My short stay.
I love everything about it.
Only hot breakfast item was waffles, no eggs. Fruit bowl had apples and oranges, but they were not fresh. As a result, I went out for breakfast each day of my 4 night stay. Bathroom sink/counter was lower than normal and sink's water pressure was too low. However, the shower pressure was fine. Note, there's an airport close by, so there is plane noise, but I only noticed it a few times a day in the morning, sometime after 7am.
For the price, the bed was ok. The location was convenient for me.
This is an old property with no amenities. For the money expect to hear everything outside your door including drunk guest, planes flying extremely close and whatever happens in the room next to you. They keep the place clean but the entire establishment is in desperate need of a makeover.
There was hair in the tub, A baggy on the floor, a small straw on the floor, and a cigarette wrapper on the floor. There was hair on the pillows and burn marks on the comforter. No coffeemaker but there was coffee in the room? Alerted staff of dirtiness and they didnt care. Also alerted them our key to the door didnt work to the hotel manager and she also was not concerned. Will not stay again.
The bed was comfortable..
1St off my family got ate up w/ fleas or bedbugs what ever they were. The night auditors name mike is racist. My boyfriend & I went up front to get drinks for the kids, smile was just coming in from helping someone I guess he stands at the door & allows a white guy to walk in but blocks the door & asks us if he could help us I said we have a room here already thank you & he lets us in. I will never stay at the hotel ever again!!!!!!
Comfort and safety
The bed wasn't the most comfortable thing in the world. But it wasn't terrible. It was also during an icy front and I wish more care had been taken on salting the stairways.
The staff was definitely friendly and more than helpful. The rooms were also clean which was my biggest worry.
Smell of smoke. Remote didn't work. Rooms badly need remodeling.
I took my husband to surprise him with a night out, and decided to stay the night somewhere. So I found this grand hotel...From 10pm to 6am I was kept up by loud rap music in the room beside me, along with yelling, fighting, and laughing. I called the front desk at 2:30am and that worked for about 30 minutes. There was a point when they were fighting while leaning against my hotel door. So I was afraid to leave, or call front desk again, because I didn't want them to know it was me calling on them (which I told the person at 2:30am that I was afraid to call) I called the manager the next day and she said it was my fault because I didn't call the front desk more. She also said that I should expect that on a busy night. So not only is it my job to stay awake by the phone and have to call the front desk multiple times to control their guests, but I also should expect to not sleep in their hotel. She called her owner and they said the same thing...it was my fault. I guess one complaint that I was afraid and could not sleep wasn't enough for them? The manager did nothing for my experience aside from blame me for my bad night in their hotel. Do not stay here unless you plan to call front desk all night. Also, bring some pepper spray so if you choose to leave from the loud thugs next door, you will make it to your car safely.
Wi Fi kept going out
It was so peaceful
Toilet wouldn't flush
Wonderful continental breakfast, very friendly staff, clean and well maintained
Loved the friendliness and awesome staff that's there! Love the cleanliness and comfortable bed! #AMAZING
Breakfast ends too early:( it would be nice to have breakfast available till 1130am.
Staff was nice. The room and bed comfortable. I liked the room. It was cozy. More towels would be nice and the soap bars break easily. Better quality soap would be nice and a hair dryer.
It's a rather old and dated motel, but it is kept clean. The breakfast was mediocre at best.
I liked the fact that it was very inexpensive ($46 for one night) and that the freeway entrance was 1 minute away.
- Friendly staff even at 1 am. - Complimentary breakfast.
Super thin walls, Poor Water pressure, dirty bathroom, no shampoo, dirty cup under the bed, bed slouched in the middle.
The staff was nice.
This is an older motel that is showing its age. Moreover the maintenance is minimal. There was coffee in the room but no coffee maker. We were supplied with a single thin plastic cup. The TV was an old tube model. Worst of all, the smoke detector was disconnected--just wires hanging from the ceiling. Definitely not recommended.
We get together twice a month and Fairview has been the best in Greensboro do far
Rate could be cheaper based on location lack of parking spaces
Most of the amenities are good
It was just a wonderful hotel for a great price.
It smelled like someone had been smoking in the room.
It was inexpensive
We didn't like the airplanes flying over while we slept.
The beds were great.
Breakfast leaves something less then to be desired.
service and comfort
Our room was right next to semi trucks who slept in there cab all night w engine running. Our room only had one set of towels and it took awhile to get them
. It was clean and people were friendly.
