the nightclub crowd. I was not permitted to use the 1st floor restroom because the restroom was for the nightclub crowd and I had to go back to my room.

Nothing in particular

Small room, broken coffee maker, moldy walls, smaller mattress than bed frame and broken, very noisy! Lack of interests of the stuff for guest comfort and lastly...way overpriced! The hotel fits in with the city's image!

Having answered all the above in the positive, I can only say that it was the most gratifying experience I have had for many years - the staff and facilities were the very finest.

I loved the location and the amenities in the lobby. It was a beautiful place to spend time. The Library Bar is fun and unique.

The decor of the rooms does not fit with the luxury of the lobby. Rooms did not feel like 4 star accommodations. The pool party scene was off putting.

Wonderful location of this iconic historical hotel. The original lobby is as it was in 1927 and is where the very first Academy Awards were held. The hotel is on Hollywood Blvd across the street from the famous Grauman Chinese Theater in front of which are the hands, feet and signatures of many very famous movie stars both old and new.

Value for money, charging an extra 21 per day for Internet after already paying close to 400 for the room for one night

Hotel was clean, reasonably modern and funky. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was clean but compact. Shower in the bath was o.k. Location was sensational. Right on Hollywood Blvd, wasn't noisy at all, although we were at the back of the building.

Room was very small, in fact it was smaller than our hotel in New York which we expected to be small. Staff were friendly but didn't go out of their way to do anything more than what they had to do. Air-conditioning in room was very loud, so we didn't use it. Wifi was extra which is unusual for most decent hotels. We weren't informed of valet charges until checkout - $33 per night.

The rooms were small and dirty with old uncomfortable furniture. The bath towels were old and stained. Customer Service was poor, when we arrived there were 2 people at the reception but only one was checking in customers, the other was too busy buying bracelets from a street vendor....she was behind the reception desk looking at bracelets and fully aware of over 15 people waiting to check in. She didn't seem bothered by it. When I finally checked in I notice the bath towels available were old and stained and one troweled seemed dirty so I requested new towels which took 45min to arrive! Having stayed in LA many times it was a shock to me that such a prestigious Hoyle could be that bad and all of this is not enough The Roosevelt do not provide complimentary WiFito guests charging $21 per day for access!

The location is fabulous. 25 degrees food was amazing. Friendly and accomodating staff.

The pool was closed for a private event. But we did see Jason Bateman and Ellen Degeneres so that kind of made up for it.

I liked the location & it is easily accessible to Hollywood Blvd. & shopping.

It was not relaxing at all! The pool was a crowded pick up spot and was open to anyone...all the young party crowd! My room was very small, the cost was high & even the coffee in the room was charged! I wanted to go sit by the pool in the morning & I was asked to leave because they were setting up for a band...on Mon. Morning?!

The Roosevelt Hotel's accessibility to the theaters we were attending as part of the tcm Classic Film Festival and the activities available to festival participants in the lobby made it a perfect location.

We arrived a couple of hours early and had to wait until 3 pm when the room was ready. While waiting, we needed to access our luggage and it took quite a while to find the person who had stored it.

Location is excellent and the staff could not have been more helpful.

$21 / day / device for WiFi is outrageous.

Too many steps to floor 2, no elevator

Location was awesome with the on site restaurants and very helpful concierge Jeanie that was amazing.

The first room was old and had a foul smell. The newly renovated cabanas were amazing.

We loved everything about the ROOSEVELT. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful they even gave us an upgrade which was a lovely surprise. It's close to everything you could want and I would definitely come back.

Amazing place, good service and good geographic position

We came for our Wedding Anniversary. We had a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the pool where we had breakfast in the morning. For Dinner we went to the Public Kitchen - the restaurant in the hotel and had the best roasted chicken ever! We relaxed at the pool, tried out the different bars - a perfect getaway.
