The staff were very friendly. They checked us in two hours early. The room was big and clean and nicely dexorsted. The bathroom was huge with a beautiful big bath tub. Very close to town. Would recommend this to hotel to anyone.
We were very pleased to find Guadalupe Inn and would recommend it to anyone going to Santa Fe that wants to be within walking distance of downtown and pay a reasonable price. Staff was very pleasant. The owner said they were doing some updating, which will only improve the place, but we found it adequate as is. Much nicer than large chain hotels.
We were made very welcome and the location is very convenient. We particularly liked the spicy muffins for breakfast! A great introduction to Santa Fe.
The hotel needs some "refreshing". The bathroom had been updated and was clean, but I can't say as much about the rest of the room, which definitely needs new beds and linens. Breakfast was also a disappointment.
Great staff! They were helpful, friendly and smiling. Good location close to attractions. Well-decorated, comfortable room. Continental breakfast with delicious muffins homemade by the great staff.
The room could have used a clock and extra pillows.
Our stay at Guadalupe Inn was outstanding. Everyone made us feel at home. The breakfast was great ... the homemade green chile muffins are delicious. Our room was very comfortable, and any request was handled at once. The staff made great recommendations for restaurants, and always asked about our adventures. We will definitely go back!
The Guadalupe Inn was such a charming place to stay. The location was wonderful as you could walk in less than a half an hour to the Plaza, the Railroad District and the Capitol. Also the hosts were very accomodating. The manager made a special trip to get us ice before he went home for the day. : )
Breakfast did not start until 8 a.m. 7 a.m. would be better for those who want to be on the road to their next destination.
My wife and I stayed here this last weekend and all the staff were great from David to the house keeping staff it was only a 10 minute walk to see the sites/shopping and good eats. When we come back to Santa Fe we'll be staying here again and want to thank everyone for a great stay!! Bryan and Cheri Denver
Good value for the location which is within walking distance of the plaza. Staff very courteous.
Housekeeping services could have been better. A pile of clean towels and a new roll of toilet paper were just left on the unmade bed each day.
This is one of those places that you come across once and a while in your travels that you look forward to returning to. The staff show that they are this place, from the way they make sure you are taken care of from your arrival to your departure, nothing to small or to large for your well being.
Walking distance to the main points of interest.
The location was off the beaten path and a nice walk to the major sights. The room was simple, but clean. Plenty of parking off the street. The staff was warm, welcoming and attentive.
It would have been nice to have a small refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Having two chairs in the room would have allowed for comfortable seating, rather than rely on the bed.
Personal assistance from staff. Bed comfy; room was large with small patio opening to street.
No clock in room. Room was next to rather noisy street, but using the A/C solved that problem.
Great hotel with excellent facilities.
location & staff
1st room outdated -2nd room much better but still 2 star
The hotel was different from the usual . Interesting décor. Excellent breakfast.
Rather poor lighting in our room.
Location was perfect and reception very helpful with a map of the town. Great breakfast. Nicely set back of the road and quiet.
Room we had was a little tired looking could do with an update and a bit of a better clean as a bit dusty in some places!
The location, the ambience, the feel and look of the place. The short walk to the square.
The mattresses were very old and uncomfortable.
Leahi, the night manager, was extremely helpful and courteous. The owners aw well.
New bath amenities were not placed the 2nd, 3rd and 4th day. I had to complain, to have shampoo etc in the bathroom again. Dust and hair, in both the room and the bathroom, were never taken away. Sleep was not confortable.
The staff was more than accommodating to our special needs. Guadalupe Inn was absolutely charming and comfortable. We would certainly return.
I would have liked an ice machine available and extra pillows. Kleenex would be nice as well.
Convenient to entertainment and shopping
Beds were old and worn out. TVs were old. Image quality was poor. Very few stations available. However channel selection was huge. (Read, they went for basic service). No evening staff available for anything. They expect you to call someone and wait until somebody drives over. No parking available in evenings. Very limited availability.
The close proximity to the plaza for half the price of other places in the same vicinity.
The comfort of the beds left a bit to be desired (really need upgrading). Bathroom is a bit dated
Room was comfortable. Nice breakfast. Staff friendly.
Price was twice as high due to the special event in town.
