncomfortable sleep. 3rd...the exercise room, really! Three machines in this tiny closet area, another reason why I had chosen this hotel over others, thought there was an exercise room, don't advertise an exercise room when you really don't have one!
Rooms were very clean. The management staff was nice after a problem was resolved.
When we first went in, the lady at the front desk couldn't check us in so she asked the other lady to do so. That girl was huffy and aggravated that she had to do so. That was the beginning of the end for me. Later that day I wanted to use their hot tub. That's why I rented this place to begin with and it turns out that the hot tub wasn't working and nor has it been working for a very long time. The water was luke warm and the hot tub itself was dirty. Pieces of plastic in it were floating, and there was a piece of the plastic tubing that came off an was at the bottom of the tub. A third issue arose when Bookings.com and the hotel itself had issues and instead of apologizing to me, I was told to handle it myself. Eventually the hotel staff did take care of it but it basically ruined my experience at that hotel.
Everything about it.
The tub had lots of hair on the drain.
The facilities were nice. Best thing was value for price. Food in the bar was good. Breakfast buffet was awesome. Just a real clean comfy place w/ nice staff.
I have no complaints but i did hear other guest complain about wifi. Here's a tip: the 6 th fl has its own password protected wifi. I think this is reason it worked well for me. I downloaded podcasts for trip all night no problem.
Place was very clean and the staff was very helpful
refrig and microwave in each room great bed huge wall of windows top floor-awesome!
in room table & chairs' height did not match...hard to eat dinner there.
Perfect location, close to the airport! Ideal for early departures
-The room was very clean, and modern.
-The snootiness of the hotel staff. -There are no side doors to bring luggage up to room, etc. So get to lug all your bags etc past the front desk in front of the hotel staff that stare at you like your doing something wrong. RUDE!!!!
Nice pool, room, restaurant an bar and easy access to freeway
WIFI!! I really need it to make some payments over my laptop and it was so slow that I end up not making my payments at all! very disappointed! my phone was out of 4glt era and was running with only 3g data and was still a lot faster than the wifi at the hotel!
The convenience of food, bar, entertainment, and relaxation was an absolute find!
The hotel had high quality entrance and very professional friendly staff. The pool was nice.
The hotel was built over 30 years ago and shows the longevity. Minor updates have been made, but the hotel needs a major renovation to bring it back to prominence. While the location and quality of original build warrants the 3 star status, the wear (Cracked tiles, yellowed ceiling tiles, old tv's beds and bedding, plaid carpet) brings it down to a 2 star hotel. In the end, I would have preferred to stay in a newer 2 star hotel than this 30 year old 3 star.
Staff very personable, special thanks to the young man who checked us in on Fri 6/27. He was very accommodating. Excellent value . We were traveling back from Yosemite, and it was a welcome respite.
Everything was great
mattress was uncomfortable wife and i both had back aches.
