Even though we were all chill, never in any rush and out for most of the day the one elevator was a nightmare to wait for almost every time we needed to use it.
Location staff small room TV nice bathroom
It's older, but we were never in the room! Gave us reason to be out exploring.
We got a family room with three beds, which looks really spacious online, but its TINY! Mold all over the walls that had been painted over, and the carpet was gross.
Great location in Korea town.
Beds weren't real comfortable but ok for only a few nights as it's a great price for the location. The shower was tiny.
I think that The location was good and the stafd was welcoming.
The bedroom was not well cleaned! It smelled terrible , specially the sheets in the bed!
Wifi was poor, the bed was not comfy at all
The hotel's location-price balance is nearly unbelievable if you compare with others.
Although the location is perfect, the rooms are not the best at all.
Room got very cold during the night disturbing sleep, unable to get sleep until heating system switched on.
The location and the cafe dinner that had great food
The breakfast was just a bit limited
location, price, breakfast
The location was perfect
Location; Simple but nice breakfast
Cold bedroom (heater was not enough); Too expensive to what was offered.
I spent 2 nights at the Grand Union. Staffs were really nice and location as well. They includes quick breakfast. After checkout, I could leave my luggage in the hotel. This was also helpful.
The room was small and window is small. The elevator was very slow and there is only one elevator in the hotel.
Location. Location. Location. Staff were helpful and pleasant.
1st room was above front entrance to hotel. Lots of street noise. Moved us no problem. 2nd room was roasting with no thermostat to turn heating down. Had to use air-con (in December) which was very loud.
location was fantastic close to everything and within walking distance of many attractions
Good location, clean, staff helpful
restaurant not big enough, no bread to make toast.
It was just simply a place to crash for the night for a decent price nothing special about it in any way shape or form about it
staff was very friendly and courteous Breakfast was free a courteous plus! They gave all our party bottled water when we came in Family room was big and spacious! Standard room was a good size just to go and sleep!
blankets had dusty smell Bathroom could be a bit more cleaner
The location was really good. Hotel is in desperate need of updating and renovations.
Location & Staff
Quality of Hotel View from room Room Bathroom Waiting time for elevator Hotel in genral
very unfriendly staff tiny room with very old equipment noisy hit system
This was a very quaint hotel in the middle of Manhattan. The staff was very nice and accommodating. The location was perfect for us and for the price you could not beat it. We would stay there again in a heart beat.
The mattress was a little uncomfortable. We only stayed one night but if we stayed longer if might have been a bigger issue for use.
Proximity to sights; Walkable from train station (Penn); Room size good (four person room); Clean bathroom; Free continental breakfast; Good WiFi in bedroom;
Bedroom windows, with no net curtains, looked out onto next-door apartments and dirty roof tops; Only one, slow, lift; Cramped breakfast room necessitated some guests eating off their knees on the lobby chairs (or balancing breakfast items back to their bedrooms);
Great location for exploring the city. Close to lots of good bars in Murray hill area. Close to subway to go up and down town. Included breakfast was good and fresh. Lift wasn't a problem as we just walked up and down the stairs. Wifi was strong on the 5th floor. Overall exactly what we needed for a week in NYC.
Warm, comfortable and clean rooms. Free Wifi in rooms. Right next to Empire State Building and Metro station.
Elevator is tiny and slow, quicker to use stairs. Breakfast room is small and fills up quiv Quickly. Plumbing/ Heating is ancient and can be noisy.
