Score from 65 reviews Excellent
bed was comfortable, water hot
dirty sink and shower no heat in the bathroom cold air blowing out of the mutilated heat unit refridgerator by head of bed with motor running (noisy) light on microwave on top of refridgerator shines in your eyes. Cold, cold, cold space!!
Stood in the lobby for 30 minutes at 2:30 in afternoon. No one answered bell, phone, or my calling out for someone. Went to Best Western next door and for about $5 more got great service and a clean room.
loud drunks outside of room in early morning hours. room needs cleaning, smelled of smoke for a nonsmoking room.
I liked the friendliness of the staff.
The overall cleanliness of this place was not good. The pillows need to be replaced, they offer little comfort.
This place is a dump and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
a sad run down inn - should be put out of its misery
power outlets exposed doors broke didn't close ceiling falling
Bathroom window not safe no lock available Bathtub dirty need to scrub Pillow cases and or pillow smelled as previously used
Stayed two nights. Had to ask for clean towels. Nobody cleaned our room or took out trash. It was dusty. Tub wouldn't drain. Dirty.
Clean, quiet, and reasonable.
isn't updated. it's a bit worn out.
Had microwave, hair dryer, laundry facilities. Clean and tidy. Old hotel, so can't expect much
Room a bit smelly
Cheap & easy to find.
If you get in late you might have to stand outside for 15min while sleepy staff fumbles around. Weird.
NOT TO MUCH
NEEDS TO BE UPDATED
Great location on main highway near hospital and college.
Water and debris backed up in tub, toilet barely worked, Kleenex used to block missing peep hole lens, stained sheets and towels, patched bathroom ceiling from leaks... And when complained about - nothing done.
Fridge and microwave in room. Easy access from highway.
Sheets and pillowcases had stains. Shower did not drain. Toilet was dirty. Two plungers were stacked in the corner of the bathroom...gross. Tub had holes where the overflow should be, and the stopper was missing. All the baseboards had been ripped off but not replaced. Not enough towels in the room. The front door had a hole, filled with tissue, where the peephole should have been. All surfaces looked spotty and dirty. Breakfast was disappointing--only dry cereal and a gallon of milk; no fruit or juice; and they had no mix for the waffle maker.
Rooms are old and not kept up.
Size and comfort of room.
The linens were disgusting. Pillowcases were grey, handtowel the colour of an old bruise (yellow/grey), bath towel had a black ring as though someone had put down a greasy black tin of something on it, dead centre, too. Housekeeper had left his beer in our fridge and knocked the door to retrieve it. When confronted with stained linen he offered to change them. The hotel has a sign in the window that it is under new management. I would suggest the housekeeping staff are not being managed at all. The basics are to have everything spotless, including the linens! Grizzly, please address this immediately.
bed was not comfy for me.dirty carpet and smelled of old smoke
It wasn't very clean. The pillows on the bed felt like lumps of styrofoam put in a pillowcase. the bed was ok. The whole room had a smell to it that we didn't notice until we turned off the air conditioner.
Well because others were getting the same price some even lower at other Hotels, and this showed to be the lowest Motel in Alamosa. We were just there for my Grandmother's Funeral.
The staff was very friendly and the rooms were nice.
A little unorganized the first day that we were there. We got there around 3pm and the rooms were still not clean, but other than that it was a great stay.
It was the cheapest thing I could find on short notice.
Fitted mattress sheet was too small so body parts ended up on bare mattress. Windows were in bad need of repair and could not be opened very much. Carpets had small bits of pebbles and such- perhaps not vacuumed or need new vacuum equipment. Prior customer's hair on bathroom and shower walls- inattention to standard housekeeping details.
