Grant Hotel

I liked the cheap price and the location was right off the main cable car route so it was easy to get to the transportation. The hotel was clean and kept. I was on the second floor and the WIFI was good in my room.

The hotel had smelly pillows. No fan in the room made it hard to cool off. I would not stay there in the middle of the hot times. My room was on the street and it was very noisy but i was able to sleep through all that.

The hotel was in an excellent location and provided very good value for money as a budget hotel. The lobby was nice and bright with free internet. At $85 this was a snip.

The hotel was on the shabby side and needed a makeover. ALso the breakfast was minimal but then I stayed at the Huntingdon ($195) that offered no breakfast at all.

Room was newly renovated and very good for price. Location is excellent, quite close to union square and cable car. There is parking accross the street at sprecial rates for guests.

Breakfast was included, but fairly minimal. Just basic coffee and average pastries. WiFi was included but only available in lobby, should have been available in room.

Its location is very convenient and the bathroom was spotless

The "continental breakfast" was not quite so. The coffee machine was broken and they did not have enough food for us, even though we went relative early to get it.

The window could not be locked.

Very good localization, walking distance to Union Square and very easy to take the cable car. The room is very little, ok to a couple. Breakfast is ok and free internet. Cleaning was ok.

The service of the parking lot is very bad during the morning. Be prepared to 15 minutes delays to your tours if you´re going by car. Not hotel´s fault, but it´s true.

Cant say much I was just in the room to sleep but the staff I have to say they were very curtious since the 1st day i arrived until the day I left

Apparently there was one thing I that discussed me. I might say the bathroom tub should need a little cleaning. I found hair that was not necessary to see. You might want to have that clean a little bit more often

Not much, they gave out good maps. The Asians at the front desk tended to be more helpful.

The hotel smelled like the same chemicals they use to clean airplane bathrooms,it was in all the hallways. The crampedness of the room. My room was essentially shafted, facing into the wall of the next building. Location was so-so, the walk from the subway is uphill.It wasn't a horrid stay, just an average one.

Close to many restaurants. Close to the Geary Theatre and The Curan Theatre. Close to Macys, Parking across the street. Great mattress. Close to Union Square. Cable car at the corner. Coffee machine. Incredible price for a downtown hotel!
