Score from 117 reviews Good
Good value for the price. Clean room. Decent beds. Desk staff very nice. Covered parking if you get there early. Good Mexican Cafe across the street. Not on the 21st Street Strip is a plus!
Pet "facilities" almost non-existent since hotel is in the middle of several paved parking lots. Room door did not close completely behind us. Had to give it a tug. Same with entry door to stairwell.
The front desk staff were very nice.
The bathtub was filthy and the stench from the factories in the town seeps into the rooms. It was so bad in the middle of the night, it woke me up burning my throat and sinuses. Impossible to eat because the smell was similar to a sewer treatment plant. The breakfast was as minimal as possible and there be any food at all.
Location good and excellent pricefor the week.
Mattress needed to be replaced
be had blood on it... bathroom was disgusting... maid never came to clean room... breakfast sucked.... in need of repair... elevator was scary
The Guesthouse has become our home away from home when we visit family in the area. The bed is great. The rooms are spacious, clean & comfortable. The value & location is outstanding.
The bathrooms near the hot tub are out of order; had to go all the way up to the room instead of a quick in & out when needed. Evidently this has been a problem for awhile.
We liked the location, the price and the staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly -- but the fish (steelhead) were not cooperative!
The cleanliness of the room was good although we feel the carpet could use an upgrade (time to change the carpet) -- mattress has 'a hole' developing in the king sized- bed we were using too, room 201.
Quiet except for occasional trains
Slow draining sink. 3rd floor stair exit door broken. Couldn't enter from the outside. Night lights on stairwell were not working untill well after dark.
Rooms nice and beds comfortable
Hot water sucked..only have shower at home, look forward to hot bath when staying in hotel
Price of the room location is close to the walking trails and the river
Police activity around the hotel Wifi was poor at best Facility is very dated
the hotel was close to LCSC venue where we attended a concert, so the location was convenient. Very quiet night sleep and appreciated. There is a few cosmetic maintenance repairs that could sustain the hotel for the future.
the room smelled like it was extremely strayed with lysol, the window was open when we arrive, so it was being aired out. I understand that room cleaning is essential but we both woke up the next morning with allergy/sinus congestion. I would suggest less spraying, especially arisol spray can use.
I liked the staff...they tried to help.
The bed was ancient! The non-smoking room reeked of cigarette smoke! The chairs had potato chip crumbs on the cushions! The Wi-Fi would cut out every 30 seconds! At least the heater worked :)
This was in a very shady part of town and for $7.00 more a night I will go to my standby that I feel is a much better place to stay. I did not feel safe while staying there and I would not recommend it.
Staff was very friendly & helpful.
It smelled horrible especially in the hallways. Everything was old stained and dingy. We striped the mattress in fear of bed bugs but did not find any. There was no shampoo in the bathroom. The free breakfast was extremely limited. Will not return ever!
It was a good room for the price.
The location was a little scary, I did not feel real safe. I did not like the shampoo.
-the view- railroad, river, park, hills -very comfortable bed -microwave and refrig in room -Antonio's restaurant next door -clean, convenient and quiet inside
-bathtub very worn and stained -railroad noise at night -3rd floor outside entrance did not operate w/room key -no safe in room
The staff was very courteous and helpful. We checked In very late after a WSU game. Breakfast was good.
Lewiston is a bit further away from WSU than we expected. The rooms need some updating.
No protein in breakfast except milk and sugary yogurt. Railroad tracks run right next to the building, but a train only came by once in the night.
Breakfast was ok. Pool was nice, but very cold. Beds were comfortable.
Staff was rude both times I called on the phone and when we arrived an hour and half early we were not allowed to checkin and she could give a recommendation of a place to eat. Took 10 mins to just get towels for the pool with 2 clerks working the front desk. The whole building had an odor which I believe was the carpenting.
Staff was friendly and room was dated but clean. You don't pay as much as other places, so don't expect all the frills. Decent room for the price.
Place was aged and shows it. Clean but older. Neither the TV remote nor alarm clock worked. Room was next to the stairwell so when the stairwell door was closing, it would slam. Very noticeable in the room.
People were amazingly friendly. Across the street from best Mexican restaurant in Idaho and a very good espresso stand.parking is good and is walkable to downtown retail.
It was warm for September and ac was noisy.
Staff was excellent and very helpful. The rooms were clean, comfortable and pet friendly.
The pet run needed cleaning. However I feel it is the guests responsibility to clean after pets. If they don't then the staff should.
Definitely thought we got a great hotel for the money. We will book here again when in Lewiston.
The a/c does need upgraded. Works, but didn't keep the room "cool". But it was comfortable.
The breakfast was disappointing. The worse part was a toaster that didn't (toast, that is). Also, the food wasn't re-stocked. If you didn't get to breakfast till 8 or after, some of the food was gone.
The hotel has a great location by downtown Lewiston. If you are traveling through Lewiston, and want to sleep and have a bathroom, this is for you.
The Wi-Fi only works sometimes, and when it does it is low bid service at best! My room was a non-smoking room. I'm not real bad about the smell of smoke being perfect, but I think my room was in the smoking section for years but now is non-smoking.
