Unfriendly and impersonal staff and dirty bathroom. The rooms need a renovation!! We stayed for 3 nights and had to ask for a new wifi-code every day.
I came with my son and his three friends for a three day spring break. I used this hotel because of having the four teens with me. I was expecting something special with a Hard Rock theme when we checked in. I found the check-in area dark and nothing special "at all". The room was very modern and nice, but again without the "wow" I was expecting due the name of the hotel. There seems very little entertainment in Chicago that is aimed at the 16 -20 year old group. I was disappointed that this hotel didn't even attempt to meet that need.
Great space in the room. Very clean. Great black-out curtains.
We paid to upgrade our room. It the upgrade was dirty.
Very basic hotel. Barren Hallways and rooms small, holes in furniture and pubic hairs in linens. Restaurant bar was closed for no apparent reason given. Quite a walk to main shopping. Poor water pressure in shower, it must have had a hard time to get to the 23rd floor. I asked for a view and got a view of construction and dumpsters below.
The idea of paying over $200 a night for a hotel and not getting free WIFI is unbelievable.
the great location, the friendly helpful staff, the fun of the rock music connection, the classiness at a good price
Was very disappointed in the lack of decor. Expected much more in the rooms and throughout the building. From the 18th floor - you could hear so much noise outside - it was as of we were on first floor.
The views were beautiful in the king suites. My boyfriend and I loved celebrating our anniversary here!
Being charged almost $80 more than I was supposed to that was never reconciled.
The room itself
At is near too the maen shopping
Got bites all over me the first night we stayed. Not sure if fleas or bedbugs. Room heat did not work very well. Very cold. Room was not very clean. Only provided one roll of toilet paper. Room was back in hall near vending machine and janitor closet, awful location for over 200.00 a night. Loud in morning when staff was preparing to clean room. Dog hair all over room. Allergies went crazy the whole time. Also room had very musty smell.
It was a great location and staff were helpful and friendly.
This hotel draws a younger, rowdier crowd. Hotel was pretty loud at night.
Nice staff, comfortable rooms.
Horrible valet parking service, hit my truck and never want to take responsibility for what they did... never come back there again thats for sure.
Room was comfy...
I had to ask twice for my room safe to be repaired. At check in they forgot to give me breakfast passes & I mistakenly paid for my 1st of 4. I was told this would be removed on 2 occasions but it wasn't. More info needed in a book in room specific to this hotel
Size & comfort of room. The concierge was very helpful & got me tickets to a sold out gig at House of Blues. When my toilet broke it was fixed immediately. Breakfast team In chucks very friendly & professional.
Room view not very good. exercise room very nice but several of the machines were not working properly. Tread climber would not start up and one treadmill volume would not work on the tv.
my stay was included breakfast plan and hotel gave vouchers of Chuck's restaurant for it. in our 6 days, there was a rude waitress not giving welcome attitude to us until we mentioned it to her colleague then she started to 'being nice'. after meal she brought us a bill to pay for breaky but she totally forgot we gave breakfast vouchers before she served us, which mean we didn't need to pay when our budget was under $20 per person. anyways, we were all upset a well-recommand hotel not training staff properly. also we had taxi that doorman recommend us to airport which were 20% more than normal taxi, the driver wasted 10 mins to another hotel and wanted another driver having us to airport because she got a call from other customer. we're pissed that running late to airport and had to bring down all suitcases down to another taxi so we rejected to change taxi. the service was inappropriate and unsatisfied.
the mattress was really comfy. the lift was so fast and steady! spacious area for double bedroom. included breakfast was delicious with various selection, the waitress Sarah was so friendly and warm, we liked her service a lot.
Great price and location great value for the money
Have stayed here about 10x on both business and leisure. It's half museum, half hotel. Great character and usually one of the least expensive nice hotels for a few blocks. Recommend you look at the weather report before paying for a tower upgrade.
Great location, friendly staff, clean and comfortable accommodations. Would stay there again...
The most awsome service ever! You get a free Fender included in the room charge.
I thought the parking was to high.
Hotel staff was very helpful and friendly
