i liked the convenience to the freeway and the price
Loud, poor quality sleep, many people sharing rooms-talking outside of door at 4 a.m.
Staff were helpful, very adequate breakfast, comfort of room.
Front desk staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough! Cheap. Good location.
Noisy, paper-thin walls, so you can hear everything going on in the rooms around you. Decor is tatty. Whole place is in need of some TLC. Room was serviced, but bed wasn't made properly, no replacement toiletries and hadn't been properly cleaned.
Guest conveniences provided (soaps, shampoo) - unlike the other more expensive place we stayed for two nights. The comfy chair.
The door lock. Had a # of problems with it.
i liked the location it was right of the interstate and easy to find
the room had a funky smell and the bed was kind of uncomfortable
The best part of Guesthouse Inn is Nicole at the front desk. She was very helpful and friendly. I would return because of the service.
The price (without using booking.com) is much more than the room is worth.
the staff was great
located on busy street (next to highway & gas station) and there is no noise barrier - couldn't sleep well with all the traffic
Good value for the money
Small cramped room, with strange smells
The staff was polite and the rooms were clean.
Our double queen room was too small, loud and no privacy! Our family of 3 slept there for 2 nights while we went to Silverwood. I asked for a quiet room. There idea of quiet was to put us down stairs on the first floor (which we called the basement) right behind a gas station! We had to keep the curtains shut so no one would peep in. People were getting gas at all hours of the night. We heard all of the loud music, yelling, door slamming, and loud roaring truck engines. We also had a neighbor above us who started pacing back and forth and running around starting at 6am. The second day it sounded more like a child running back and forth early in the morning. The room itself was small. The beds were very uncomfortable. The bathroom (which only had the tub and toliet) was so small you had to shimmy yourself between the tub and toliet to close the door and then again to open it back up. The sink was outside by the room door which was fine. Everything felt cramped. The free breakfast was a joke. There was only waffles and cereal. The other Guesthouse hotels we have stayed at had a wide variety of fresh breakfast foods. Then again there main office was small and crammed and probably couldn't fit anything else in there. The plus side is your within walking distance to restaurants. We had breakfast at Elmers which is very good! We tried to make the most of it since we were only in our room to shower and sleep. I have never been dissipointed with a hotel but I guess there is a first for everything. I would not recommend this place unless it was your last resort!!!
my two year old son found gum from a previous guest stuck on the side of microwave, i discovered it when he showed it to me in his mouth. not pleased at all.
Not the cleanest, the air conditioning was horrible, beds and pillows need to be updated. Bathroom was a shoebox. Wifi would not work. We were only there to sleep and that was less than par.
The staff were very friendly and did their job well.
There was wiring issues where the lighting did not work in some lights. There was a dip in the middle of the bed so did not sleep well. When you plugged in something by the sink it had a tendency to pop the outlet. It really needs updating. It was not worth over $100 a night.
Sketchy location, worry about your car and theft, not a very comfy or relaxing place.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
Breakfast area too small. Food options good but had to take it back to room due lack tables.
The location was ok but the motel itself was rundown and the rooms were very small. definately not worth 150/night and the continental breakfast was ok, but the looby was very small and crowded. i would never book this motel again.
We were able to get a room on a busy weekend in Coeurd'alene. We had no idea it would be so hard to get a room in any hotel there. We were glad to get this room.
But, the bed wasn't comfortable, and the air conditioner was very loud, as was the traffic outside the window. The room was clean but not fancy at all for the $140 we paid for it, we were disappointed. We come to CDA a great deal as our kids live here, but we will not stay in this hotel again.
It was only a one-night stay
Didn't feel safe when the staff propped open the key-access-only doors with trash cans to improve air circulation. Light switches were filthy -- no bedside lamp -- only electrical outlets were inconveniently located across the room Spend a few more $$ and stay somewhere else
Price is good, very cheap
I asked for a non-smoke room. My first impression when open my room door was a jacky cigarret odor. I'm very picki with odors, first night I couldn't sleep because that :(
the beds were uncomfortable and the ac unit gave us a sinus infection.
beds wasn,t real clean lamp didn't work noisy just a bad situation
Staff friendly, bed comfortable
Floors were dirty as well as bedspread not clean. breakfast area very small with minimal seating
free breakfast and coffee was great, the front desk staff was very nice.
a bit noisy in hallways during peak times, older hotel needs updating, room was non-smoking but smelled like used to be a smoking room.
Nothing. Overpriced. Filthy. Noisy. Place smelled horrible. Room was a pigpen. Not exaggerating!! Worst hotel we've ever stated in. If it was any possibility, we should get a partial and or full refund.
Every single thing
The price and location
we were on the 3rd floor and had to lug our luggage up all the stairs. I was by my self with a younger child, so it made for several trips in and out. some of it was quite heavy.
