I had a great stay at Gray Ghost, but if you go just know that it is a little dated, in terms of the furniture in the 'Great Room' and because it is a ski lodge, there are stains on the carpet from people being careless and walking through the place with their dirty/wet ski boots and clothes on.
I traveled with my mother up to the Wanderlust festival which was at Stratton Mtn. The Swedish inn keeper was very hospitable and makes the property feel homey. The place is super laid back. They welcome everyone, bikers and pets included. In fact they have 2 gorgeous black labs or their own that are there. The grounds are lovely with a well kept pool, hot tub, kids swing set, chicken coop (clean-does not smell at all), and deck. The rooms are very basic- beds, AC/heat, dresser, and bathroom (shower-no tub). Also, no TV in the rooms. BIG breakfast of pancakes, french toast, home fries, eggs, bacon/sausage, coffee, tea.
