Felt like I was staying in a victorian mansion, very exclusive and rich. The restaurant downstaris was exquisit and the staff very friendly and helpful.
Breakfast dishes from the previous day were left on the deck. Breakfast was barely satisfactory.
I liked the old building. It is charming. The restaurant was a great place to eat. The food was good and we had a guitar player serenade us.
It's location which is 4 blocks from the lake.
1. The continental breakfast. 2. The attitude of the person checking us in. 3. The very cramped shower/comode room. The sink was next to the bed. 4. The price was in excess of my perceived value of what the property is worth.
The dust and shabby furnishings Cold bagel (one cut I half) Messy refrigerator Old ice in freezer and a hair - yuk!
The quaintness of the B & B. And we did enjoy the wine that was left in our room.
Usually when we go to a B & B the owner(s) are there to serve us breakfast. I did miss that and getting the chance to talk to them.
Loved the location, the cozy atmosphere of the room and the looks of the nice restaurant on ground floor, although I didn't go there as I was meeting people at another location.
I could find no buttons or controls on the little electric stove in my room so was unable to use it -- I left a message on the cellphone no. on the door of my room but did not get called back until the following afternoon after I had left town. Also, I had noted on my reservation that I was allergic to nuts, but some of the breakfast items on my plate had nuts. I think when there is a solo traveler like myself it would mean less wasted food to leave only single portions of breads and fruits on the reserved plate -- my plate was enough for 2-3 people.
Home like atmosphere, really comforting.
U location and food D
Other than check in by a kid we ne er saw any one frlm inn Uncovered electric al outlet. Poor quality mattress and linens Dusty .hot tub was murky geen and smelled of mold
The location was excellent. Close to shopping, dining and lake front.
1. Security as the restaurant downstairs was open and the stairs up to our rooms were accessible by anyone. 2. Breakfast was disappointing. Was NOT freshly made. Had to make your own with frozen breakfast sandwiches full of preservatives, sour milk for coffee and the second day fridge was not restocked. Luckily I ran into the owner by chance so most items were restocked. The coffee machine was extremely dirty and glasses as well. Overall was not the special vacation I was looking for my parents milestone celebration - eating frozen waffles and stale 2 day old bread!
Great staff! Fun place. Great value.
Room was kind of small.
We ate our dinner at the Inn, it was excellent!
I am a hot breakfast person and the provided meal was cold. Sufficient to meet needs meaning a large bowl of fresh fruit and a plate of pastries.
breakfast is not exceptional
We liked the location and the bartender was friendly.
When we first checked in, a young man said we could not have dinner there. We just drove for 8 hours and appreciated the young lady who showed us our room and said dinner would not be a problem. The bed was awful and there were coffee grinds on the little kitchen floor. The TP was almost out with no refill. The breakfast was not very good and no cream for coffee. We expected more from a catering venue.
Vey comfortable room. Quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
Unfortunately the hot tub was non-operational and that was a minor disappointment. Checking out was also somewhat of a bother-Bank Debit Card was not usable for some unknown reason. Slightly over priced.
Great food, local music, historic charm, nice staff, close to everything and beyond everything else...all humbly displayed with unique charm. Would recommend to anyone and will come back as soon as possible!
great staff in the restaurant food was good nice location history of the home character of the home
parking isn't that great bed was not comfortable breakfast provided was not a good value
What a neat place to stay. With an amazing menu downstairs and the natural ingredients in the drinks we were in heaven. The old restored building was complimented by the clawfoot tub which is the best start to the day or end to the night. See you soon!
Modern feel in historic setting. Live music featuring nostalgic Beatles tunes. Nice restaurant/bar.
At first we were a little concerned, because of the old house but we really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere and how we felt like we had the place to ourselves even though others were staying there.
The breakfast was not that great, we think that they could have put a little more effort into that.
The decor and extremely Adorable charm of the whole Place
Nice, cozy room, wonderful dinner in the restaurant and our server, Brett was terrific.
Used facecloth left hanging in our shower from person before us and the coffee pot still had grounds and coffee dregs left from the day before....not very appealing way to start the morning.
Location, darling room, great place.
Not a real bed and breakfast. No staff on site in the morning, no cooked breakfast. No cream or milk for coffee or tea, just fake creamer.
It was great!
