Score from 46 reviews Wonderful
Friendly staff and very comfortable surroundings. Large attractive rooms and close to the slopes - we have always stayed on the Killington road previously but this was no less convenient.
We were glad we had bought our own pillows as we like big soft pillows. Having said that I'm sure if we had asked for more pillows they would have been provided.
It is week located, staff are nice. Nice atmosphere.
The breakfast really need improvement.
The staff is so outrageously friendly. I was greeted by name, and received nothing but the most pleasant service everyday. I'd feel wrong going back to killington and not staying at the greenbrier.
Nothing at all
-All of the Staffs were very helpful and amazing. -This Inn bring a welcome feeling. -Free Breakfast! -Free Coffee, Tea and Hot chocolate 24/7 -Room was extremely Cleaned and never ending hot shower! Plus PLUS
The Driveway down/ up from the Inn can be icy and it can be a bit of a challenge to drive up the driveway without AWD or snow tire or snow chain. Well it guess it normal since it Vermont during the winter and it been snowing everyday we were there.
Stay was to short
The perfect location for a Killington ski trip- we were out the door and on the mountain in 15 minutes. We got a great deal on lift tickets at the inn. Steve gave us great skiing tips!
The Greenbrier is located very close to the road leading to Killington and the hotel has the rustic mountain villa feel. The staff were so helpful and after a day of skiing you just need a quiet/clean place to put your feet up.
Staff (family) was really welcoming, accommodating and very kind. The temperature in the room was always perfect. Clean and well taken care of. Beautiful Swiss feeling of the lobby and dining area.
No such thing
The owners and staff were just genuinely nice people who wanted us to feel at home and enjoy our ski trip!!
That we had to leave!!! I will definitely vacation here again soon!
Warm atmosphere , nice service , reasonable price , super comfort bed
- The room was big and nice. - Very clean - Friendly staff
-Poor internet service. Very slow like the old day speed dail. Need to improve. If you are looking for internet service, do not stay here. - Basic and cold breakfast. Need to improve to hot breakfast with eggs and bacon.
This is a quintessential New England hotel and the staff was so friendly. They put out a great breakfast to help get our days started, and were always right there to answer any questions or offer suggestions. And the discounted lift tickets they offer were cheaper than anywhere else we could find. We loved staying here and won't stay anywhere else when we ski at Killington again.
I knew I would love my stay at the Greenbrier Inn from the start. As soon as we arrived, we were welcomed by Otto who took his time to describe the nearby attractions and made us feel at home. Our room was so beautiful and comfortable. The free continental breakfast was unlike any other. The location is excellent, just a short drive up the mountain to the lifts and many restaurants and bars and across the street there is a convenience store and liquor outlet. There are so many things I loved about the Greenbrier Inn but what I loved the most is that the staff (it's family owned and run) always went above and beyond to help us. They always made sure we knew where to go to enjoy our time in Killington, had Tylenol for me when the convenience store was closed and even pushed my car out of the snow when it became stuck after a storm. They did all of that with smiles on their faces and kindness in their hearts. I will definitely be staying here again!
The staff was beyond helpful, friendly and accommodating. It was clean and in a great location. The attached gift shop was amazing and we are not shoppers but enjoyed looking at all of the crafts and gifts. Bought a few presents. It was huge.
The walls are very thin. We heard our neighbors entire conversation and their tone seemed conversational. Fortunately, they retired early but their alarm went off early so they could hit the slopes. We were there to sleep in and were able to get back to sleep once they left. The bed was rather firm and they should have more than 2 pillows available in the room.
The owner was very nice and kind. Service was good and the room is comfortable. Very satisfied and I recommend to people who want to enjoy their trip at killing ton!
we loved everything,
Excellent facilities, Location and family run business with professional staff.
Mattress on bed not as firm as we'd have liked.
Real friendly staff right from the start everyone greeted you with a smile.
we were very happy with our stay
I did not find any thing that did not like
From our arrival, to the day we left, the hospitality and warmth shared by those at the Greenbrier was beyond our expectations! They were wonderful, and in my opinion should be the standard by which this industry is judged. We felt as if we were among family. Always friendly, at the ready to help point us in a good direction for seeing the sights in and around Killington.... they truly are on top of their game, and it shows. Bravo to all at the greenbrier... job very well done!!! Very Sincerely, T & J from New Jersey.
If there was a microwave in the dining area, to use to heat up our leftovers! But, not a big deal...
Hosts Otto and Steve were great, helpful, provided plenty of options and knowledge of the surrounding Vermont area and placed to eat. Continental breakfast was just right. Happy to recommend.
The location, very helpful hosts.
Very noisy exhaust fan- ours, next door & below.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
