Location. Close to Hollywood main strip.
Small parking. Need to pay extra for parking. Hard to find street parking. Pay extra for slow wifi. After paying over 120 dollars I should of stayed at the double tree with a comfortable bed for the same price
great location, it is very easy to go to hollywood highland
it is not close the airport
The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They made our first night in the United States a very pleasant experience.
Wifi costs extra and can only be used on one device. We are from another country so not having wifi to research our next place was annoying
Location was good. Free coffee and doughnuts in the morning.
Towels sucked. Bed was..terrible. How old was that mattress? Then, we could hear people arguing out on the street and wanted to check out a night early but the cancellation fee was higher than the price we paid for the room. Ice out of the machine was 50 cents. WiFi was 8.00 for 24 hours. Lame. Stay somewhere else with soft towels and comfortable beds. Somewhere that screaming crazy people won't wake you up and you just have to deal with it because you can't get a refund. Just stay somewhere else in the first place.
Place is close to Walk of Fame, nice and nice restaurants. It's all walkable.
Staff is unfriendly and uninterested. During our second stay they treated us as criminals, not like guests. (Not that the first stay was super friendly either). Eventually the boss tried to clean the unnecessary discussion. Place has a good location and the rooms are acceptable for what you pay for. Don't expect anything else.
The hotel is very well located on Sunset Boulevard, so it's an easy walk to Hollywood Boulevard and any number of places you might like to visit.
I was charged $20 for early check-in, despite my room being ready, so I see no reason why a charge should be levied if my early arrival (by one hour) hasn't caused any issue whatsoever. Wi-fi is $8 for 24 hours PER DEVICE (not mentioned on their page), so be mindful because it will cost you. Most hotels don't charge at all for wi-fi, so the owner may want to re-think this policy.
The bed was comfortable and Latin was good
The room smelled like sewage - had to go and buy a candle and burn it the whole time we were in room and still didn't help much.
A few minutes walk to Hollywood Walk of Fame, safe neighbourhood. Free internet and superb coffee across the street in Javista cafe. Also, just right from Javista cafe on the corner of las palmas is the spot where Hollywood stars tours starts its journey (if you are into that sort of thing). Walk left down on the street and you'll find Ross discounter for clothes and California's famous in'n out burger. Walk to the right and there is one of the largest record stores in North America -Amoeba records. Also right after that a great IMAX cinema.
The air was very moist in our room (102), the carpet seemed a bit old and the shower didn't work with full pressure. Everything else was excellent and the price-location-quality is hard to beat.
It's around the corner from the walk of fame and one stop on the underground away from Universal Studios. There's also a really cool coffee & tea shop just opposite.
Maybe we got used to getting really good helpful and friendly service in the US, but the guy who checked us in was the least happy person we met on our trip. Not a problem, it was funny more than anything else. Also our room rate included breakfast - turns out breakfast is just coffee and a doughnut.
It's a Motel what do you expect...
The manager ( a big guy) very rude, he shout us, he didn't care about anything . Not comfort place . Plus you have to pay for wifi, parking and they charge you extra things that in other places don't even think about it DON'T STAY THERE PLEASE
The hotel is very close to everything which makes it easy getting around
The room smelled and had no hair dryer. The toilet got blocked and we rang reception and were told to come a get a plunger to unblock it. YUK
The hotel let me check in super early. The location is awesome. Close to Hollywood Blvd, and the metro train. Having a refrigerator.
Only thing was the pillows were flat, and there were a few ants in the room.
Gentleman at front desk
didn't get the room i reserved wouldn't fill request for special occasion and wouldn't let me see room without paying first parking could be problem
The location was good, slept well
There were black hairs all over our 'fresh' towels, which looked more like rags rather than towels.. Room smelled a bit funny, had to pay for parking..
Nothing as we were there for one night. Person in charge unhelpful, just interested in taking our money. Next day asked for storage for our bags and showed us a cupboard that needed comdeming due to rat droppings and in all hazardous to health. Took bags and left. Will not ever recommend and the place needs someone to go and inspect
Location was fantastic. Staff was very helpful. There is also a store/pharmacy and a laundromat down the street. View of the Hollywood sign and walking distance to Hollywood Blvd and a lot of restaurants and souvenir stores.
Rooms require better lighting and carrying the luggage up the stairs was a little painful.
Parking lot was small
Well, there was a refrigerator in the room.
Television had no CC. Parking was so tight in that small lot I couldn't leave early until manager had moved cars.
It had air conditioning, a refrigerator or a decent size, tv with many channels.
Extremely rude staff, our room key refused to work, parking in the garage which they made us pay for was a nightmare, rooms smelled very strange, reserved 1 king bed and was placed in a room with 2 queens.
- Dirty Sheets-had hair on them -Mouldy room -Breakfast- (Stale donuts) -Could not sleep only stayed there a night as a layover not worth it -lack of customer service -The guy at reception lacked the motivation to provide information about anything, he was to busy watching TV.
They charge you for parking, for WIFI for gods sake!! And a lot of little hiden fees
