easy walk to the plaza/restaurants, great value!!!
Location style hospitality
The woman with the little kids, working the front desk was very rude!!!!
Cleanliness, homey atmosphere, reasonable rates, delicious breakfast muffins, good coffee
The driveway entrance needs some lighted sign. Hard to find the place at night even with gps. If electric power is not available at the entrance, I suggest solar-powered sign.
We liked the quaintness, comfort & atmosphere of our room. Daniel was very helpful by waiting for us (late check-in) and then directing us to an amazing restaurant. The breakfast with it's homemade chili corn muffins topped off our stay. We were very pleasantly satisfied with the Guadalupe Inn!
1. Close to City Center 2. Quiet 3. Covered Parking 4. Clean 5. Good Value 6. Pre-Approved Pet after calling hotel 7. Employees very friendly
1. Bed stiff and bouncy 2. Floor Heating slow to warm-up room and slow to cool off 3. Air Conditioner noisy 4. No phone to be able to make local calls or call front the desk 5. Have to go to the front desk for ice
Good location---walking distance to plaza, galleries and restaurants. Can't beat the price; helpful and friendly staff, decent continental breakfast
Overall, the facilities need an infusion of cash for things like room furniture, mattresses, worn carpeting, exterior painting; cable TV package was inadequate for getting even basic channels.
The hotel is located within walking distance of downtown which allowed me to have cocktails without having to drive. The hotel is down the street ftom a great restaurant I just discovered called Joseph's. I was very happy for a quiet and relaxing atmosphere without the cost and crowds of the majority of downtown hotels. Will definitely return.
I could easily hear the next door guests through the walls.
The room design was a very nicely done southwestern style, large and clean. Loved the location, private and quiet.
It had a awesome open canopy bed but the matress wasn't real comfortable.
Room was small
Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful and very guest focused.
The property is simply 'tired'. It needs renovation of carpets, shower fixtures, and a complete replacement of the tube tv's. It seemed dated in so many respects.
Helpfulness of the staff. Feeling a part of the hotel family. Warm and welcoming. Great rooms!
The Inn was in a wonderful location to the main square in Sante Fe. It was extremely quiet, the staff was very helpful and pleasant, breakfast had everything you'd want for a continental buffet. The room was comfortable for a single person. I would go back.
The lighting in the room could be better. Several light bulbs were out which would have helped.
Breakfast, walking distance to Plaza, free parking, great coffee, patio outside our room.
Bed was hard, pillows poor. Didn't sleep well. Room wasn't totally clean after second night. I don't think they cleaned the sink.
location. Close to the plaza.
The staff were very friendly. They checked us in two hours early. The room was big and clean and nicely dexorsted. The bathroom was huge with a beautiful big bath tub. Very close to town. Would recommend this to hotel to anyone.
We were very pleased to find Guadalupe Inn and would recommend it to anyone going to Santa Fe that wants to be within walking distance of downtown and pay a reasonable price. Staff was very pleasant. The owner said they were doing some updating, which will only improve the place, but we found it adequate as is. Much nicer than large chain hotels.
We were made very welcome and the location is very convenient. We particularly liked the spicy muffins for breakfast! A great introduction to Santa Fe.
The hotel needs some "refreshing". The bathroom had been updated and was clean, but I can't say as much about the rest of the room, which definitely needs new beds and linens. Breakfast was also a disappointment.
Great staff! They were helpful, friendly and smiling. Good location close to attractions. Well-decorated, comfortable room. Continental breakfast with delicious muffins homemade by the great staff.
The room could have used a clock and extra pillows.
Our stay at Guadalupe Inn was outstanding. Everyone made us feel at home. The breakfast was great ... the homemade green chile muffins are delicious. Our room was very comfortable, and any request was handled at once. The staff made great recommendations for restaurants, and always asked about our adventures. We will definitely go back!
The Guadalupe Inn was such a charming place to stay. The location was wonderful as you could walk in less than a half an hour to the Plaza, the Railroad District and the Capitol. Also the hosts were very accomodating. The manager made a special trip to get us ice before he went home for the day. : )
Breakfast did not start until 8 a.m. 7 a.m. would be better for those who want to be on the road to their next destination.
My wife and I stayed here this last weekend and all the staff were great from David to the house keeping staff it was only a 10 minute walk to see the sites/shopping and good eats. When we come back to Santa Fe we'll be staying here again and want to thank everyone for a great stay!! Bryan and Cheri Denver
Good value for the location which is within walking distance of the plaza. Staff very courteous.
Housekeeping services could have been better. A pile of clean towels and a new roll of toilet paper were just left on the unmade bed each day.
