The location is top 10 minutes away from the slopes. We had a 4 people room and there was enough space. The rooms are basic but comfortable especially considering the price. Breakfast was better than we expected. The common areas with the fireplace and pool table are nice if one wants to hang out in the evening without going out.

Where's the bacon at Breakfast?
Staff were very accommodating (girlfriend was injured and they bent over backwards to help) 'Olivia's Pub' is a cosy spot to wind down and play board games after dinner. Breakfast was included and delicious. Extremely close (5 min drive) to Killington & Pico
Bed was a little hard.
The location and the friendliness of the staff were wonderful.
We stayed here about ten years ago and I think it's due for some sprucing up.
We stayed for two nights of a holiday weekend. The location was very convenient and the price was great. We stayed in two of the ground-level rooms, which I believe are lower-priced than the upper floors, and since we were there to ski and not stay in the room, I would highly recommend them. If you want a view, these are not your rooms. Beds were comfy and once we found the thermostats, we were plenty warm in the rooms. There is a nice fireplace and round sofa and a cozy living room for apres ski.
Overall the stay was great. I guess my only negative would be that the "nonsmoking" signs on the rooms seemed to be ignored by some of the other guests.
Warm and friendly
toilets dont flush properly.
Traveled here with a group of friends (mid 20s) for a weekend of skiing at Killington. The staff was incredible- really great guys- super helpful, delicious breakfast, clean rooms.. all around a great time. Also very close to the mountain and bars, etc.
Owner went out of his way to make our New Years Eve Celebration great!
Great staff, good sized room, nice communal lounge area and bar with a roaring fire.
The restaurant was not operating, and there are no other restaurants or pubs in walking distance. The bed had roll together, and the pillows were pretty old, and lumpy.
It's a short drive to killington mountain. The owner Paul is very nice. The bar was cheap. There's a cute living room area for all guests to enjoy. Breakfast was good.
The beds weren't very comfortable. The restaurant on site was only opened for breakfast due to not enough staff, wish it was opened for dinner. After skiing all day, I would even settle for frozen pizza as a room service option (that wouldn't require much staff)
Booked this inn despite reading all the negative reviews about the owner. Thankfully, he turned out to be friendly and helpful. I personally really liked the fireplace in the common area. The actual rooms are fairly standard, neither positive nor negative. The location was convenient, as it is less than 5-10 miles from Pico and Killington. Needless to say, we enjoyed our stay. We rented our ski/boarding equipment at Root's, which was on the way to Killington, as suggested by the owner of the Inn, and the excellent and friendly staff helped expeditiously fit us with equipment in great (if not pristine) condition. To top it off, the rentals were very reasonably priced!! Very satisfied with our entire trip, thanks to the Inn & its owner. :]
The eggs at breakfast needs a little lift. Maybe if they partnered with a VT cheese company, they'd be able to use it in their eggs & sell it on the side, too! It'd make a great gift/souvenir.
Quiet, nice breakfast, helpful staff
Hard bed, no restaurant or pool/hot tub (false advertising), bathroom needed updating, TVs were from the 90s, balcony was rotted so you couldn't go on it and window didn't shut all the way, when we left we came back to a cold room- the maid set the thermostat to way below the "comfort" range. The basement was full of black mold so we avoided playing the old games down there or visiting the cute little library
BREAKFAST ROOM IS DARK - AND LEAKS NEED TO BE FIXED - OR NOT MADE OPEN TO PUBLIC- THINGS BREAK - BUT THEY NEED TO BE FIXED OR HIDDEN
Breakfast was great. Cute place and the manager was very welcoming.
The entire place was old, but well kept up.
The inn was quaint, decorated with antiques. It was just what we were looking for. Paul, the owner, was very personable and helpful and made a great breakfast. We very much enjoyed our stay.
A lovely little inn with loads of character. A large sitting room with a fireplace, a fully stocked bar and lounge, as well as a pool table, ping pong table, sauna/hot tub, and outdoor pool. Appropriately decorated with rural antiques - so quaint! Delicious complimentary breakfast. Magnificent views on all 4 sides of the adjacent National Forest.
My only complaint - the scarce selection of tv channels. 25 cable channels are available, but none of the 4 major networks and no ESPN.
Enjoyed the happy welcome we received, nice owners. Very comfortable room and bed. Bathroom could be up dated however. Lovely location. A definite ski lodge atmosphere.
Location, Facilities. Meal, Staff
I really liked the living room on the main floor. The host was a neat guy, and had a good sense of humor. The rooms were nice. Good breakfast!
Owner was great, more than what we expected......
The bed- while sleeping you rolled towards middle of bed.
the breakfast, the staff, and the location
hard to regulate hot water, no phones in room
There was nothing wrong with this visit at all. Everything from Check in to check out was perfect.
Wifi was iffy but that is first world problems right? Ha
Close to Killington Mountain
Owner was rude. Place was run down, out dated. Mold in the basement? Hot tub closed, owner closed common areas, bar not open...I could go on & on
We called because we were arriving late. They left our key plus a friendly note at the desk. Very nice.
