The brick walls and sink in my room were cool. Did not come close to making up for what a terrible place it is. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. I was in Great Falls for one night as I was on a shopping trip. Just needed an inexpensive place to stay the night. I read other reviews before staying that said "it's a bit sketchy from the outside but the rooms have been redone". Do not let that mislead you. Sketchy does not come close to describing how disgusting and not safe this place is. I was very nervous when I arrived and asked where a safe place was to park my car. The owner reassured me that they have video surveillance and no one can sneeze without her knowning. She said it's such good video that the cops even use it. I started thinking, um, how often and why do the cops need it! Thankfully my room was right around the corner from the front desk. I would have been deathly afraid to walk through the building (which is similar to an apt building in a ghetto hood - we do not have too many of those in mt). My room was mostly remodeled with a really cool sink, but the floor was filthy. Shortly after bringing in my luggage I heard a fight over drugs go down in the hall. The power flickered off and on, continuously. I am a smoker but rented a non- smoking room as I do not like smoking inside. I was hesitant to leave my room but with anxiety building I needed a cig. I asked the owner where was a safe place for me to smoke. She came unglued telling me I was the second young lady that asked this. (Whew, I'm not alone in feeling unsafe!) But then was reprimanded because I didn't read the terms and conditions that said a smoker can't rent a non-smoking room as the smell on my body would be absorbed by the brick walls and they would have to ionize my room. I replied that I wasn't going to smoke inside, just wanted to step outside - was told I couldn't smoke anywhere on the property. I asked if I could go in the street and she continued to flip out.

It was a very nice, comfortable, more homey type room than other hotels. Very nice decor. Very thin walls. We were right next to the front desk and so it was quite noisy, but only the first night, until 11:30. It seemed quieter the second night.

The price and location was right for a one night stay. Upon arriving we were also upgraded to a larger room at no extra cost. Parts of the motel were dark and dingy as they were in the process of renovating.

The room was nice, more than expected when first seeing the facility. It was clean. The bed was comfortable. The room floors were laminate and tile, a plus. The woman at the front desk was kind and helpful for directions etc. The exterior of the building; it looked rundown, but on the bright side, the building was in the midst of a remodel. The carpet in the hallways was dirty. Hopefully at the end of the remodel the carpet will be replaced.

Great value for money and top notch customer service. We arrived two hours after normal check-in times ended and were met with a smile and very professional service. Ignore what the outside of the building looks like, this hotel is a gem of a budget hotel!

I am well traveled, and the service at the Greystone was the best I have ever received. The staff went out of their way to accomodate my every need - without being asked! They were friendly, courteous, and paid meticulous attention to detail. The room was elegant, with towels that would put the Hilton chain to shame!

Incredibly nice staff! Wall fireplace was too close to bed. There wasn't enough room to walk next to bed. There was the potential of someone burning themselves.

We received a brand new renovated King room. I liked the idea of the new hard wood floors, made me feel clean. And the white brick walls. Everything in the room was very nice, I wish we could have had one of the fireplace King rooms as was on their site but everything was really nice. The bed was so comfortable! They will be renovating the outside which is good, when we drove up we really wondered what we were getting into! But the girl at the front desk apologized, cold weather came in and they had to postpone the rest of renovations. Nice, very nice indeed, though. Can't really say too much against it except maybe.... They needed to redo the toilet seat, was old and bumpy and looked like they tried to paint over it. After the other nice things in the room, this was a surprise. But that would be the only thing wrong.

The people were very nice and the room was updated nicely. They should have spent a little extra money to update the tub & toilet. They would recoup their investment. i know they are still renovating, but they should paint the doors of the rooms. As they elevator doors open, you question your choice.

Dirty, the blinds were so dirty you didn't want to touch them. Couldn't open window because of the amount of dirt in the tracks. The fire detector had been painted over, so there was no sensor. Floor had not been washed, light bulbs missing out of lamps. Generally a very dirty, old old hotel, that even from the outside was very un-looked after. Would never suggest this hotel to anyone even if it was free!!!!!

There were many things we enjoyed about the Greystone Inn. The general manager was very friendly and helpful in all aspects, whether is was regarding something she could provide us for the stay or making phone calls to specific stores to enquire about their hours of operation. She even gave us information (i.e. websites) regarding some of the amazing decor she had purchased. The price definitely was right and fresh coffee first thing in the morning. We don't expect this to be our last visit to this place. Please, do not judge this book by its cover!

The room was very clean, newly remodeled. Very comfortable. Very pleasant. Big, nice furniture, bed was comfortable. Very nice room. The location was scary. It was down town and at first I wondered what I got myself into. I came in the afternoon and couldn't find anyone around. I had to return later. When I did, she showed me the room and it was very nice. But the noise outside late into the night was scary for me being a woman alone. Also I never could get the internet to work.
