Score from 27 reviews Wonderful
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Stephanie.
The tv did not work, despite the best efforts of Stephanie. The bolt lock on the door did not work. We were not given consideration for our inconvenience. It seemed the hotel is understaffed and needing attention.
The jacuzzi tub was wonderful.
The motel was clean, but needed some love and repair.
Qiet and restful night.
Second story window was unlocked and RV Remote was unresponsive. There was only a small phone in the room and the table available to work on was too small for a computer and documents. Breakfast area poorly suited.
Great stop over place between Vancouver and Portland after spending the day in the area. Large rooms, good bed, nice sized bathroom with good counter space. Breakfast was good, as well. Staff very accommodating.
Size of the breakfast area was cramped, so get there early!
Nice enough, but very generic. Like a 1,000 other off-freeway motels. Very friendly staff. Morning coffee was decent.
It's in the Land that Everybody Forgot, at some distance from the freeway and in the middle of nowhere. Not sure why it's there. I booked it because of its TripAdvisor rating, but it's so-so. Just another non-descript motel.
Didn't have a bath mat. Olny had set-up for1 person for coffee and there were 2 of us.
I loved that the pool was open 24/7. My daughter loves to swim so we were in the pool a lot!
location continental breakfast size of 2 room suite pool and hot tub area friendly staff
dirty floors smoke detector hanging from the ceiling cracked/loose ceramic tiles in bathroom filthy windows outdated carpeting VHS player in bedroom
24 hour indoor pool
Pool was a little cold
We stayed multiple nights; towels were not always changed out nor was the trash removed from the room daily. We would return at the end of the day to a still dirty room and unmade beds. Facilities are older, first floor has a musty smell, hot tub was shut down the whole time we were there, and they sprayed for bugs while out kids were in the pool the maintenance workers response was that it wouldn't hurt them. The price is too high for the hotel.
VERY CLEAN. BREAKFAST IS SO GOOD.
Location, friendliness of staff, quiet atmosphere.
No prior knowledge that the jacuzzi was out of commision and the fact that the motel advertized it has a jacuzzi is one of the reasons we decided to book at the motel. There was no evidence that anyone was even trying to repair it for customers to use. We were there two days, and we had hoped for the use of it. Disappointed there was not a policy on a night deadline for children to be in pool, there was not time that just adults could use the pool.
The staff was nice and wanted to be helpful.
the pool was not functioning the entire 6 day stay at the Inn, but they said it would only be 1 or 2 days until it would be usable. Also the air conditioner in our room did not work!
Staff was very helpful and hard working. Breakfast was self-serve and had options for all tastes from waffles to eggs and sausage to cereal to yogurt and fruit. Great value for money.
Television in bunk bed room was mounted on a stand on the wall that stuck out and anyone over 5´ tall could easily hit their head, especially if they had to get up at night and forgot that it was there. But pretty minor issue.
It is time to upgrade those TVs to flat screen. The smoking area at the side door is too close to the building.
Facility is easy to find and has walking access to eateries.
We have stayed at the Guest House twice before and were always very happy with the facility. This last visit, however, was not as pleasurable: (1) not enough towels, etc. [for two people, two sets; if you used the pool, you used up your towel]; quality of guest toiletries was poor [packages showing name of some other hotel chain-tacky]; room with kitchen (microwave; refrig) but only one dinner plate for two people?; window screen broken and bent out at bottom. Very disappointed with quality this time.
The price was good. Close proximity to Fort Lewis.
Not having the hot tub working. Not getting waffles the first morning of our stay. Due to the waffle mix being out. I did ask but nothing happened after.
No HBO and expanded basic. The fridge had 2" of ice covering the freezer and it froze everything. The stove had a burner sitting on the cupboard. The fridge was a relic.
Staff was great,
You could tell that every expense that could be saved was. Not a bad thing since everything was in good shape. The pillows were nice but are even smaller than the standard double pillow. the breakfast was fine but very basic, the coffee was pretty weak. Like I said everything was nice and well maintained but you could tell that if a penny could be saved, it was. I have adjusted my expectations and I would stay here again.
The staff greeted us in a super friendly way. We were on two different rooms during our stay and both were wonderful.
I had booked the hot tub room for two nights. They had one spa tub that needed service, so they offered me a different room for the first night and 30% off my stay. I was okay with that and my spa room was ready for me the second night. The problem was when I went to check out. They had changed the billing and I was being charged $50 more. They had removed the discount from my stay to just discounting the first night. I stated the bill was incorrect and it took almost an hour or stress, tears and them trying to make me feel guilty about being upset over the mistake. They did not treat me like I was a valued guest. I felt like they were trying to exhort money from me. The first desk gal was new an very nice, but she had to call the manager and that lady was horrible. Never did she apologize for the mistake. She acted like she was doing me a favor by fixing the error, when after an hour she finally did decided to correct the error. That was not a favor, that was charging me correctly as had been agreed upon when I arrived. The discount was meant to ease the fact that the room I booked wasn't available to me. Due to the stress and how hard I had to fight with them get my bill corrected, I would never return. The rooms are nice.. But check your bill before you hand them your credit card when you leave. I also recommend taking a picture of the paper you sign when you arrive that shows what you are being billed.
Wallpaper peeling in children's room. Pool not available during our stay.
The staff was very nice
The pillows were hard and the pool wasn't available
the size of the room along with the kitchenette
asked for a wake up call which did not happen
Super staff and facility.
The pool was closed. My 10 year old grandson was kinda disappointed.
The price was right and the noise level was low. The staff was friendly. Coffee was excellent!
The hot water supply was limited at first but it was fixed while I was there.
