Ett "standardhotell" men med bra läge och gångavstånd till centrum. Prisvärt!

Frukost ingick I rumspriset men bestod bara av juice,te,kaffe, munkar och wienerbröd.

Quite close to the city centre. Spacious bathroom. Internet connection in the lobby.

We did not expect the view from our room would be to the wall even if we were on the fifth floor! I can not imagine being a little bit “lower” - and this relates to all rooms on one side of the hotel! The room was smaller and the double-bed had 137 cm only which is not very comfortable for two persons. The “breakfast” in the lobby where people do check-in/out is also “unusual”. Not very good value for money.

Facilities and service were very good and excellent value for money.

Within walking distance of the centre of San Francisco, close to public transport (we loved the cable cars), restaurants nearby, felt safe walking, pleasant staff, free internet access in the lobby, much cheaper than other hotels nearby.

No view from our room, very little drawer space, no pictures on the walls - the room was very anonymous.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Location - close to everything. Parking is very convenient and affordable.

The location of the grant hotel was perfect for our needs and one of the staff members was extremely helpful in giving directions.

The room got very hot at night, and we couldn't work out how to get the heater to turn off. We had to keep the windows open the whole time and this made the noise from the street even worse. Also, the hotel had a very unpleasant smell which seemed to be from their cleaning products that they used. I emailed the hotel twice before we left to try and get confirmation that our booking was still ok and heard nothing back.

Only free wifi in the lobby and very small breakfast.

Great location, friendly helpful staff! Cable car stop is at the end of the block. It near everything which is a huge plus. Will stay here again. Pizza subs and sushi near by.

Prices could be a little lower. Went in July and November an the prices where the same.

The location of the Grant Hotel combined with its price was the best thing about it. Public transport and shops are just around the corner. You'll be able to walk to Fisherman's Wharf in about 30 minutes, if you so desire. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was big and clean enough, and the beds were comfortable. If you're looking for a safe and comfortable place to stay while you're out and about for most of the day, this hotel is a really good choice.

The breakfast was a little limited in variety (just coffee/tea and some donuts, muffins and croissants), but luckily we weren't expecting anything else. The free wifi provided in the lobby was a little unstable, making me question the quality of the paid wifi connections in the rooms. This hotel is not really a place where you'll want to just hang out and enjoy its facilities, as there are practically none.

Very close to Union Square.

Noisy, no air conditioning. Room was not kept up well. No record of our reservation on arrival and was told no room available even thought I had a copy of the reservation in hand. I only stayed one night of the 4 due to the response I received.

No frills, but who goes to sf to spend time in their hotel room.

My wife is all about the cleanliness, and she approves.
