The location was great. Well situated within range of buses and the Pike Place Market. Each bed is allocated and has a locker and is curtained. Power points galore
So many homeless people in the area. Dodgy at night. Low cleanliness in the bathrooms. Sheets with stains. Blankets too small.
Except for the noise, everything was perfect, including the opportunity to park locally.
Noise from within the hostel was rather ridiculous, I thought. Loud parties, music and people yelling at 2 a.m., 4 a.m., as if they had no understanding anybody would be sleeping. Could there not at least be some guidelines?
The staff was very hospitable, the place very clean, and the free meals were fantastic. There was a great common area for people to (theoretically) spend most of time there instead of in the sleeping rooms. But...
While I feel like I was told or read a thousand times no food or drink in the sleeping rooms, there was no such emphasis on being courteous. I have never been with such rude travelers. In the room of 8, everyone but one was guilty of turning on the overhead light in the middle of the night, answering a cell phone, having a loud conversation when people are obviously sleeping, or being just generally loud, despite the lack of common rooms.
Great staff, nice layout and rooms, and the most bang for the buck!
If I have any problem with GT, it's that I wish the privacy curtains on the beds were a little bigger.
위치, 식사, 편안함, 사람들, 잠자리 등등 모든것
The foreign crowd here is great and being so close to pike place market made it great
A little noisy sometimes but thats about it
The staff were great from beginning to end. I wish I had time for one of day outings but was in town for conference. Perfect location in downtown area. Quiet hostel, people staying were nice, respectful, and quiet. I would stay here again or better yet try the San Francisco location!
Needs an area (non-smoking) with more couches/chairs to sit & talk but otherwise great
The staff were very friendly, and the bed were so comfortable.
It's located on the second floor, so struggled with my luggage up to the reception.
Located by Pike Place Market Dorms spatious - plenty of room between bunks, and curtains for each bunk for privacy. Good shower and kitchen facilities. Good deals on local attractions e.g. EMP museum and underground tours.
The location is perfect. I also liked the cleanliness of the showers and that they were cleaned daily. The beds are pretty small for taller people but you can't beat the price and location.
Location, location and location.
car noise during night, need to carry luggage up
People and staff friendly and accomodating. Great location to ferry terminal, Pikes place.Linens and bathrooms clean. Was able to book a 4bed for the 2 of us for some privacy. We were exhausted, slept well and felt safe. Bottom bunks have the better mattresses
Very busy and bustling but convenient location. Not always quiet with crazy guy outside on the street yelling four letter words for a VERY long time. Some sheets with holes, carpeting worn, and seemingly dirty and worn upholstered chair. Our 1st time at a hostel, we're retired and not so used to tatoos! A bit uncomfortable for us, but it was an experience and we felt safe. Windows and screens could use cleaning. Too many beggars on most corners
It is located right in front of Pike Market. Easy access to transportation around the city. Rooms and bathrooms were clean. They offer free earplugs! All staff members were friendly and courteous. Would definitely recommend to others!
My favorite things about this hostel are the curtains for every bed, for privacy ...and the great WiFi! Everything is clean, and the staff is very helpful!
Being so close to Pike Place Market means some nights are noisy, and it's hard to sleep.
Straightforward, modest accommodations at a modest price. Bathrooms w/ shower readily available for private use. Bunk bed style dorm rooms- each bed w/ privacy curtains, a light and a fan. Always an eclectic group of people from all over to make new friends with. Free breakfast daily and free dinner thrice weekly. What's not to like?
Bring earplugs if you aren't a heavy sleeper- lots of coming and going until around 2am when things quieted down- to be expected when the majority of visitors are young and single.
People at front desk were just a tad standoff-ish, awkward, and not the absolute best customer service I've had, but they were fine.
Great staff and I loved the free 'make yourself' breakfast
Noise from street and late arriving 'room mate' kept waking me up. Use the earplugs they offer at the front desk.
offering of free meals was a plus. having pancakes for breakfast as an option was definitely a warm welcome.
you have to rent a towel for bathing. cost is a dollar
Staff was extremely helpful. Also everyone I met was friendly. You could not beat the location.
Nothing. I highly recommend it.
Helpful staff. Comfortable berth. Good size room. Good breakfast. Excellent location.
Premises small and it appeared a bit crowded as a result
Value, amenities, breakfast, wifi in common area, availability of local info....
Staff were kind and helpful. Steve went out of his way finding me a bed, since I missed the check-in curfew. Then walked outside to confirm his directions to a preferred parking garage. Breakfast pancakes, eggs, fruit coffee and toast! On the house. Lots of energy. Make your reservation early.
No elevator to top bunk. Well when you're tired sleep comes easy. The entrance is between a group of panhandlers and some other savory characters, hold on to your wallets and bags.
Privacy curtain and personal fan/light was a nice little touch. Staff is probably the best I've even seen in this line of business. I don't think I've ever been accomidated soo well. Everyone seemed to genuinely care about the guests which was great. Will definitely stay there when I come back to Seattle and will tell friends as well.
Some dude kept opening the door a myriad amount of times but that is no fault of the staff just an individual and its somewhat to be expected.
The environment or location of the Hostel.
the toilet sits
Great location as it is located just opposite famous Pike Place Market. Very near to the bus transit area on 3rd and 4th avenue. The Sound Transit to the airport were also within walking distance. Most of the attractions in Seattle are within walking distance from the hostel. Huge locker under the bed provided as well.
The wifi only available at common area. It should make available in the rooms as well. Somehow during my stay this time, I having problem to connect to their wifi.
