The staff was very solicitous and helpful
The welcome! Couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful - fantastic service!
Very friendly and helpful staff. HUGE rooms that are very well kept!
The entire experience at Grenoble House was tremendous. This will be the first place we will look to stay in all of our future trips to NOLA.
The wifi wasn't the best, but we didn't need it very often anyways.
Great location, big room w kitchen, caring staff, coffee n treats always ready Vince and the rest of the staff were really concerned you have a good time. It is just 1 block away from bourbon st so you are close to the action but not too close, plus it is 3/blocks away from canal st so you can quickly connect outside french quarter.
Friendly staff. Cozy facilities. Silent and spatious room.
Weak shower. Small cabinet in the bathroom.
the staff were awesome. Very accomodating, helpful addressing any of your needs. The room was huge. Having the kitchen was a plus especially to have a full size fridge- for our drinks and groceries. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. Location was awesome- very central close to bourbon and everywhere you would want to walk. Felt safe even with all girls in the group.
I have nothing to bad to say. For some having to climb up stairs without an elevator may be a negative but it's part of the charm of staying in an old historic building. Of course during Mardi Gras there is some street noise but again this did not bother us- part of the experience.
The building and grounds are just beautiful. Perfect location. Staff is exceptional. Room was beautiful and had everything that we could possibly need. Loved the coffee every morning (fruit and danish as well) and the afternoon cake. Perfect location. Could not ask for anything more and wouldn't want to stay anywhere else!
The staff. Beyond helpful, beyond nice. True definition of southern hospitality. Plus, you cannot beat the location (one street away from Bourbon) in the French Quarter.
There was absolutely nothing I didn't like about my stay at the Grenoble House.
I like the space. So much bigger than a hotel room and it was great to have space to unwind and relax, like being at home!
My boyfriend and I recently stayed at the Grenoble House during Mardi Gras 2015. We had a fantastic time! The staff here is always available, always friendly and helpful and treated us like they would good friends. Having two rooms with a full kitchen was so convenient and rare! We kept leftovers which we could heat up later and kept beers cold in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable; the bedding wonderful.
The only issue was keeping the lower floor warm. We were in a 2-level suite and the temperature outside was in the low 40s. If the upstairs was 70 the lower level was 60. We had to blast the heat into the 80s for the lower level to be comfortable but then of course the upstairs was unbearably warm. In the summer months I can imagine that the lower level would be wonderfully cool. We will probably be returning for Jazz Fest in 2016 and will likely stay here again pending availability. :)
Excelent accommodation.Have stayed in over a dozen different places in NOLA and this was the best
They didn't give me a hug when I left lol JK
Wonderful staff which made you feel at home, and took time to answer questions any time we had them.
Location,suite itself, staff
The hotel is just one block away from Burbon street, and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
The room I was in was not very well insulated so we could hear our neighbors talking as the passed by the room. It sounded like they were actually in the room. It actually woke me from a sound sleep, and I have literally slept through a hurricane.
Not only are the facilities esthetically charming and first rate, they are impeccably maintained by the staff. And that staff along with the proprietors are so helpful, warm and welcoming....a great all around experience. I can't recommend it highly enough.
This place is fantastic. Friendly staff with great suites that include full kitchens close to Bourbon BUT secluded from the madness of it! We had a 1br suite that was 2 levels with entrance from the outdoor walkway decks on each level. Inside, a spiral staircase was the access. We loved the charm and cleanliness of the property. If we go back to NO, this will be the spot!
loved it all
The location was perfect, staff friendly, rooms were comfortable with lots of little extras. Would stay there again
Very comfortable, tall bed. Convenient kitchenette stocked with everything needed. Tons of living space. Continental breakfast was sufficient.
Weak wi-fi. Windows need soundproofing.
spread out floor plan, with enough space for gathering prior to tackling Bourbon St.
Nearby Parking was unavailable.
When we booked the two bedroom suite for a week, we had no idea they did not allow children (lots of stairs and a pool without a gate Vic explained upon arrival). We were warmly welcomed despite this and very pleased with our stay. The staff here is the very best. I've stayed at several hotels in the French Quarter over the years. Everyone is kind and helpful. They had excellent dinner suggestions (which was helpful since we had to forgo all fine dining). Mark was my favorite staff member, although everyone is amazing. The suite itself was beautiful, spacious, clean, with a full kitchen. We had more than enough space and were very comfortable. The beds were great and the noise level was surprisingly low, even on busier nights. I look forward to another great stay here in the future sans kiddos.
I booked this room (apartment really) as I had read very good reviews. I wasn't in the least disappointed. Very well-appointed, inside and out. Property is larger than it seems with a very well-maintained pool, sauna and garden. It is quiet. The people (owners and staff) opulent have been more helpful. I would gladly go again. So much nicer than these huge vacuous hotels.
I would suggest to anyone going, to make sure you bring a phone, as there are no telephones in the room. My sister who joined me fortunately brought hers and had no problems using it, but since I have a pay-as-you-go phone from the UK I couldn't use it as the cost would have been prohibitive.
Loved the personalized front door service and key check. Two story room with spiral staircase Exposed brick walls
Thanksgiving Football on an HD TV with Analog signal. (Hint: Bring Ear plugs...party goers can be up all night!) -- Nothing against the hotel, just a reminder for guests!
