Everything really. Really comfortable and will hopefully return one day.
Nothing to dislike unless you are the type that likes modern decor as it's cosy and homely.
The most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept in! I thank you. My lower back thanks you. The Greenbrier Inn rocks!
The staff at the Greenbrier were welcoming and most helpful. This is an older property, but it is being well maintained, including the landscaping. Rooms are spacious, and the small fridge in the room was welcome as we were travelling. We also appreciated our deck with a pleasant view. The breakfast included was most adequate.
Killington doesn't have much to offer mature travellers off season, although the proximity to the delightful town of Woodstock is a plus. Coffee making facilities in the room would had been welcome.
+ Lovely place with beautiful nature around + Friendly staff, helping wherever they can
Excellent staff, clean, cozy, large room with nice sitting area, same with eating area and sitting around fireplace wood burning stove for winter. Nice balcony to sit and enjoy nature. Great gift shop attached. Right across the street for deli and liquor store. Near restaurants, golf courses, and ski slops.
Bathroom and sink area small but functional.
Staff at the Inn were excellent and could not have been more helpful, warm and friendly reception with lots of advice and helpful tips on things to do & see in the area.
The owner very kind and helpful and do not miss the gift shop wonderfull!
Evèry thing. Great sight seeing.
everything was as expected
no snow.....only kidding ,we where there the last weekend of may for a graduation from middlebury
The Inn was exactly as presented and what we were looking for at the time. The staff and owner were professional and helpful. We will go back the next time we are staying in the area.
Feels like a B&B - only outdated
No hot tub. After skiing I need a good hot soak.
The Inn was clean and pretty. Room was big. Staff was very friendly :)
Breakfast was a selection of fruit and cereal or an English muffin. Not really enough for a skiing trip or the price of the room at all. TV was very small. Beds were ok but pillows were terrible. Walls and space between floors could definitely use soundproofing - did not get much rest as guest on second floor was up all night.
Friendly staff, always striving to go the extra mile. Relaxed homely atmosphere. Cake...we likka da cake. For those without a car or wanting to drink in the evening, there is a shuttle bus service that runs every hour. At $2 return, you get friendly service that will happy stop anywhere along the route.
When a ski hotel says it includes breakfast, I expect more than cold cereal. That is not a breakfast for people about to head out skiing, and they should say if it is only a continental breakfast. If they had, I would have chosen a different hotel at Killington as there are plenty of places that include a full hot breakfast. So I felt that was not full disclosure and was pretty disappointing when we got up in the morning after driving up much of the night in a big snowstorm.
The owner Steve and his staff are extremely welcoming, everything was perfect, this place is highly recommended. Le propriétaire Steve et son équipe sont extrêmement accueillants, tout était parfait, cet endroit est à recommander fortement.
Nothing / Rien
The location to Killington Mountain was excellent. Both Steve and Otto went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Their advice for restaurant selections was terrific and their knowledge of the area and the mountain allowed us to maximize our enjoyment while exploring. The rooms were large, clean and housekeeping kept them in great shape every day.We will stay here again when we return next year.
The room was absolutely charming - plenty of space and very comfortable. Also, every amenity was thought of and handled in true B&B fashion, including trays of cookies left out to greet you upon returning from the slopes and a staff ready to offer dining tips while making you a cup of hot tea. It is a stellar place and we'll be back!
The water out of the tap tastes awful. I was so glad they had bottled water available.
Great and friendly service.
The staff was extremely friendly. The continental breakfast was nice, and coffee and tea were available all day. The single room I stayed in was huge; plenty of space and even a couch to relax on while enjoying the free WiFi. The inn is a very quick drive from Killington and Pico, right across the street from a convenience store, and close to many restaurants.
Outstanding personal touch by all the staff.
Staff were very pleasant. The room was a good size and spacious. All in all was a great experience
Bathroom needs to be bigger and there needs to be a kettle available for use in the rooms
Staff were genuinely concerned to ensure we had a great time. Good value for money
A little isolated on location which meant we had to drive out for dinner etc - providing at location dining options could help with this.
friendly owners making you feel like at home
The owners are a warm and friendly family. They make you feel at home during your stay. We would definitely go back!
Everything was great, the best staff by far of any hotel or Inn I have stayed in arpund the world.
The noise from the room above us was quite bad as the Inn has wooden floors and I think Bigfoot may have been staying up there....but a minor problem overall, ask for a room on the top floor to acoid this issue.
