Close to navy base

Hard to find the location, relying on gps, the location of the gps was not pinpointing the right destination, I was able to drive back and forth but still can't find the motel, finally I called the motel number and guide me the way...

bathroom faucet handle rusted off. this is an old 60's style motor lodge that has seen its better days 40 years ago.

The heater sistem works very good

For the price I paid I thought I will stay in a quality motel room. But it was not like that. The mattres was very inconfortable, the walls need to be painted. I live in vegas and you can find a great room for the same price.

Location

No microwave (stated on website there was one); no coffee pot (stated on website, there was one); old and outdated; poor lighting; shower head poor; towels poor (like sand paper); no kleenex; wifi did not work; door knob stuck and difficult to open/unlock; flooring and carpet yuk!

They were always helpful :o)

Gave us accommodations that fit are needs when we arrived. Polite and Helpful.

The room was extremely dirty and with tax it was $80 a night, definitely NOT worth it. And the room looked NOTHING like it did on the website. Also, the ac in the room kept shutting off and the tv screen was frozen. I wouldn't recommend getting a room here unless you're extremely desperate. You definitely don't get your money's worth.

Economical compared to places in or closer to Chicago. Good place if you know someone at the Great Lakes Naval Training genteel.

Limited activities in immediate area and few dining locations.

The WiFi connection was so slow I couldn't use it. The TV sound was terrible.

It was horrible!!!!!! The pics on the website did not even come close to what it was. I was there with my daughter to attend my sons graduation at the Naval base. If I would've known what this Motel was like, I would've paid more to stay somewhere else. Scary!!!! Bed was dirty, towels felt like sandpaper, housekeeping showed up at 8:30am when we were scheduled to check out at 11am, horrible area...horrible everything!

It was right across the street from a Bar & Grill. So if I wanted a drink when my fiance went back to base, I wasn't too far from it.

There wasn't an iron and ironing board in the room. My t.v. had a small cable box next to it that made the sound "buzz" when the it came out the t.v.

It was a very dated but nice room very quiet

Close to Naval Base. Free shuttle.

Rooms was not like pictures. Was still ok, but not as updated as I imagined.

I liked that it's close to the Naval Recruit Training Center because we were there for my son's graduation from boot camp. I appreciated that eventhough we came in at 2:30 in the morning someone was available so we could check into our room.

We didn't like not having a refrigerator or microwave in the room. The bathroom mirror was not cleaned very well. Just a little note: The address on the website said 3101 Buckley Road, so our gps had us turn in the wrong direction. I noticed once we turned around and found the motel that the address is actually 101 Buckley Road.

Everything. It was so bad we had to leave after the first night and fo to a different motel

The shower did not work properly. The sink did not drain properly. The very loud 0400 train that was so close it seemed to pass through the room.

Nothing

Had to be buzzed into the lobby in the afternoon. Then had to conduct business through a bullet proof window with a slide try like at a bank. Motel is old and run down, nothing like their web page.

Across from a restaurant/bar.

Ants on our floor! Key never worked. 20degrees outside when we checked in. 20 degrees in our room.

Close to naval base

It was close to all the places we needed to go. We ate at the restaurant next door several times and we enjoyed that restaurant, so it was coveniently located. The room heater worked well. The owners were nice and helpful.

There wasn't much to like. The faucet handle in the bathroom sink didn't work properly. We had ants in the bathroom in February, in the Midwest, in the dead of winter when temperatures are in the 20'S. The maid didn't speak English, never made the bed and seemed upset when we asked her to clean the room. The worst thing was there was hair in the bathtub when we checked in.
