Smell of smoke. Remote didn't work. Rooms badly need remodeling.
I took my husband to surprise him with a night out, and decided to stay the night somewhere. So I found this grand hotel...From 10pm to 6am I was kept up by loud rap music in the room beside me, along with yelling, fighting, and laughing. I called the front desk at 2:30am and that worked for about 30 minutes. There was a point when they were fighting while leaning against my hotel door. So I was afraid to leave, or call front desk again, because I didn't want them to know it was me calling on them (which I told the person at 2:30am that I was afraid to call) I called the manager the next day and she said it was my fault because I didn't call the front desk more. She also said that I should expect that on a busy night. So not only is it my job to stay awake by the phone and have to call the front desk multiple times to control their guests, but I also should expect to not sleep in their hotel. She called her owner and they said the same thing...it was my fault. I guess one complaint that I was afraid and could not sleep wasn't enough for them? The manager did nothing for my experience aside from blame me for my bad night in their hotel. Do not stay here unless you plan to call front desk all night. Also, bring some pepper spray so if you choose to leave from the loud thugs next door, you will make it to your car safely.
It was so peaceful
Wi Fi kept going out
Wonderful continental breakfast, very friendly staff, clean and well maintained
Toilet wouldn't flush
Loved the friendliness and awesome staff that's there! Love the cleanliness and comfortable bed! #AMAZING
Staff was nice. The room and bed comfortable. I liked the room. It was cozy. More towels would be nice and the soap bars break easily. Better quality soap would be nice and a hair dryer.
Breakfast ends too early:( it would be nice to have breakfast available till 1130am.
I liked the fact that it was very inexpensive ($46 for one night) and that the freeway entrance was 1 minute away.
It's a rather old and dated motel, but it is kept clean. The breakfast was mediocre at best.
- Friendly staff even at 1 am. - Complimentary breakfast.
The staff was nice.
Super thin walls, Poor Water pressure, dirty bathroom, no shampoo, dirty cup under the bed, bed slouched in the middle.
This is an older motel that is showing its age. Moreover the maintenance is minimal. There was coffee in the room but no coffee maker. We were supplied with a single thin plastic cup. The TV was an old tube model. Worst of all, the smoke detector was disconnected--just wires hanging from the ceiling. Definitely not recommended.
We get together twice a month and Fairview has been the best in Greensboro do far
Most of the amenities are good
Rate could be cheaper based on location lack of parking spaces
It was just a wonderful hotel for a great price.
It was inexpensive
It smelled like someone had been smoking in the room.
The beds were great.
We didn't like the airplanes flying over while we slept.
service and comfort
Breakfast leaves something less then to be desired.
. It was clean and people were friendly.
Our room was right next to semi trucks who slept in there cab all night w engine running. Our room only had one set of towels and it took awhile to get them
The rooms were noisy. The floors squeaked when you walked on them and people in other rooms were very noisy
the breakfast room was nicely done and food was adequate and good.
The pricing was excessive due to the convention, took two days and three requests to get the sink where it would drain. That task did work and thanked the office attendant. No adequate table space for me to place my laptop to work but did manage. I will only return if there are no other rooms in town.
Loved the staff + silk florals
Decent beds. Not unreasonable rates for Market.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday night until 1:00 am there is pounding music. Rooms are old but basically maintained. Old TVs and furniture.
Did not change towels, make bed or clean until 3rd day.
The price The booking process
Shower water pressure was bad No cups or soap Not enough outlets Not enough tv channels, gonna need a laptop here buddy Bedspread had a cigarette hole in it Bathtub was dirty (hair in tub and sink)
